I had a problem with the slider loading so slow! I got frustrated and removed the slider completely. By going to edit page, and scrolling down there is a section to disable the slider. I then went back and inserted a full width image and made the section 'stretch'. This is a good work-a-round if you are just thinking about inserting a simple image on your page and don't want to deal with the hassle of the slider taking so long to load!

Hey Darrel, thanks for the tutorial, it's great! The image repeating option used to be very useful back in the days when you could use, let's say, a 1px slice from a gradient and repeat it on X in order to get a full gradient. This way you could decrease the loading time, which was always a big deal.

Great great video. I have a nice little Slider but if my sides load you have to move a bit the mouse or press anything on keyboard that slider begin his work. So you have to do a little action that slider begins. It makes me so cracy i can´t find in settings where the problem is. It should start from alone...

Really enjoyed the video - very useful and informative. With your help I created my first working slider -exciting stuff. Could you cover adding another slider with navigation. I thought it would be easy.... Just add another slide but it doesn't move to the next slide just stops at the end of the first one. Hope that makes sense. Thank you.
Very thorough and well explained. Thanks a bunch. One thing... I noticed the right side bar is not a flyout so it is really hard to access the timeline to shorten the event. You showed How to do it but Slider Revolution should make it more accessible.
Thanks Darrel for doing this tutorial. Slider Revolution is so powerful but has a steep learning curve. I have a full license from code canyon. But I'm afraid to tackle it cause of its complexity. Wish they would have more tutorials like this for their plugin. Its certainly a awesome tool to add to any web designing wordpress arsenal. But mastering it is not as simple.

Hi Darrel love your videos, I need a quick advice now I am designing a slider on slider revolution and the thing is iam using multiple images and some are taller than the others so this resulted in more extra canvas space which is transparent which then looks like a big gap once slider installed on home page. Is there a way to schedule sliders to start/end on a certain date? For example, if you had a sale changing weekly and you knew what all of those sales were going to be for the month, could you schedule 4 sliders and have them automatically swap out each week, or is that something you need to do by hand at the start of every week?

everything is fine and shinny and beautiful but i can not work if there is a HUGE (and i mean HUGE) option bar at the right side of the screen. The options bar consumes a HUGE amount of space and it is impossible to see the whole thing while you are working on it. I have to zoom out the browser to be able to see everything, and zoom in if I have to change the page.
@@Every-thing-it that's not a solution, you cannot change your computer just because of that. What about an enterprise? do they have to change their monitors and devices? that not a solution buddy. This is the only page that gives me problems. The logical move is enable and disable the panel.

However, when i toggle the slider to mobile preview, the back ground is cut and it takes just the central part of the background and doesn't show the whole picture. How do i correct this?
Hello Darrel, as always your tutorials are first rate Darrel I purchased a theme from Themeforest ' Sweetdate ' and whoa it's a real ball buster to setup I tell ya. It came with this Revolution Slider Plugin 6.0 and I want to edit the slider Sweetdate came with but I am stuck. I want to remove the woman in the slider or just remove all of the sliders and create my own. When I try and do what you do here at 18:00 it does not delete, suggestions, I MUST be doing something wrong. I have piotnet-addons-for-elementor-pro and a Templately Premium Subscription. Is Revolution Slider Plugin about the same? Thanks to your tutorial on Elemento Pro I am confident in myself and able to use it so-so but I always come back to your tutorial when I get stuck. Darrel, I have to ask, How do you learn all these themes, plugin's, page builders, websites, Holly smokes man, ok I am able to use Elementor ehh so-so but still return to your video.. How the heck do you learn all this stuff? Hell I been using Elementor and STILL learning. I am 62 years old, maybe that's why ehh! or is cuz I am Canadian? ayee

How do you change the position of the image accordingly to tablet and mobile? The most important part of the pictures, that we want to showcase, can't be seen on mobile because it's not positioned in the center! Please help. 🤞
Good basic runthrough...glosses past some of the details, and wish there was a little less times where you just bypass because you don't know how it really works (like help). But it's free help, so really splitting hairs there....

When I go to layer > layer library and select an option, the same error appears for all of the choices: "Object could not be loaded." Any idea why?

sounds like you need a more current monitor...with better resolution

Enrique Fernández try pressing ctrl and minis it zooms out a bit so I can see the whole 1200px screen on my desktop

Thé repeat image is used for when you use a tiny image as a pattern that can repeat without anyone seeing the cut in between

When I click save or preview it says bad request. Is this because I haven't purchased a starter, enthusiast or professional package?
