Day 19 of the Cornwall 500: Started the day at the Cornwall Channel with Shane Solomon in Bodmin, joined by Tamsin and Paul from BBC News. Then headed to The Bodmin Jail Hotel, and finally off to Cornwall Air Ambulance headquarters. Being the penultimate day, it felt like a nice early celebration. 👨‍🦼‍➡️🏆 #HELi2 #TC500 #thecornwall500 PR4Photos
Join us in supporting Steven Webb, former Mayor of Truro and current City Councillor, on his incredible journey through the Cornwall 500 challenge! Steven, who has been paralyzed from the neck down since a diving accident in 1991, is attempting to complete 25 to 30 miles per day, all around Cornwall in his electric wheelchair, raising money for charity.
This inspiring challenge is not just a physical feat but also a way for Steven to give back to the community that helped him fund his life-changing electric wheelchair. Despite living with a life-threatening condition, autonomic dysreflexia, and other health complications, Steven’s determination remains strong.
One of the charities close to Steven’s heart is the Cornwall Air Ambulance, which provides critical emergency services across Cornwall. They are currently running the #HELi2 campaign to raise funds for a second air ambulance, which will help save even more lives.
Support Steven’s mission, help raise awareness, and donate today! Together, we can make a real difference.
