Halcyon 2020 Chenin Blanc
Our Halcyon (pronounced hal-see-on) 2020 Chenin Blanc comes from the Swartland region of South Africa, a sustainable growing region that is referred to as the “Cape Floral Kingdom”. This is an UNESCO biodiversity zone, the smallest and richest of the six Floral Kingdoms in the world, with a majority of its plants not found anywhere else. Chenin Blanc is one of the most popular white varietals in the region. It offers a combination of floral and fruity aromas, including pear, lime, lemon, apple, guava and grapefruit. This stainless-steel-fermented wine provides a smooth attack with citrus and acidity. This low-to-medium intensity Chenin Blanc is easy to enjoy.

Figurative 2022 Allegory
Muscat of Hamburg is one of forty siblings in the Muscat family. It is a cross between Muscat of Alexandria and Trollinger. Its grapes are black and shiny, which if left to macerate will darken the wine’s color. Our Figurative 2022 Allegory reveals a rich nose from the esters formed during fermentation. This Muscat showcases fragrances of rose, lychee, mango and ripe pineapple. The aromatic palate expands in the mouth, adding lime, lemon and watermelon flavors. There is sweetness in the attack with a round mouthfeel. This wine is refreshing with a hint of acidity and an intense, syrupy finish. Allegory has a medium length and can be enjoyed by itself or with simple finger foods.

Elance Cellars 2021 Chardonnay
Our Elance 2021 Chardonnay was produced in central Lodi. We have sourced from this sustainable vineyard for the past five vintages. The grower’s dedication to detail shines through in this Chardonnay. The nose offers a combination of floral and fruity aromas, as well as daffodil, honeysuckle, and ripe pear, apple and cherry. This crisp wine was fermented in stainless steel tanks with some oak influence toward the end of ageing. The mouth has citrus notes of lemon and grapefruit, as well as a mineral component in the mid-palate. This is a medium-intensity wine with a smooth finish.

Above 2021 Cabernet Sauvignon
Our new Above Cabernet Sauvignon is made from sustainable grapes from the Lodi appellation. The winegrowing practices directly impact the flavors and structure of this wine, such as its deep, rich purple color. This wine already shows some maturity with dark fruit like blueberry, black currant, prune and blackberry. The oak treatment reveals toasted vanilla and licorice, while the mouth displays red fruit notes and layered tannins from the mid-palate to the finish. This wine will continue to loosen, revealing a strong yet balanced Cabernet Sauvignon.

Dusk California Star
Our new Dusk Shooting Star with a limited edition rainbow label bursts with a colorful rainbow of red fruit, tannins and sweetness. The Petit Verdot and Syrah influence this red blend with a deep, dark, rich color in the glass. This wine offers aromas of cherry, blackberry and black currant followed by mature notes of tobacco, dark chocolate and toasted oak. It has a fruity and tannic attack in the mouth followed by some sweetness which develops in the mid-palate. The mouthfeel is balanced and round. Dusk Shooting Star will be a delight to sip under the stars next to your backyard fire pit.

Monarch 2020 Merlot
This Merlot from Lodi received an oak treatment to enhance the mouthfeel and longevity of the wine. The nose is powerful with deep, extracted aromas of prune, blackberry and cherry. There are also lingering tobacco and chocolate notes in the finish. In the mouth, the attack is filled with raspberry and blueberry characters, followed by layers of tannins building from the fruit and oak. The nuances come from the toast levels, which ranged from medium-plus to heavy. The tannic crescendo embellishes the mouthfeel and finish. This beautiful wine shows exactly what sustainably-grown Merlot grapes can achieve.
