I don't even know how old I was when I watched these Shows But I know I liked them. I was Looking them up when I also saw the Movies with Chester Morris. and I wondered where the Pencil thin Mustach went. This is terrific I Have a whole library of Goodies to rewatch. Thanks for the Upload
Oh my gosh. I was 7 years old when I first saw this show on television. I thought Kent Taylor was so dashing. Thank you for sharing! A new subscriber. Mesa, AZ May 22, 2022
I think Boston Blackie was the first show I ever saw on TV. At a neighbor's house, because we didn't have a TV set until 1955. Now, what the heck kind of car does Blackie drive here? Oh, and Chester Morris played Blackie as well. I remember him more than Taylor.
“Boston Blackie 101 Blonde,” Season 2, Episode 9, aired 12 December 1952. Kent Taylor as Boston Blackie Frank Orth as Inspector Faraday, Lois Collier as Mary Wesley, Marjorie Weaver as Caroline Collins, John Crawford as Jim Marcum, Ted Hecht as George Grenoble, Barry Bernard as Brice, Walter Kelley (as Walter Kelly) as Severy, Troy Melton as Film Crew Member, Chalky Williams as Guard,
@@MattMorrisINTP : I and most others I know prefered Chester Morris in the film series AND the early episodes of the radio series. He left the radio and was replaced by Richard Kollmar, Dorothy Kilgallen's husband Your uncle was a much better actor and had class and warmth with a gentle sense of humor
I wouldn't have known except others named both of them here in the comments In the Movies it was no mustash Chester Morris and on TV it was Kent Taylor with the Pencil thin mustash.
it was a customized Cunningham.or perhaps a one=off Crosley..They. had a lot of trouble with the car so you will note several different convertibles were used..(including a '49 Caddy.

Very cool!
@@michaeldanello3966 he was a spitting image of my Dad's brother. It was kinda weird how alike they were.
Were they're two Boston Blackies??
I remember Blackie to be a little wider in the face. Or maybe it was the crappy 1950 vintage TV set LOL.
I wouldn't have known except others named both of them here in the comments In the Movies it was no mustash Chester Morris and on TV it was Kent Taylor with the Pencil thin mustash.
Enjoyable
Thats Blackie
A shame about the repeated beeping

What is that constant beeping noise? It's so annoying, I turned the show off.
I was about 7 and never got to see this, since it came of after my bedtime. From this show, I can see why. it's also incredibly boring....
Get somebody who knows there doing, not some air head
Your charging money for a friggin movie that's 80 yrs old?.... getting a bit greedy there aren't we?
