Very impressive Bike isolating the headlight is a good idea when the law changed that we had to ride with the headlight on all the time i had a new Yamaha and that charging system wasnt designed to keep the battery up at full charge so it was a slow drain and eventually the battery would get too weak to start that bike with the starter luckily it still had a kick starter but the bike didnt like to run with a dead battery so i used to go straight home to put the battery on a charger BTW the bike was my daily rider for work and i used to bring it into the dealership who told me its charging like its supposed to i found out that basically the d manufacturers just spliced in the light into the previous years harness to be legal I did eventually need to Put my own switch in and take a chance not getting busted by the cops during the day time i had several other motorcycles from tha era and it was a consistent issue with all of them BTW early 1980s and I still like that weird styling from that time mostly because i was old enough to buy my first new Motorcycle on my own which i of course did always regretted not picking up a new Ninja which was for some time the fastest production bike of that time i did test ride one but i knew that it would be too dangerous for me as i liked Speed and was a bartender who sometimes had a few drinks during a shift and would go a little too fast some nights ! And i wasnt that into the Sports Bikes but more of a Cruiser style

Cool! I like the automatic rear brake pedal action at about the 3:35 point too!

Love the bike man. I had a question about the front end. Did you find one inch bearings or is the stem 7/8? I’m having a hard time finding a springer for my CB750A. Thank you .

I made the neck so it fit the Harley Style cups. The motor in that bike was titled on the engine number.

You may have answered this in one of the previous build videos but I have a question. What setup are you using for the choke on the carbs? Im working on my brothers 400a and eliminating as much as possible from the tree.

The mikuni carbs each have their own lever choke built into the carb.
