Just picked up this club and went and played 18 with it.. It felt good w everything standard. Can't wait to tune it. The for the vid. And thanks for your service my man 🤝💯
Steve I don't know where you are located but you should look into seeing if there is Heroes Golf Tour League near you. I am in the Houston area and there is a tournament just about every Wednesday. It's a fantastic league with like-minded first responders, military, veterans and folks from the public who support us. Godspeed brother
I play PXG as well. I like the 'look' of the new 0211 vs the gen 5 0311. I need to test them and see if they are better than last years 0211. I normally buy the latest and greatest and bought last years 0211 as a test. I didn't expect to like it. But it became my gamer. Great club!
@@FirstResponderGolf cool, I'm only 35 but feel a lot older, had a heart attack and now have a pacemaker and have broke 18 bones and have metal rods and bolts here and there lol 🤣
Got fitted at a PXG Studio comparing against my old driver. Could get me much of any improvements UNTIL he put in a Ventus Red shaft +10 yards. Unfortunately, it was a $350 upcharge 😔
It’s a beautiful driver Steve. My problem with new driver releases every year is I can’t see paying 3-500 for 2-5 yards distance and dispersion. I love my cobra speed zone and don’t play enough or have the better swing to keep upgrading great review brother
I agree. If I didn't have the means to buy this driver I wouldn't have done it and I'd have been happy staying with my other driver. But I also get the right this driver off as a business expense. LOL. Thanks for always watching brother and commenting
@@FirstResponderGolf I have a proto driver but due to the price drop I am considering picking up the Gen 5 driver. Good review and I am a disabled veteran so I completely understand you when it comes to PTSD.
Thanks for watching. Believe me I have tried to shorten the backswing. The pros I have had lessons with have never tried to change it. I have asked and they wanted to focus on other things I was doing to make me better at that time. I have had lessons from say 6 different pros over 25 years. I don't practice enough to put time into the change. I prefer to go play and play with what I got. lol.
id like to see a younger person reviewing these drivers someone that carrys 280-300. watching a person who rolls to 250 yards has nothing in common with age 18-38 people. i have this driver only played one round so far but it hits long carry like 300. one thing i will say mine came with 7.5 gram weights in heel and toe and a 2.5g in sole and it does feel very heavy and slows my swing down alot but that means im hitting it straighter
Thanks for watching. I get it man. Sorry I am not younger, lol. I am just trying to share my experience with the club and grow the game. As well as spread the PTSD mission. Take care.

Thanks for watching. Good luck fine tuning it. Love it. My pleasure to serve the public.

Thanks Nate. I will check on that here in Kansas City for sure.

Ironically I have just gone back to my 0211s. Lol
Looks like you hit really well with that driver, i cant wait to get mine 😊
I did. I got refit earlier this year for the Gen 6 with a new shaft that fits me better at 52 years old.

Unfortunately that is the down side. The Shaft I have was a $300 shaft from a local fitter in KC but it has helped my dispersion. Thanks for watching.

@@ariesnc6320 thank you for your service and thanks for watching the video. I recommend getting the driver I'm slowly starting to get used to it
Great video, may I suggest trying to shorten your back swing by about 10%? I see you take it passed parallel a lot, may end up helping you a bunch!

Firefighter in the UK. Looking at this driver at the minute.
Hello fellow Brother. I will be making another video soon with Gen 6 irons, woods and hybrids.
I’m thinking about pulling the trigger on the Gen 5 0311 XF. The 2022 0211 is at $239 for mil/first responders!!
Thanks for watching. Whatever you choose I think you will be happy.
@@FirstResponderGolf I’m scheduled for a fitting tomorrow!!
@@HRodLoyal9 where are you doing the fitting?
@@FirstResponderGolf at TPC in San Antonio
@@HRodLoyal9 nice. Have fun. Let me know what you decide to go with.
