just found this channel and I was going to joke, "now put it back", but the madlad did that at the end!
I find it kind of cool that the purple color on this phone isn’t just external but makes up the entire inside frame of the phone. I’m getting the 24 plus on the 5th, this is the color I had to choose since the white was sold out for pre order.
I was going to get the Sand Orange, but it wasn't released for another week, so I got the Violet. It looks better than the photos show, it's so nice.
im sure this channel is like no other tear down channel right when he said "but im a rebel", then that explosion made me press the subs, like, and comment. So yeah, i enjoyed it.

As I have the S24+, the battery temperature resister is amazing. The phone does heat up when you play high-end games, but not as burning hot compared to the old phones that don't have that.

omg, thank you for talking about sticking the sim jack tool into the microphone hole. got my s24 brand new and did it twice already and was worried if I had damaged something doing it. I'm glad it didn't cause any damage like you said. tested the mic and it works properly. laughed out loud when you cut to the bomb after letting the battery hit - hilarious

Hello, tell me, I wanted to insert a SIM card and used a needle to poke the hole from the microphone. Now I'm worried that I damaged it.
It dosent.
It is deep inside and is perpendicular to direction you inserted the pin
Where is the internal memory situated? I've heard that all the different size memory veriants of the phone is the same they just change it in the software to make the memory smaller or bigger. Is that true?
Came here to check out what was going on inside the bottom microphone hole, and watched the whole clip. It answered my query near the end, but I hung on in there as it was fascinating, and followed too. I was asked to take out the Sim by Vodafone in an on line chat, when trying to get mobile data up and running, and in haste, poked the prong in the wrong hole with fairly firm force, as I was wondering why the sim didn’t pop out (I suspect I am not the first to do this, and will definitely not be the last, as it seems too close and similar a feature to not happen often).
Yes that's why i'm here too, brand new phone and sure enough put the sim tool in the mic hole.
I watched your video you uploaded 6 hours ago. Even though I prefer Android phones and tablets designed from 2008-2020, I will try restoring a Samsung Galaxy S9+ my dad had over the years. The other one my mom had is still in good condition, unfortunately the battery may need to be replaced.

wonder if you can use the bottom piece of a A53, that has the micro sd card and simcard?.
You would have to wire it up to the usb port, with a switch, it would involve some engineering

i have a weird idea, i'm planning to hotswap the daugtherboard which consisting the USB C Port and the sim slot + SD card/sim slot from A55. One of the problem is the form factor of the component itself. Have you ever had a weird idea to customized this phone with SD card feature in it? because samsung has turned into iphone this time.
Rumor has it, Samsung made a decent chip this go around ...
just got s21 and wanted to make a clear back and im wondering if u know if theres any clear case that wont become yellow after some time
DBrand make a non yellowing case, but I don't think they offer it for the S21

I just checked GSMArena and it does list Proximity in the list of Sensors. Where did you read this?

dumb idea: since you made usb-c on the iphone 13, why not do some reverse psychology and put a lightning port into the s24?
8:15 I'm glad you said you cant hurt the microphone by inserting the sim tool in the microphone hole, opened my new phone and put a screen protector on it and put the sim tool in the microphone hole by mistake and thought damn just screwed up my new phone and I thought who was the idiot that thought putting the hole for the sim card and the microphone hole next to each other.

Enjoyed the video. I tried out the S24+ in the store a few days ago, but honestly, and this is coming from a big tech nerd, there's like almost nothing new to these phones it seems. The galaxy AI is cool, but after a while that effect also wore off very quickly. I personally have an S22+ and the size is almost identical. I didn't even notice the higher resolution again on the s24. I will gladly keep my S22+ for years to come.
Tbh the S24 series is underwhelming and exynos is a dealbreaker when we all know snapdragon gen 3 is much better.
@@John99YT all phone launches have felt underwhelming to me, even the foldables. Tech has become boring for me, and I think it's a shame, since I was a huge tech fan a few years ago

Yeah tbh it's been 2yrs that I've had my S22, and the only upgrades the S24 has is 10% more battery, and a brighter screen. Other than minor processor upgrades which I probably won't notice. So I'm not actually that interested in switching.
@@RestoreTechnique I'm still on my S21 ultra. The S21 series has better haptics. I'm thinking to buy xiaomi or iPhone next time

The Exynos 2400 is actually comparable to the Snapdragon this year, not less powerful. In fact the GPU out performs the Gen 3!

OIS, Optical Image Stabilisation. It means the lens has stabilisation to reduce vibration and bumping in your footage. More steady.
