These were fabulous ideas that provide tool control practice and can lend itself to many iterations with slight variations! Going to be part of my "Waiting Room Art" sketchbook!😃

I like how you show different tools for different marks. The pen nib makes all the difference in getting the right look; thank you.

I was eagerly awaiting this video and am so delighted! This is such a simple and undaunting gateway into creating a sketchbook; I could have watched you make marks all day--it was just so soothing. I just bought your mark making kit and am excited to get started. Thank you, Jackie!

I’ll see what I can do. Is there a specific problem you’re having? In the meantime, have you tried all the projects in my Negative Painting Playlist? ua-cam.com/play/PLTtLFdZQpWjDWmCKqSKhVXNwbDPz3fYIi.html&si=8m2tta_FBU1HIU1H

@@JackieHernandezWatercolor is that is a little bit hard to understand why I am covering the next object is it gonna be in the back of the first object ? No I only tried the forest which I love so pretty!

It’s actually backwards with negative painting. Whatever you cover with masking fluid will appear on top/in front in the finished painting. So you mask the foreground objects first, so they stay the lightest. Hope that helps.
