Competition is so different from learning a subject for the sake of learning and discovering. Its an arrogant thing that hinders learning and makes you focus on trying to be no.1 and boastful/unhappy with your results, rather than focus on the subject itself
Erm, no. If that is happening then the teacher is encouraging the wrong attitude. A mildly competitive environment will improve performance and helps students be the best that they can be.
oxidation is what oxygen is when your garden tools rust, or your apple goes brown. oxidisation is what happens . So, in grammatical terms, one is active, one is passive.
@@rachelgray9307 I looked it up. It's a British usage. It made me wonder because in thirty-five years as a professional chemist I had never heard the word oxidisation until now.
Re Q40: Galileo published his findings from studies through his telescope, that Nicolaus Copernicus' theory of a heliocentric solar system was correct. Galileo confirmed Copernicus, he did not formulate the theory. It is true that the Roman Catholic Church condemned Galileo for this just as it had condemned Copernicus almost 100yrs earlier. He was placed under house arrest until his death not long afterwards.
oxidation is what oxygen is doing to iron when your garden tools rust, or your apple goes brown. oxidisation is what happens to the iron. So, in grammatical terms, one is active, one is passive.
13 mistakes, hard, it was all in English. There was one mistake in the quiz, they gave the name "potassium" to Kalium. And they forgot about plasma, the 4th stage of matter.
I think you mean that the 7th element should be Og? It’s still under research on wether it should actually be part of the noble gases because it’s made artificially and it doesn’t last for more than a second, I think barely one second
due to not remembering names of people that discovered or proved things.... 27/40 but a lot of "oh yeah thats right" but would offer these corrections. "measuring electricity" is done in a few ways. "amps" is one way, but if you check your meter on the side of the house or your bill, its measured in watts, when plugging things in its in volts, or how strong a battery is is in volts, or converters is in volts. amps is most commonly used in measuring how long a battery will last (x amount of amp hours) but even that is changing with the more modern tech in EV batteries using kWh (kilowatt hours) amps is only PART of the formulation. voltsXamps=watts. so any would work but if only one could be used it would be the sum of the first two being in watts. and its oxidation not oxidization. oxidization is what happens to your paint on the car when its left in the sun to long...
Lots of questions about things I don't want to know about. I don't care about the name of persons who discovered this or that. And I am certainly not a competitive person who gets happy/sad/arrogant/humiliated with my results. Just ❤ science and learning that's all. A competition is not necessarily going to have questions about the areas of science you're interested in anyway. Competition ruins everything. Its an arrogant thing that causes tears and has an unfair way of scoring/rating you. ie; in gymnastics competitions the scoring system basically just awards points to military trained robots, and gymnasts are hardly awarded any points for art, no matter how much art/balletic art they put into it. Then they're made to feel bad. This is sadly how ie the Russians have been treated by the arrogant west for decades. Science shouldn't be about who gets to the moon FIRST, it should be about THE MOON. Patriotism/competition shouldn't even come into it
30/40. Good distribution of questions.
Really enjoyed that.
I got 34 and was pleased with my attempt.
I got only 34. Good quiz. Thank you
8/40 very hard ouiz class 9th now i know where i am after reading the comments
Don't believe everything you read in a comments section.
Yes, I enjoyed it.
In the last question the theory belonged to Copernicus and not Galileo.
now this is the way a quiz should be done
35 😊
Well,I missed 4 oh dear,!🇺🇸🇺🇸🇺🇸🇺🇸
Gratefully, for great education
Score 33/40
32/40 I'm ok with it
Well done excellent score
@@UltimateQuizzes Thank You!
I am grade three 37 over 40❤❤❤❤❤❤❤
40 out of 40
Cap
38 out of 40 pretty good
There are seven noble gases
Helium Neon Argon Krypton Xenon Radon and Ogannesson
Thanks, didn't know that!
31/40 first time over 30!
Well done, these aren’t easy. I find multiple choice quizzes a lot easier

I remember all these questions and answers from school
Awesome
With lots of science in my vocabulary, I only managed to get 32 out of 40 (hard quiz indeed!)
So basically your motive for learning science is to be competitive and boastful.
DNA!!
That was my automatic response. Genome is a better answer.
this quiz is easy
35/40. I should have got more of the "history" ones correct.
Got 32
Is it Oxidisation or Oxidation? Do those Brits add an extra syllable?
Yeah that's what I'm about to ask tho😂
Kind of like aluminium i suppose.
@@donaldclifford5763 Now I'm wondering. I'm going to find some British chemists around here.

32/40. Good quiz. Quite pleased with my result as I am an artist but with general interest in all sorts of things. 🇬🇧👍
you beat me 😞
Thanks
Thank you for watching
I only got 37 out of 40 😞., but thank you 🙏 , for this video.
That's quite good!
"ONLY"!!! JFC, false humility is really ugly.
#25 Gaseous! "Gas" is the matter itself. Gaseous is the "state" it is in.
21/40 grade 8 here

It not difficult, it could be more difficult
25/40 👍😃
Well done!!!!
Very thorough science quiz. I think I did pretty good, 31/40 correct.
Same here. 10 seconds was cutting it a bit close for me...
14% I thought
Hi, excellent you did not over do the background music.
I got 30/40. I am just studying in class 9 ,but i was able to answer almost only 30 questions correct😅
The process of iron to it's oxide is oxidation not oxidis(z)action.
British?
There's difference between American English and British English, you must be an American
India speaks British English so we usually use 'S' instead of 'Z'
oxidation is what oxygen is doing to iron when your garden tools rust, or your apple goes brown.
oxidisation is what happens to the iron.

23 number answer is wrong right answer is gravitational force.
It’s oxidation, not oxidisation
Omay God I got 0 over 40 hehe
