I really feel sorry for f, q and z.
Q ate the ? Gem and saw everything, he wanted to tell everyone, but one disadvantage to him, he was just too slow.
F lost his only friend, n, and he was betrayed really badly, he really deserved better
Z watched the entirety of what happened to F, and he was crying because he had never seen anything so horrible in all his planetary life.

The continuation of the series is foreshadowed here, not only is the ellipsis there at the end, it's the last thing to disappear, and an ellipsis in a sentence literally means "there's more to come, but you need to wait for it" just like how the epilogue comes after a while
The genius character building through which punctuation F cries: At first he cries the period because he thought that would be it, as the period represents the end of something. Then he cries the colon when he realizes there is more beatdown to come, as the colon implies more is on the way. As such, the next two particles he cries are the comma and then the asterisk, both of which represent multiple parts in a group. Then when N, F's best friend, does not help him, he cries the question mark, because he can't believe what has just happened and questions it. Then, most symbolically, he cries the semicolon, which colloquially means, "My story could have ended here, but it kept going," symbolizing F's new desire for revenge. And lastly, he leaves behind the exclamation point as he runs away to show that he's serious about this, it wasn't beat out of him, he naturally generated it on his own. And of course, to show how this was all planned from the start, the powers that each letter obtained were beat out of F by that very character - L got the period, O got the colon, M got the comma, X got the asterisk, and because N hurt F emotionally, he got the semicolon. (Oh yeah and P got the exclamation point cuz she was there.) By the color, F was supposed to keep the question mark, as that was generated by him alone, but instead he ran off and it was picked up by Q, who by obtaining the question mark, learned the answers to every question surrounding this story, and as such has been trying to warn everyone the whole time, but was too slow and thus couldn't catch up, leading to the the tragic events of the series. So tragic that Z, revealed to be the world that the others inhabit, is in tears, having cried an ellipsis that orbits around it, representing waiting and silence, as Z was powerless to stop any of the calamity that unfolded/would unfold.
You did it. You made a great story using only the alphabet as characters. You have earned the right to catch those Zs.

I didn't even realize the orbs that Z created were supposed to be elipses.
the ending with Z kinda reminds me of the ending of one of Mike's other animations; Jupiter's Red Spot with the Sun at the end looking concered at the events that unfolded.

I like the touch of Z saying Zee-end at the end. Not only does it accomodate both ways of pronouncing Z (zee and zed), but it also sounds like "the end".
Edit: Welp. There's a new video and I was wrong. Now looking at the new video, I've realised that Z doesn't say "Zee-end", he says "Zee-en". And the ellipsis around Z refers to a continued story, and there is no ellipsis in the epilogue, implying no further story. Though the resetted timeline does have a pefect basis for a second series, expecially since that MIke missed out the line "Next time won't you sing with me". But I guess only time will tell.

The saddest part is that the letters that caused all this (L and O) got away Scott free at the end, and anyone who died had no involvement (P) or were tricked (J).
Speaking of J, from his design alone i could already tell he can also do that explosive dot thing that (letter) I can do.
it makes me angry that it panned out that way, angry how much of real life i saw in that detail in particular. but when it finally shows Z, it makes me feel foolish for wanting L, and O to suffer. like i should have just slowed down, and listened to Q. like there could have been justice instead of vengeance.

•F got attacked by everyone else

•The reason H was a ghost is because H smelt the flatulence of L
•Q tried warning everyone about the future
•The power stones were solid tears from F
•Q got the power to predict the future
•The reason F killed some people was because they made him say a swear word
•Z was the planet
Edit: I realise the reason things change at N is because N was in the middle.
Q didn't try to warn them about the gem, he was trying to warn them about *the future*.

I love how f was being a nice friend to other letters except l and o are being jerks to them but I really loved the baby version/ lowercase version of these alphabet lore letters they are so cute!

It finally occurred to me why this video is called nZ instead of just Z. It's because when you sing the alphabet song, it sounds like you're saying "W, X, Y, n Z" instead of "and Z" at the end. Calling the video nZ is a really clever reference to that and I am all here for it

God the sad, slow alphabet song was the perfect choice to wrap all this up. I never would have guessed that Z would be the world, but that's a really cool twist, and the reveal that the punctuation marks were F's tears was bittersweet, especially with Z crying the ellipsis at the end. This whole series completely blew me away. It got so much more emotional than I ever expected, but also stayed funny and whimsical the whole time. This has to be one of my favorite animation projects that I've seen in the last couple years. Watching you upload it little by little has been awesome, and now that you've just uploaded the full thing together, I'm so excited to watch it and share the completed series with people I love.

This episode made me cry
The letters were actually trying to summon the legendary RICK (though "Rick" could mean any number of Ricks, from Rick Astley to Rick Sanchez to William's crush in Invincible to the chicken farmer from Harvest Moon: Mineral Town), but L just happened to shove F in the wrong direction, and ruined their attempts at summoning him. They weren't angry at F for spelling a curse word, they were just angry at him for supposedly ruining their ritual (when it was really L who did it).

3 of the attacks that were on f were used again on other letters
c: he bites him (he does it again and it ends up costing his life)
j: used his dot (aka tittle) (he gets payback by being disintegrated by I's tittle)
d & e: e used d to hit him (F mostly just flapped D around on E, but you get the idea)
I forget to mention:

All the letters were actually 4th to 5th grades.
Some couples were 7th graders,
While some friends like f and n were sixth graders.
They were all born from the cells of Z, the same color of their own selves.
This was an insanely well written emotional journey with all the right plot twists and turns, and it was made with the damn ALPHABET!

i jumped on f during the fight, so F stomped on I in the future.
j blasted f with his dot thing, so F used I to blast J back.
c chomped him, so F must have gotten flashbacks when he did it to him again in the future, which is why he chomped C to death
Im not sure what P and G were about since they were basically not involved in anything in the past.

Every time I see L and O I’m like “O L no!” because it sounds like “oh hell no”
One year later, and that ending still gets me. The slowed down alphabet song with the giant Z to just sit there and see all that pain, but unable to do much about it. I think it's extra sad for me because my name starts with a Z, so im tearing up along with it lol
i loved that the * tears made X multiply since it's a multiplication sign, but then the comma is made while several attacks for F, the question mark is made from F questioning N, the semicolon is made in between the break of F being sad and being angry, and the exclamation mark is made surprising P. truly detailed writing.

Not only did he fail to stand up for F when he was getting beat down, but he didn't even go to visit F when he isolated himself in the mountain, instead choosing to befriend those who had wronged him, joining the enemy.

F was never evil. He just wanted to make friends, but due to the suffering L and O caused him, as well as N's betrayal and cowardice, it broke him, and F began to resent every letter of the alphabet. His murderous rampage, his scary looks, all caused because the alphabet betrayed him. Q tried to warn everyone about his and everyone else’s fate, but due to his slowness he was unfortunately too late. F paid the ultimate price, killed by his only friend N. Meanwhile all Z could do was watch. People have longed for immortality, but Z shows us just how much of a curse such a reward can be, as he could do nothing to stop any of this. F was never evil. The true antagonists were L and O, who were the root cause of the loneliness and resentment F would endure for many years, eventually breaking out into a psychotic rampage.

The way this story is structured made it seem like G was the hero at the start, chasing after F before the gifted letters appeared, but by the end it is shown that the real crux of the story was N and F, which was just a really good, unique progression of the story. Despite showing up later, the story naturally progressed to show who the true main characters were, which doesn't happen in a lot of media.

L: The lowercase baby needs his bottle.
(L and O leave)

F: I need you guys.
T: Huh?
R: Woah.
A: What's happening?
(F, A, R and T get behind L and spell the word "Fart". L accidentally farts)
L: What the?
(B, C, D, E and H show up and start laughing)
H: Hmm...
(H sniffs the fart and collapses. His ghost goes up shortly afterwards)
H: Even in the afterlife, this is pretty hilarious!
F and N: Ha! What a bunch of nincompoops!
L: Oh. That's their gig, ain't it?
O: Let's give those letters what for!
F: Oh no-!
(L and O start beating F up as he starts to cry two Punctuation Gems, a Period Gem and a Colon Gem.
N: What are those?
L: And now for this!
(L pushes F right into R, I, C and K)
O: Everybody! F spelled a bad word!
(The other letters turn to what the letters have spelled)
Y: Oh I can't watch!
(The word they spelled was "Frick". K, C, I and R start to glare at F)
F: Gulp.
(The other letters surround F)
N: I'm scared.
C: You'll pay for getting me involved in this!
(C bites F)
F: Ow!
J: Eat my cannonball dot!
(The cannonball dot flies right into F and breaks his teeth)
F: Ow! My teeth!
(A whole bunch of letters start to beat F up)
I: Take this!
M: M smash!
X: Hiyah!
T: Get a load of my hammer-head!
E: Fore!
(E whacks F with D. F starts to stumble onto N)
F: N! Wait!
(F trips on N and falls backwards)
F (Slow-motion): N!!!
(F falls onto his back)
F: Why... my only friend?
N: I'm so sorry, F. I-
(L, M and O appear behind N)
N: I'm so sorry...
F: N, why?
(F sheds another tear shaped like a question mark)
N: What have I done?
(N hides behind O. F sheds another tear shaped like a semicolon)

(F runs away)

(Cut to P as she kisses G)

P: You're mine, too!
(F runs past G and P and leaves behind an exclamation-point-shaped tear)
P: What's this?
(The Punctuation Gems float around each of the corresponding letters. P gets the Exclamation Gem, X gets the Asterisk Gem, L gets the Period Gem, M gets the Comma Gem, N gets the Semicolon Gem and O gets the Colon Gem. The Question Gem gets flung away from the crowd of letters. Q slithers up to it)
Q: Mmm, food.
(Q eats the Question Gem. All of a sudden, he starts to see the events that will occur in the future. After that, Q looks shocked)
Q: Oh man. Guys!
(Q slowly slithers up to the crowd)
Q: Guys! Guys!!
(Pan over to F Mountain)
F: I guess I'll live here from now on.
(F ambles slowly up to the summit of F Mountain. Cut to N)
N: I can't believe I betrayed my own friend like that.
(Fade to today where F is now a capital letter.
F: I will have my revenge one day.
(Zoom out to reveal everything is on Z, who cries tears shaped like a horizontal ellipsis)

Honestly, the only thing that's saving this scene is the nostalgia. Back when the lore community was calmer and happier. Just that. Nothing else.

The saddest part is that Z had to watch all of the letters fight for their lives and Q was too slow to catch up to the other ones because he saw the future by swallowing the question mark and was traumatized

Q is easily the most tragic character of all of them he tried to save all of them but could never catch up and he's been doing that for his whole life until he finally catches up when it's too late and the future he saw already happened
Yeah but V H and P V had to watch p with a bite out of her get a bullet through her stomach and H died as a kid and never got to grow up like everyone else and p had to slowly die
