I've just purchased the Evolux 62. It came without instructions. There are no PDFs on your site. What do I need to use this for visual? Can I attach a 2" to 1.25" inch adapter to it and use a 1.25" diagonal and ocular? Do I need to purchase a 2" diagonal to use 2" and 1.25" (with adapter) oculars for observing?? Can I install a 2" ocular straight on the back and achieve focus??? I'm not looking to purchase the reducer yet, as I have other scopes with them. I would prefer to use the 1.25" diagonal and oculars I already have .... But I'm willing to buy a 2" if need be. Any help is appreciated. BTW, it might be a good idea to prepare instructions for your products. My Evoguide50 had them. I was surprised this refractor did not. Thanks for any help.
You can use a 2" diagonal with 1.25" adapter to use eyepieces with the telescope. We recommend 2" diagonals as it allows you to take full advantage of the telescope's 2" focuser.
I noticed the rotator and filter were before the reducer. I have my 3rd party ones after the reducer on my ED80 - does this make any difference to imaging results?
Looks like the pricing is pretty reasonable - but odd that the Evolux 82ed is actually less expensive than the Evostar 80ed - I know, no finder and eyepieces (we were paying for those?), and I assume not quite the same quality glass, but still….
g`day kevin the new telescope line looks great ... looking forward to next fridays show as i am thinking of buying a new scope either a mak 180 or a refactor (appo) i know 2 very different scopes for 2 very different purposes . if possible can you include the mak line up in your show what i am after is sharp optics for visual with a bit of imaging i have the 8"edge sct and i cant decide weather to jump into a refactor or a mak i have only owned a 6" sct and a 8" edge still have both but found both just a little soft in sharpness and detail visually (why i got the edge 8").(yes they are collimated infocus at 432x airy disc) great video kevin always great info hope to catch you live next friday for the great refractor v reflector shootout (so to speak lol) cheers james D

@@SkyWatcherUSA thanks! I did and the views are amazing, particularly with wide field of view eyepieces like the gold line 9mm!

It took about two years from the first announcement, but finally they are available. :) From visual, I guess they should be good as well, right?
Very nice scopes but I was hoping for a video on the Star Adventurer GTI. Looks like I need to be more patient :-)

What glass to the Evolux’s use? I know it’s ED but is it fpl 53?

With "new product announcement" I thought you would present the new STAR ADVENTURER, first units already reached central Europe.
🙂
The GTI version? I didn't know europr already had them
