○ Front of Hairline to nape of neck (over top of head)= 12.75" (average is 14.25")

I agree with you Denise, I find hand-tied cooler because wefted caps generally have more bulk and the permatease traps the heat, but some medium-length, light density wefted bob, with no permatease, can also be suitable for summer. In my opinion wefted human hair can be very cool and breathable thanks to the natural fibers and the absence of permatease, but it also depends on the density, some HH wigs are heavy. One thing I don't like about the hand-tied cap is that I have to be extra careful not to damage it with hairpins, but it surely is light and comfortable.

I find hand tied caps to be much cooler. I also find regular synthetic to be the coolest. Jon Renau hand tied seem the coolest of all.

Thanks, Denise, for a very well-thought-out, comprehensive comparison video! I have recently had the good fortune to be able to buy a hand-tied wig and I agree with all the points you made. Another difference between hand-tied and wefted caps is that I find the cleaning requirements are different: Hand-tied wigs need extra TLC when washing to minimize the possibility of those little knots loosening and the fibers falling out of the cap.

Hi, Denise. What is your opinion on the difference and fit if any? I have the original dalgona 16 and it’s way too big for my head. Do you think the hand tie version would fit tighter?

Appreciate you so much. Ordered the original. Just like you said, I wear my hair down and part on left and it’s my 1st order. So start at Delgona 16 original in mocha with cream. Oh, shoot did I order right color 🤔 That is one thing on this wig journey… the color hunt, micro swatch, confusion is real and ridiculous! Even looking at picture on the website they don’t even tell you the color wig on the very few couple pictures they have. Or they go by these # that you have to scroll up, down, back… does it match this one, is that a picture of this micro swatch that you can only get the name to pop up if click on them individually 😂 It is torture!!!!

Great information!! I like both of these caps. When I’m able to get a hand-tied cap I will but, if not, I’m okay with a wafted cap. I do like the monofilament features but I have many traditional cap wigs that I love. I love them all🤣😂😅 As for which one is cooler, I think that depends on the person…and even on the wig. I don’t find any of them to be uncomfortable😍 Loved this video♥ Thanks Denise🙏😁💐
