    Fab video, thanks so much, still need to this job, the fluid hasn't been replaced in years, dreading it i have to say, will probably look as terrible as yours did.
    At least the bolts on the slave-cylinder will most likely be good quali and not cause a headache.

    I can’t believe the state of that slave cylinder mate, that’s rotten! Once you’re done I reckon that’ll be like riding a new bike. Loving the vids mate.

    Gee, the most important detail is highlighting how you got the piston out. Wish that had been part of the video. Thanks for the information. BTW, if you wet that seal with brake fluid first, it' will be much easier to install.

    Die Dichtungen kann man vor der Montage mit ein wenig Fett einstreichen. Ansonsten top. 👍🏻😉

      i did a video on the clutch slave issues, mine was really gunked up, strip down and clean, replace seals and i also replaced the clutch hose and insulted it as it sits near the exhaust, its a common problem on ST's

    So, if you to just rebuild the clutch slave cylinder, you don't have remove the large clutch cover, correct?

    • @TheAmateurBikeBuilder
      @TheAmateurBikeBuilder  3 місяці тому

      Yes, that is correct, just take off the bellypan part of the bodywork and you have full access to the slave cylinder

      @@TheAmateurBikeBuilder someone said that the exhaust does need to be removed, correct?

    • @TheAmateurBikeBuilder
      @TheAmateurBikeBuilder  3 місяці тому

      @@raynic1173 No, need to touch the exhaust, just take off the bellypan and you have enough access to it, i was in there on mine a few days ago to clean it, plenty of room to get the slave out

    How did you remove the clutch slave cylinder without removing the right exhaust. I can't remove the bolt that is nearest to the right exhaust?

    • @TheAmateurBikeBuilder
      @TheAmateurBikeBuilder  5 років тому

      Thanks Meerk1, the exhaust was removed in part 7 ua-cam.com/video/6fxCTad7jp8/v-deo.html , hope that helps
