Thanos not only beat Galactus, Eon and the Stranger, but also in addition against Mephisto, Death, Love, Hate, One Above All (Celestial), Ziran the Tester, Kronos, Master Order, Lord Chaos, when they all attacked Thanos together all at once, after Thanos was betrayed by Death. These channels don't do proper research, considering the IG event was one of the biggest and well loved in Marvel comics.
@@alanguages i might be wrong but didn't the mad celestials kill Galactus too? Thanos bodied the whole celestial pantheon and essentially everyone of note in the universe, in probably one of the most popular marvel storylines ever written, so I really cant take this guy's research seriously.
@@alanguages There are several debates about its nature, but the TOAA is a representation of the writer’s will. As in, the writer who writes the comic from our real world. So whatever happens in any Marvel-related media canonically happens because TOAA wills/allows it. Thanos absorbing it happens because it allowed it, and had it served the story, it would have taken away all the powers that Thanos thought he had acquired. It didn’t because TOAA exists outside of the concept of time and was already aware of how the story would play out (since the writer was) and just played along, even if the canon may contradict this. TOAA is an entity that cannot be defeated by any force originating from the comic universe. A writer can have Aunt May beat it to a pulp with a baseball bat, but unless Aunt May walks right out of the comic into the real world with a baseball bat to beat the shit out of the Marvel staff (which would raise a whole different set of questions), then this will not be an instance of Aunt May beating TOAA.
In an old marvel zombie comics universe the zombies ate galatics and the watcher put their universe into an endless loop. So i am kinda surprised they left out his desth at the jaws of the zombies.
I almost stopped watching the video when it was stated that Thanos couldn’t beat Galactus even with the infinity stones. Then I rationalized. This video must be talking about the MCU Thanos. Because in the comics, Thanos slapped everybody while he had the Infinity Gems, except The One Above All & The Living Tribunal.
It was mentioned that Galactus is vulnerable to certain forms of magic...At one point (during the same story-arc in which Reed Richards saved Galactus' life) Dr. Strange used a magic spell on Galactus that caused him to remember & feel the deaths of every single being that Galactus had devoured over the course of time...Simultaneously. Strange used that spell when Galactus was otherwise attending to other super-beings that were attacking him physically (yeah, pretty useless but still potentially distracting), so Galactus was caught off guard by the mental shock.
So he basically did a spell version of the penance stare on Galactus? It is a magical power and strange should be able to conjure it without ghost rider powers or maybe he gave himself ghost rider powers for the moment.
@@DeathBYDesign666 It should be noted that Galactus had just finished defending the Earth from a different threat. The only reason Galactus agreed to it was because Reed Richards rescinded the vow that kept Earth safe from Galactus' hunger. After Galactus saved the Earth, he was literally starving for energy & decided to consume Earth. That was when Earth's heroes had to fight him & when Dr. Strange used that spell. It's still not certain that the spell would have worked on Galactus if he was still at his normal strength/power level.
@@MidnightDStroyer Actually Galactus has been observed to by greatly proficient in the ability to control magical power, he had absorbed most of the dark Dimension before it caused a destabilizing of the laws of physics in which Galactus has control over through his power cosmic or whatever. He isn't as vulnerable to magic as he is susceptible to its influence on him, it can't actually hurt him otherwise. That was a cool story btw, we actually got to see a version of Galactus and dormammu merged together and it was badass honestly.
I hope the mcu gets thanos level cgi for galactus when they finally do him. I really want to get that sweet spot of suspension of disbelief so we can all get absorbed in our childhood daydreams in live action.
This should have been the mcu next big bad you set him up in eternals and being birthed from the skrull planet after the kre killed most of them: being in eternals they need a host planet full of life to be born galactus is born 0:01 underdeveloped and 0:01 hungers, then you set up silver surfer to build the stakes and establish how powerful G is. It still allows for the secret wars storyline
so he's like those blue gals from mass effect then. they are theorized to appear different to each race, so to maximize the potential for good mating stock. We see them as Humanoid because we play as a Human character.
There is one question Id really like to know the answer of that I think the video should adress in an update. I would like to know how often does Galactus need to eat ? Once a year ? Once a month .. its never been specified ... I understand that he is always hungry but theres got to be a time when he is sated .. even for a day or so. Any ideas ?
In one particular comic book it was established that one to two planets a month would just barely sustain him from going mad with hunger. Now the key word is (sustain), take us for example (humans) we can be starving for close to a week and a tiny sandwich could probably keep us from dying from hunger, however we could probably eat a bakers dozen (13) worth of sandwiches or more. The key thing about the big G is the reason why he's always hungry and never satisfied is he could probably eat a couple of dozen or more planets. And in marvel comics I don't think it's ever been established if he's ever been full/sustained truly because there's never been a universe with that many planets close to each other. Now I might be wrong cause I'm sure there's bunches of comics that I've never read, and I'm sure there's plenty of comic nerds out there that's way more informed than me. But anyway, I hope that gives you somewhat of an answer to your question. And believe it or not there's a whole lot of people that's asked that same question over the years, me including.
Galactus and I have the same name,I was about 10 when I found out Galactus real name was Galen!! And knowing the power he has...gave me alot of Mojo🤗 and motivation

Why do you use ai art when there’s literally thousands of amazing drawn images of galactus. I genuinely like your channel, your very informative and your editing is amazing it just bums me out to see you cheapen out when making the thumbnail
What people don't seem to understand, after all these years, is that Galactus isn't *evil* , he's not a bad guy. He consumes planets because otherwise he dies, and according to many "marvel gods" - Galactus must continue to exist because he is an important piece of the chessboard that is the universe. When the FF4 with the Avengers was close to killing Galactus, Reed Richards was approached by these gods in a psycic vision, they showed him that Galactus was too important to kill - and thus , Reed Richards persuaded the rest of the heroes to spare Galactus. I even recall that Reed Richards built a machine that could feed Galactus the energy he needed, thus making him not having to eat planets.
I honestly used to own this very comic of Marvel that featured the birth of Galactus!! Honestly cannot find it because I lost it when I was a teenager at some point! damn!

Cause power-level wise he's ten times stronger than Kang and Thanos combined, but I think their holding out on him cause their needs to be way, way more cosmic level heroes established B4 they introduce the planet eating big baddie. And the MCU is basically just starting to introduce them little by little. But when the big G does finally get to debut I only pray they don't make him a one off villain, or even worse display him as a shadow cameo like they did in the original fantastic four movie sequel all those years ago. With his omega level powers, he deserves the same if not more respect than Kang or Thanos got. But I guess only time will tell.
@@justaguy105 I don't know, from what I hear their just going to replace Johnathan majors and keep the Kang character going forward. I guess the point I'm getting to is just because an actor is going through a shit load of legal issues, they won't cut the character he's portraying but just replace his ass. Besides from what I gathered, Marvel doubled down on the Kang train and its too late to switch to another big baddie.

Waitin my whole life to see Galactus on the big screen and i do not count the Fantastic 4 microsoft 98 cloud.
Marvel did convey galactus on big screen in FF2 rise of silver surfer..he was seen as cosmic dust and tentacles and silver surfer referred to himself as a servant of a larger master ...
Galactus actual size would be SOOOOOOO OOOO much waaaaayyyy bigger than they ever show him in the comics. The entire earth wo ld be like the size of his eye ball. He would be millions of miles tall....
0:38 That is patently false. Thanos beat Eon, the Stranger and Galactus at the same time quite easily with the gauntlet. IG#5
I remember in annihilation that Thanos help capture Galactus and attach him to a ship to us him as a weapon.
@@alanguages that was absolutely horrible writing and everyone wants to forget about it. So stupid it makes ppl sick to think about it.

He can't be called as a Monster he was broken and also was forced to eat planets or would perish😢
Galacta is the Raven of the Marvel Universe
Im learning so much. That armor thing with Galactus is fascinating. Also Galacta seens like a fun read.
considering how powerful Galactus is, he really does get smacked about a lot.
Loved the Nerdsplaining
Galactus is so cool!😃😁
In Rise of the Silver Surfer he was a massive cloud. And the Surfer destroyed him which of course could never happen.
In an old marvel zombie comics universe the zombies ate galatics and the watcher put their universe into an endless loop.
So i am kinda surprised they left out his desth at the jaws of the zombies.
Jack Kirby did an origin of Galactus in an issue of Thor in late 1960s or early 1970s.
If Galactus was the result of Galan merging with his multiverse's Infinity, wouldn't that give him the powers of all the Infinity stones?
‘Writer John Byron…’ Lol 😂 5:06
Glactus went from being a bad ass to just being a stepping stone
That's crazy though. Stan Lee really put Abraxes the Ancient Demon in Galactus' story.
Truly informative
Barely discovered your page. Good shit.
One of my favorite is Galactus.
I d be pissed if someone called me Galacticus, unprovoked.
😂😂😂😂
Would you be mad enough to eat a whole planet?
@@silentpoet75 I'm on the paleo diet, so I guess...YES!
I love that every time he said that plates were as big as half of his head he proceeds to show images where the planets are clearly much smaller
MCU should make a Galacticus Movie with his herald’s
He And Unicron Would Be Great Friends
I hope the mcu gets thanos level cgi for galactus when they finally do him. I really want to get that sweet spot of suspension of disbelief so we can all get absorbed in our childhood daydreams in live action.
"Eternal and infinity"? I assume you meant "Eternity" when you first mentioned him?...and it's pronounced John "BURN" (Byrne), NOT "Byron".
The observation of Galactus defining his physical representation sounds like how Schrodinger quantum mechanics
Wow
I didnt knew about galacta
I really hope we gonna see her in movies
so he's like those blue gals from mass effect then. they are theorized to appear different to each race, so to maximize the potential for good mating stock. We see them as Humanoid because we play as a Human character.
Ben Grim to Johnny Storm: "Ya don't send a get well card to a guy who tried to eat your world like a snack" 🤣😂
So the cosmic cloud makes more sense now.
Did I just here dude say "Galacticus"?
Just feed his hunger with the infinity stones. 😂😂😂
He actually tried that; the stones are poison to him.
Kinda stupid how he has all this power within him but still needs to eat
That's because he requires energy.
@@shawn092182 yeah but he’s full of energy
@@william69952 he uses the energy and needs to replenish it from celestial eggs that have cosmic energy..not that complicated

I would like to see galactus in a movie someday.
Yep… He’s the sh*t!!! 🔥🔥🔥
Now this is interesting

Wow
Energy, bones, organs and blood, eh? So everything a human is made of.
This dude is the equivalent of a hangover after a night of heavy drinking

NOW I LIKE THIS VOICE💚
And believe it or not there's a whole lot of people that's asked that same question over the years, me including.
galacticus?
Galactus and I have the same name,I was about 10 when I found out Galactus real name was Galen!! And knowing the power he has...gave me alot of Mojo🤗 and motivation
This video needs some serious editing about Galactus, half the stories presented here are wrong and the "The Trial of Read Richards" sums up what Galactus is and why he is needed in the universe.
I agree. Sounds like some one that doesn’t do research.
EPIC PRONUNCIATION @7:18 Galactus-SES body compriSES of

I love Ultima alliance two, but I swear to God they should have just made a sequel about Galactus
Ghost Rider one shot Galactus with a cosmic guilt trip.
Honestly cannot find it because I lost it when I was a teenager at some point! damn!
It's really weird on depending on who tells the story Galactus is probably a 10 ten cosmic being capable of beating Thanos with the Infinity Gauntlet Thanos took out most of the Cosmic beings including Galactus and Eternity I'm 44 years old and still read the original
I eat potatoes. You may address me as Potatous! Devourer of Potatoes! And My familiar, Gordo, gleefully serves as my herald. Jet black fur with glowing green eyes, he possesses the Power Feline!
So, who wants tuna?:)
The big G, needs to be the MCU,s big baddie after Kang in my opinion.
Don't have to worry about Kang now...
@@justaguy105 I don't know, from what I hear their just going to replace Johnathan majors and keep the Kang character going forward. I mean technically they have replaced many actors that they didn't agree with, or that passed away. I mean look what they did to the first actor who played James Rhodes or even the first two actors who played Bruce Banner. And now sadly they're replacing William Hurt because of untimely passing. I guess the point I'm getting to is just because an actor is going through a shit load of legal issues, they won't cut the character he's portraying but just replace his ass. Besides from what I gathered, Marvel doubled down on the Kang train and its too late to switch to another big baddie.
@@stevenbryant9097
Honestly though... think anyone would even notice? This franchise has been on sputtering cruise control all through phase four. Most of the fans stopped caring when the writers did
I thought Marvel/Disney was supporting Majors regarding his legal issues?
With the recent evidence supporting his position, I don't think that he will be replaced by another actor nor Kang is being replaced by another villain.
Thanos with the infinity gauntlet beat galactus. How is it possible that you don’t know this?
What a incredible plot armor.
In the King Thanos story, Galactus teams up with ghost rider to fight against Thanos. Galactus head was cut off in one blast and his skull was made into a chair.
