when comparing the relationship of the moon to earth try using diameter, mass or volume rather than 'size' as they are all different. It's diameter is about 27% of the earth but it's mass is just over 1% so 2 of your answers are both correct
Hahaha, glad it made you laugh! I bet it happens way too often everywhere though. But as long as it is not “your job” you’re all good 😂 Thanks a lot for your comment, cheers!
By volume, the 2% is best for the moon. The question doesn't specify what we're measuring. And by mass, it would be 1.2% Several other questions were technically incorrect or ambiguous. There was nothing I could not answer before consulting the options except most chromosomes per organism. (trivia) 19 of 20.
Measuring volume compared to the Earth, if the Earth was a 4 liter bottle of water for example, the moon would be a 1 liter bottle. So you think the moon is 1/50 the size of Earth by your comment, not sure where you get that the Moon's mass is 1.2% of Earths either, it is easy to work out the mass of the moon, just a basic equation.
@@Jinn174 Really? What's that basic equation? If you don't know the moon's density, you're gonna have fun with that. The moon's mass has been measured in other ways. I'm quoting those figures. Also 4 liters to 1 liter would... 1/4 the size... Yes, it is 1/50 the size by volume.
This was the loosest question and gave me 13 instead of 14 (!) as I did not have the linear answer either, but the question variety was fun and I learned a couple of things along the way.
@@Jinn174 So you're saying the moon is 1/4 the earth's volume? No it isn't. Volume of a sphere is 4/3*pi*r^3. The moon's volume is on the order of 10^9 cubic miles and the earth is on the order of 10^11 cubic miles. Just looking at the powers of 10, there's no way the moon is 25% earth's volume. And please tell us what that simple equation is for mass. I can't take your word for it considering that you've screwed up everything else.
That's the same as saying a tennis ball is 31% the size of a soccer ball since a tennis ball's d=6.86cm and a soccer ball's d=22cm. The correct statement is; the size/volume of the Moon is 2% of the Earth's volume. Or, the size/mass of the Moon is 1.2% of the Earth's mass. I assumed they meant mass. I knew the gravity on the moon is about a sixth of the earth so I assumed it was a sixth of the mass, ie 16.66 percent. As the nearest was 18 percent I chose that.
The difference between size and volume does matter, and I like some others assumed diameter. However, I'd say "no" to mass as as option because we would in that context normally refer to an "amount" of mass, not a "size" of mass: Applied to mass, "size" is usually a characteristic (e.g., "a sizeable mass"), or, to put it another way, used to describe a quality, not a quantity.

12/20.
Great quiz👍🏼
17/20 Enjoyed your quiz. I did pause on many to think some through. 😀👍
@Peter White Either did I. We learned something new.
15/20 enjoyed your questions quiz and thank you ma'am 😃😃😃👍👍👍
I found that one very hard. 7/20. Great quiz.
Good quiz. I missed 4. Thanks for the music!
What about first question, it's not copper the right answer
16/20 but I'm ashamed to say I got the Newtonian question wrong.
You are not alone.
Thank u this helpad me in my iq sci exam 😊😇
14/20. That was a tough and fair quiz. I would like many more like this.
The moon is 2% of the size of the earth. The word size is the problem. If you were to ask me the size of two baseball bats, that is most often a linear concern.. A sphere however is a cubic object, 3 dimensions. The moon is 2% of the size of the earth.
Got 15/20. I had a few problems with language. I'm Italian and studied in Italian terms are often similar, but sometimes totally different. However I figured nearly everything. Only 1 error, I think, could be because of language
Thank you so much teacher/maam for teaching us students this topic,we thought this topic is hard but there here you are teaching us an effective way to prepare exams,do homeworks, and many others more.Really aprreciate hard work may god bless you😊
I usually count the ones i get wrong. Not this time. I'm not playing anymore :)
Hahaha! This quiz is, I believe, the hardest one on my channel. So, quite understandable if anyone would refuse to do it 🤣 I appreciate your comment, thanks!
LOL!!
My 7 questions are correct
Got 10.Glad I got them!!Learned a lot!!!
Excellent quiz. I got 12 of 20. Not great, but not embarrassing. I'm going to try history next.
That last question strayed outside of science bounds.
No it didn't.
I only got five. That’s better than I thought I would do-science isn’t my bag. I only took four science courses in my entire schooling, and I flunked one of them.
I only stayed for the jazz. 😂 Michael Del Brown at the end there. Good taste.
*The correct answer to #20 is "The Leftist Effect"*
Well said!
17/20
I found the moon question a bit ambiguous. One or 2 others were a bit niche but all in all, a r nice quiz. Thanks!
Yeah, me too.
And in question 4 you don't have to go down to 1. You can stop at 2.
I am no scientist, but I consider myself to be fairly well read in the arena of science and I got 9 right although there were a couple that I got right and then changed my mind, gotta learn to trust my instinct. That was a truly testing Quiz, which makes a change on YT, I usually find myself getting 80%+ on these so called hard quizzes.
Slipped up on just a couple. Didn't know that diamond was the best heat conductor. Interesting.
Ahhhhh!
I got 9 correct and guessed correctly in 3-4 of them. It's quite hard quiz but anyways got to learn so many new things today.
I got 7/20
I study in class 9. I'm from India. My age is just 14 😎😎. I love to study physics, chemistry and maths.
Good Quiz! Thank You!
I put this video back to normal speed just to hear Canon in D.
9 right but pleased. great quiz
I am now in 5 class but I got 20 out of 16 quiz correct Thankyou This video fresh my mind 😀
14/20 I never knew some of them but I learned new things 🥰🥰
"Your job" was a funny one. But the quiz is like a 25% basic science quiz and a 75% random facts quiz. Still got a 100%.
Wow that's amazing
Buh " your job" wasn't the answer they chose right
😢am far behind that even though am science student
A tough quiz, to be sure. I got about 12 right, but I may well be flattering myself! I am still reeling over the fact a diamond is a good conductor of heat and poor conductor of electricity. Gee whiz, I feel as if someone just proved that von Karajan was a bad conductor of Beethoven! I don't care much about anemophily (which I stumbled into correctly, given the choices), but wow. Thanks. 😸
I got 17 right. A couple were educated guesses and one was a flip the coin guess. Good quiz.
Thats cheating
I only got 10, but thanks for the quiz!❤❤❤
You failed question 2 by not defining "size." In comparing the sizes of Earth and Moon, I felt that volume made more sense than diameter. Would you seriously say that a basketball is only a little more than 3 times the size of a baseball? Of course not. But a baseball is 3 inches in diameter and a basketball 9.4 inches.
