Those slides in the solo riff are killing me, it’s so annoyingly hard to get that timing right with all those up to 4 when the root not is the 9 on the a string
I heard your cover of "Jugulator".
I thought: this guy can't play.
So I thought: let's hear how he fares with "Painkiller"; I was impressed by your great skill.
Bottom line: you play beautifully and "Jugulator" is a horrendous song that not even a very good guitar player can make acceptable.
I speak as a Judas Priest fan: I still regret the 35,000 Lire (I'm Italian) that I had to spend on that damned CD...
Thank you for your honest words. My playing on that version was horrible because I could barely hear the track (didn't had speakers) and that makes it difficult to concentrate and stay in tempo, so I was tense. I might rework that song in the future.
I personally love that record, of course it doesnt compare to this but it has its charm, in my opinion. I like it much better than Demolition.

I'm sorry I can't share your appreciation about "Jugulator"; I hate it, just as I hate "Demolition".
My nephew likes "Jugulator" but honestly, I've never been able to figure out why.
However, if you do a cover of "Jugulator" again I will listen to it with interest; who knows I can't soften my attitude towards that album for me, at the moment, unlistenable.
Congratulations again for how you play: someone who can play like this "Painkiller" has nothing more to prove!

No. Está en el tono que le quise dar (y que Judas Priest usa hace casi 20 años). Para hacer una versión más propia. Esta medio tono más abajo. No en el tono equivocado.

Me too. It's so wild that it had to be largely improvised. I'd bet they never played it the same way twice. And that's why it's such a great solo/ song/ album! I'm going to see Priest this week in Dublin. Just getting in the mood with videos like this😁
@@ClifftopTragedynot even Glenn played this solo the same way live as it was recorded. Neither Richie Faulkner taking Glenn's place. And that's what makes it interesting.

Opino que si van a bajar el tono de la cancion especifiquen en el titulo del video, por que la interpretacion es buena, sin embargo es de mal gusto no especificar que se bajara el tono, por que el tono de voz tampoco va con el tono de la musica
