Is it sad how I remember the Death Stinger, a Zoid from one season, better than the Zoids of any protagonist? This beast, despite not having the figure, this was my childhood.

I just noticed something, the death stinger is unique for chaotic century. The death stinger never appeared in any other show but chaotic century.
6 year necro post, but Death Stinger is in New Century Zero. Backdraft use it to shoot down the judge satellites. You only see the tail, but there's no telling if they only have the tail or if they've got the whole damn zoid.
Being that Backdraft aren't actually evil and just want to make a lot of money, they might actually have the stinger outright and are just not using it beyond shooting down satellites to avoid another nuclear holocaust.

Damn this thing was badass it could go any where, be it land, sea, underground and yes even lava. Think you could hide this thing can hunt you down no matter its size or distance its charge particle canon range is huge, it as fricking shield, multiple minor weapons and don't even think of hiding before mountains this things canons would fricking fuck the mountains and everything else standing behind them; hell this thing in technicality never loss since it was never destroyed in battle atleast as far as I remember. In my opinion far better than mecha Godzilla 2.0 rip off we later see that was like a sitting target the death stinger was more mobile.
it did lose once to a weapon called the gravity cannon and that had the power of an artificial black hole
+Grant Bonham id say Hiltz wasn't even using the Death Stinger to its full potential. Like he already knows what they plan on doing but guess what he just sits there and let the 3 zoids set up the sheild if I were him i would immediately dig underground and go for the ultrasaurus and use the CP cannon under it where it can't do jack shite.
True but why didn't make a break for the original death sauror underground
Grant Bonham the other half of the core was not ready yet for him to be there and it would be a waste to have created a death stinger without doing anything with it.
But the other half of the core was in the same vally as the deatsourua and he could have easily gotten reese to get him access to his body

Indeed! Or rather, ovaries of steel, it was a girl piloting it. No military background either, her family just happened to own that zoid, so she jumped in to try and defend her village.

I just realized all the death stinger had to do when it was trapped inside the shield was to dig underground and probably take out one of the zoids upon surfacing.
Exactly. Had that Death Saurer not combine Zoid Cores with Death Stinger's it would have been weaker. I like it when there are others that know the series well and look at how things turn out and look at every little detail.
The only way for this badass machine to be even MORE badass is if it had a robot mode to transform into as well! 😆
I remember nothing could kill this thing, also if I recall I don't think the Death Stinger was ever defeated. It basically destroyed everything in its path. It's truly one of, if not the, most badass Zoid of all time.

In a battle, Death Stinger would be easy prey for Executioner, being that Executioner is probally the biggest zoid that has ever existed.

The actual Death Stinger Hiltz has is a new zoid. The Legend were one of the Ultra Violent Scorpion Types.
@bluezgoldz : Na Hiltz was just stupid. Though it survived longer than either of the Death Saurers combined. And survived two shots from the gravity cannon (First it shot down the shell).
He survived because he didn't combine Ambiet with the DS core
But he was being kicked by Van alone and without Zeke.
At that moment Van+Raven were enough to beat This zoid.

So if the death stinger was suppose to surpass the death saurer's power, why did he go to all this trouble to bring back what he just called the inferior of the two Zoids? why not take the power of the death saurer and just add it to the death stinger to make it the complete ultimate Zoid for speed, power, mobility, and overall destruction?
he's a dumbass that's why. Even I would never trade a Death Stinger for a Death Saurer.
Because Death stinger couldn't handle it. It was stayed Death Saurer Body was the ultimate zoid and Van was surpassig the death stinger in battle.
If he decided to continue with this zoid , he would"ve gotten his ass kicked.

but lets go with your claim that Van was surpassing the death stinger, it was said in the video that the stinger was designed to surpass the saurer, so if van was beating the stinger, in theory facing the inferior one, the saurer, wouldve been a walk in the park for Van.
but I still want to go back to my OP. aside from size and shooting in severa directions at once, the stinger had the saurer in every other way: speed, agility, its ability to hide especially underground where it couldnt be tracked, and it could still hit targets at incredibly far away distances.
Dont get me wrong, i LOVE the Death Saurer, especially the reveal when they first awoke it, but just in theory as it's shown in the show for the death stinger, not the original Scorpion designed to take on the Death Saurer, the Saurer maybe has an armor (aside from charged particle cannon weakness) and range advantage over the Stinger, but honestly thats all I can think of for why it's the better zoid.

Me too. I love both Zoids , and i'm fine with these monstrosities being the last Boss. At the end Death Saurer proved why he exterminated an entire civilization in one night and the Death stinger proved how badass it were ( i'm scorpio and i love that beauty of a zoid lol)

I plan on making a zoids anime movie called "Zoids: Begining of the End." It will be about about how the Red and Blue legions form an alliance in order to stop the now out-of-control wild zoids. When the alliance thinks they have found the source, they send some of their best pilots to investigate, who find the horror behind it all: a giant zoid named Excutioner who has a mind of it's own. Then, the war begins. Who will win Excutioner and his legion of wild zoids or the alliance? U will find out

I think Shield Ligers could take more of a beating though. Rev Raptors are just the frontline types. Shield Ligers are more of the support group and if you remember, Van did well with his Shield Liger. Not a huge fan of that character but I will admit that.

Excutioner is 16x bigger then Death Saurer, Mega Saurer, Ultimate Deathsaurer, Bloody death saurer, and Death stinger combined and is also 100x more powerful then all them combined. (He is also virtually invincible.)
