Everyone is talking about how tragic F’s story was, but what about Q. Q spent his whole life trying to warn the others, but failing only being able to tell everyone when it’s too late and all he could do is watch Edit: We’re very close to 6.9k likes, fix that
N’s story is sad too. I think the implication is that N turned into Z. He was so sad about F’s death being his fault that he hunched over on his side, and stayed there until all the emotion drained from him, turning him white. Moral of the story: don’t stand idle when you see bullying.

There’s so many little details in this, like the punctuation marks that have unique powers that reflect to the actual ones, G calling the letters in Morse Code, the word Coward when lowercase n zooms out towards f, the fact that LMNOP is a superhero team because it goes fast in the alphabet song, when N is a superhero he is Ñ, X having to multiply with an asterisk. It’s insane that a series with this many small details has so little views. Seriously underrated! Also to those who said that this has about 20M views, this comment was written when it was around 100K.
There’s more than 1. Everyone except P, G, N, Q, and F. q tried to be the hero by telling everyone the situation. They all feared F of what he has done to r i e d s which makes “friends” N found out himself by his shadow. Q tried to say everyone but was too slow like a slug.

Z's Punctuation Mark is an Ellipsis "...", used for ominous tones or silence, and Zs are usually used ti depict the sound of snoring (idk why that was always written like that). So from what we can infer is that Z is the silent watcher, asleep yet awake to see the tragedy of this civilization unfurl into chaos and treachery.
I was expecting N to evolve into Z and kill F but they took it in a different and ultimately better direction where they humanized F and explained his actions, which also deepened the running theme of N's cowardice and gave an origin story for the punctuation marks, as well as explaining why Q was chasing them the entire time. Truly one of the masterpieces of our time.
It’s usually jokingly said in low budget one-off animations, but this story LITERALLY has themes of love, betrayal, friendship, compassion and humor. Just by watching this I have the desire to use the alphabet more often. Thank you.

Then he tripped G, which was what happened to set everyone in this quest, all of his tears were stolen by L, M, N, O, P and X, with Q getting a vision of what was to come.
Genuinely from the bottom of my heart this series about letters from the english alphabet has shook me to my core and permanently left an impact on my life that no other movie or tv show has ever done before.
Truly a different story than what was first expected. The saddest part was that Q was the warning, but he ended up too late. But the most sad part of all, was Z. He couldn't do anything to stop it all from happening. He just had to watch it all unfold. edit: Im famous now :D

He’s lived for thousands of years (hence the cracks, to show that he is an ancient entity) and has witnessed thousands of tales. He’s crying because despite being the most omnipotent being, he couldn’t interfere. Truly powerful and touching lore 😢. I will say with confidence that this is one of the lores of all time 😔
When I was a child (and still now) I would love to make stories out of basic things like colours or cards, but everytime I would get stuck on the origin or who their parents were, that would always mess with my brain and make me feel guilty that my stories didn't make sense. But after watching this video and how Z turned out to be the planet, I realised that it's not about the biology but about the creativity. I don't know if this will help anyone, but it helped me. The music at the end, Y being used as a punch-line, the letters being able to form words, the backstory, the use of the punctuations as special gems, and how the lowercase and uppercase letters meaning age. someone probably did this but i'm gonna basically explain all the letters A- probably the most useful letter out of all, without him, cab, map, and many others will not appear B- can flap its thingy's to fly C- can fly but it flies kinda like a sea creature D-its literal only use was to write out friends E-same as D F-the main antagonist of the story. Literally just became the antagonist because of the word frick G-One of the main heroes of the story. I came to this thinking I'd see something stupid, and this is a true hidden gem. You made this so well done that it sends a great message about friendship and bullies. Z feels so bad for F in this situation, and he couldn't do snything about it since he holds all the other letters up. And F was blinded by revenge that N had to make the ultimate sacrifice and kill his only childhood friend who turned evil. Truly a masterpiece.
one thing that i don't see a lot of people talking about is that F still wanted to be friends with N because if you look when Q is about to spit out the ? it spells out "FRIENDS" on the wall, but everyone is dead meaning F was collecting those specific letters and planned to bring N all along just so he could be friends again
14:38 is the saddest part for me, let me explain After mostly all the letters abandoning f, Q was the only one left behind, meaning they left him behind before, Q could never catch up with them ever since childhood, and finally got to tell them the truth using the question mark jewel but it was too late, finding everyone dead, q has the same expression on his face, tiredness, and sadness. Notice how Q, L, and O were one of the only main letters left behind, my theory is that F is going to come back from the jewel he used from X, cloning himself. And finally take revenge on L and O, possibly foreshadowing what they did to him, just like all the other letters. F pushes L and rolls over O or flattening O. But leaves Q unharmed, because Q never acted violent against F since he was too slow. Back to 14:38, you can see Q’s eyes shot up and moving a bit, showing he just saw trauma nobody wished they had, Q tries his hardest to try and get to the other letters, to warn them about impending doom, but he was always too slow. Also if you see it from F’s perspective you can see Q far behind and N hiding behind the formed word Coward, O was the only one in that word that bullied N, explaining why N is behind O and only O, also before that you get to see the form ABCDE but no F, meaning F is gone in the alphabet to them, and G couldn’t take F’s place since he was with P. Everyone forgot F and Q, and all Z can do is watch their life, while he can’t have a life. You truly did an amazing job getting emotional feeling into this story
Q had such interesting character development, Q is seen to be this slow, snail-like character (because it's the letter after the fast l m n o p) but realizing how Q was following them and saying "Q" every time it shows up, come to find out that Q was trying to warn the other letters of the inevitable fate of all of the other letters, and every time it say "Q" it's calling out to the other letters, to warn them, i love how x was used, it has an asterisk as their special gem and can multiply (and both the asterisk and x are used for multiplication) and then the reveal for Z, being the ground they were on the whole time, I went into this video expecting some simple, funny stuff but nothing too much, in reality, i got a great story, great use for characters, with every little detail being intertwined with the letter. thank you Mike for blessing me with, truly, a work of art
4 things I realized: 1. The shape of each magic crystal thing is a special symbol, specifically . , : ; ! ? * … The ellipses is Z. 2. X’s power is cloning himself because X is also used for multiplication. 3. The letters that have the crystals start at LMNOP, the fastest part of the alphabet. 4. Q might be the slowest because it is either one of the least used or the least used letter of the alphabet.
I can't stop feeling emotional over this... it explains the effects of bullying perfectly. F was only trying to help n, but that same kindness caused him to turn into an alphabet killing machine. Q trying to warn them this whole time was really sad, because it was too late. F was killed by the one friend he loved and cared for the entire time. And Z having to watch all this helplessly made me cry along with him. :..( I felt super touched when the alphabet song started to play around the end of the video... A perfect story that should be turned into a movie some day!!!
The fact that F gets revenge on a lot of letters in the same ways they beat him up as a kid, like stomping on I, shooting something at J, and nailing T back into the ground, or how other parts are mirrored in that section, like C biting F, just adds even more to this. It's insane that you made an animation about the alphabet that could be analyzed for hours.

Okay, so, let's break some things down. Mainly, the stones As everyone has probably figured out, each stone is a symbol of some sort. L gets a period, M gets a comma, N gets a semicolon, O gets a full colon, P gets an exclamation mark, X gets a multiplication sign (which is interesting not only because multiplication signs aren't commonly found in the English language, unlike the other stones, but also because sometimes x itself is used for multiplication), and F, or, better yet, Q, gets a question mark And finally, there's Z, who gets an ellipse Now, a more unknown fact might be that the power that the gems give are directly linked to their symbols For example: L's stone (the period) stops people in place, like how a period stops a sentence M's stone (the comma) slows things down, like how a comma is used to slow down a sentence by taking a quick break N's stone (the semicolon) attaches two things together, like how a semicolon attaches two sentences together O's stone (the colon) can gravitate multiple people and attach them to one letter, like how a colon attaches multiple items to one list P's stone (the exclamation mark) makes her incredibly fast, like how an exclamation mark is used in a sentence to emphasize a fast pace or excitement X's stone (the multiplication sign) gives him the ability to multiply... do I even need to explain this one? Q's stone (the question mark) gives a person full omniscience, and answers every question about life, which is, weirdly enough, the opposite of what a question mark does And finally, there's Z, who has the ellipse stones, which signify a continuation, so, unless it gets canceled, I think a part 2 is definitely in the works As to what that continuation is, who knows? My main guess would be that it's probably about numbers, since we now know that math exists in this universe (through X and his stone). Who knows? Maybe X will have a bigger part in this than we thought. I mean, it was a little weird how he got dispatched so easily, given that he's one of the very few characters who was gifted with a stone, and plus, while definitely painful, his wounds didn't seem all that fatal I also feel like X and Y feel have a huge part to play in the continuation, if my theory of it being about numbers is correct, since X and Y are the main substitutes for when you don't know the value of a certain number Plus, X and Y seem to have a deep relationship that was never really explored, introduced, or ever brought up again, so a part 2 with them getting a major role could explore that a little more. I love how detailed this is, one that not many people pointed out is how H dies by smelling a fart, later on is literally farted out. So many little things make this whole video better as a whole

Are L and O being villains based on the fact they can spell “LOL” and also L meaning loser or something? Because if so that’s some big brain character design right there
summary: Instead of killing all the letters, F’s main goal in the series was to kidnap all the letters in “friends” (possibly to spell the word). This is because F was friends with the letters in “friends” but it almost ended because of L & O’s bullying. Once they managed to hurt N, F got payback on L&O by spelling “fart” but that only started to make F the target for bullying. L then pushed F together with R I C and K to spell a (so-called) swear word with O getting everyone’s attention. This had made all the letters hate F and thus hurt him continuously. To me, N was just there when F tripped and didn’t mean to trip him but the problem was that he betrayed F because he was a “coward” (linking back to W’s introduction) this made F cry those Punctuation Gems and separate himself from the other letters. Lastly, when Q ate the question mark, he saw what had happened in the future and tried to warn the other letters but was just too slow. Another thing to note: Each of the Punctuation Gems have a superpower: Period - Freezes Someone Comma - Makes time slower Colon&Semicolon - Forces letters together Exclamation Point - Super Speed Asterisk (*) - Duplication Question Mark - Seeing the future edit: how tf did i get so many likes and replies
I keep wanting more. This story is incredible and tragic, and I can’t help but crave more from this world. The attention to detail is FANTASTIC. Upon rewatches you can see things such as how F shows immense disdain for L and O specifically, the fact that F puts the gem down instead of trying to fight N showing that they want something else, and how F kills J instantly because they broke F’s teeth. But honestly since F bumped into R, R should’ve been able to tell that it wasn’t intentional.
Even the way F was physically assaulted by the other letters have been reciprocated back. e used d to smack f which we see F smacking E with D. i stomped on f which in turn causes I to get Pixar Stomped by F j shot f with projectiles which in turn causes F to use I to blast J Both m and M would hit F the same way in both times but just M lost against F t would smack f from behind. T would later get bonked on the head by F Before X could do any martial arts like how x did, F immediately ate them. It is unknown as to why F fights fair with X. So the physical trauma of F was returned back from all of the letters that were dogging F
i like how z is pronounced with both pronunciations at once the british "zed" and the american "zee" merged into "zeed" - its almost like both are correct but neither side wants to admit it
The thing that I love the most is that there's no dialogue yet it tells such a cool story and shows of so much personality in the characters. Obviously there's a few 'words' like why or gg, but these are just jokes and there's the spellings of coward and friends, but they wouldn't make sense without the context.
Why doesn't really count considering that its spelled y. both gg and y while can be interpreted as word they are only implying them through the fact that saying g twice is the same as gg and saying y is the same as why. Anyway all of this to say there was no dialogue in the sense that none of them spoke anything that could be understood as Information to us. And obviously I am excluding the way u say a word Wich does tell the emotional state of the letter but it doesn't in my opinion count as dialogue or at least it is only a fraction of what makes dialogue. I just realized I spent way too much time and effort typing this but ┐(￣ヘ￣)┌
How you managed to turn a whole bunch of letters saying their names into a full fledged, emotional story that somehow is better than most content on TV today will forever amaze me Also I will forever love how when N grows his hair, he becomes N with ~, and even says its pronounciation. This series was emotional and I’m not even lying. I genuinely started crying at the end. I was expecting some silly animations but instead I found a creative masterpiece. The fact that you took inspiration from something so simple as the alphabet and turned it into such a series with an awesome and deep lore is amazing! I really hope we see more of this and get and happy ending in the future!
Love how when Z says.. well, Z, it sounds like "Zeeend" which make it not only sound like the 2 pronunciations of Z (zee and zed) but also it makes it sound like "the end". Now if only they could do that with the 2 pronunciations of H (haych and aych)
Did anyone think about the fact that "H" is a ghost. I know he died from smelling a bad fart, but can we talk about the fact that the letter "H" is usually silent in a word. such as honor, hour, honest, heir, vehicle, and vehement. (but the last two kind of depend on your accent and how you say things). But "H" being a ghost in this context means that he is silent, considering you can barely hear him in his introduction, 1:09. What do you guys think?
My favorite thing about this is how, not only do each of the gems represent a form a punctuation, but they also all have powers relating to that. ; allows F to bind B and C together, like how a semicolon connects to sentences. : seems to have a similar binding power, but it seems to be more like a magnet than anything, and this is the only one I’m confused on, other than ? , allows F to slow down P, like how I’m a sentence, commas represent breaks. . allows F to completely freeze G, like how periods tell us the sentence ends there. ! allows P and F to move faster in short bursts, like how exclamation points single is to get loud, and so, in a sense, our words travel faster. ? isn’t exactly clear, but it appears to allow Q to see the future, and also maybe the past. It’s a bit confusing, fitting, given it causes me to question it’s powers. * allows X and F to duplicate/make clones cause asterisks show you to read somewhere else with more letters.
What could Z’s … mean tho? Since ellipsis usually lead into another sentence/bunch of sentences, they could segue into season 2, or maybe create new life.
I know it must've been tragic for F and Q and even N but how about Z? Z had to sit through it all. Z witnessed everything but couldn't do anything to stop it. I think Z might have even had the most tragic story out of all of them. Z witnessed F getting bullied along with a couple other letters that didn't do anything about it. But Z didn't have a chance to do anything about it. The other letters did. Z is the only letter no one can blame yet, he had to watch it all. Z had no choice.
This series had a stronger emotional impact on me than most tv shows and movies nowadays. nZ made me cry, especially when baby q realized he had to warn everyone, "guys! Guys, you have to listen to me! Guys, wait!" like a modern Cassandra
Not a franchise, but Greek mythology. A woman cursed to see the future, but also to never be believed. She saw terrible events fated to happen, but could only sit by and watch them unfold.
*Punctuation Gems:* Formed by F who cried them out (except for the ellipses at the end), the colors and the time they were formed relate to who hurt F, except for the question mark. *Period* - freezes a letter, used by L: periods are used to end sentences, stop them, which is why the power freezes a letter in their place. *Colon and semicolon* - Sticks two or more letters together, used by O and N: Colons and semicolons are used to connect sentences together, just like how it forces the letters to magnetize. *Comma* - slows a letter, Used by M: Usually when commas are used there is a noticeable pause or break in the sentence, it slows the letters down just like how it does a spoken sentence. *Exclamation point* - Super speed, used by P: Exclamation points give an excitable or bombastic feel to a sentence, it would make sense that the energy the punctuation mark gives off would translate into super speed. *Asterisk* - Doubles a letter, used by X: Asterisks are commonly used as a multiplication symbol (which explains why X has it as X is also a multiplication symbol), the ability multiplies the user just as the symbol multiples numbers. *Question mark*- Shows the past and future of the one who cried it (in this case F), used by Q: Okay, I don’t think question marks have anything to do with showing you the past or future, but the word question mark does start with the letter q, which is an explanation as to why Q has it, albeit a weak one. *Ellipsis* - When completed, it ends the story, used and cried out by Z: Ellipsis’ are used to allude to an incomplete thought, though a lot of people use them to end a sentence in either a foreboding or long drawn out tone; when Z cries it out, they end the story in a drawn out tone, just like how they say their name, “Zzzzeeeeeddd…” I know I didn’t describe all of their functions in a sentence structure, I only went into light detail on what specific qualities of them were taken to fit their abilities in the video.
Honestly, I love that G is speaking in morse code almost the whole time. His introduction is morse code for G, he called C, A, and B all in morse code, said P in morse code, and so on and so forth.
I feel bad for Q. His whole life he’s been slowly chasing everyone, but then they leave when Q is just out of reach, and he has to start all over again. He’s been traumatized since he saw the vision, and has been going as fast as he can to warn the others of the tragedy to come. At least now, he can finally rest.
Q's character was tragic, maybe even *MORE* tragic than F's story. My guy legit had to sit through the trauma of realizing what's about to happen, tries to tell the crew, but is too slow for the other letters to care. It's like looking into the future realizing your best friend is gonna die, trying to warn them, but they think your joking. That must suck *TONS*
@@TrickyPchester0948 they're unable to interact with any of the other letters AND they're helpless to try and change it in any way -- at least Q was able to catch up to the other letters and eventually give N his question mark, and F was able to get his point across after he died...god knows if any of the other letters even know Z exists (unless maybe they're the other letters' ancestor/parent? would explain why they have cracks around the edges of their body).
You know I actually feel absolutely awful for F. Despite killing most of the other letter’s it’s shown in the flashback that all he wanted was just to have friends. But due to him accidentally spelling frick is what cause the other letters to cross the line on him. It’s also shown that L and O were possibly the true antagonists, even though as uppercase they were trying to help everyone Anime style try to remember that they were the ones that caused F’s violent behavior due to bullying him very badly. It’s also even more very sad with N since F just wanted to be friends with him which at first he was happy, but after the whole frick thing sadly was forced to abandon him with the other letters. So F was forced to live in a cave all alone for a long time and as he grew older knew he wanted to get revenge so decided to kill everyone that abused him after what happened in the past. Honestly I know he caused so much harm to the other letters you but can tell that all he wanted was to have a friend hence the letter F, but that abuse is what caused him to become the way he is now poor guy.
I am firmly convinced this is one of the best examples of short-form, creative, and flat-out amazing pieces of storytelling. Characters are easily readable. The story evolves naturally and without filler. The art is creative, despite it being the literal alphabet. It even has good character development & callbacks! Bravo! This is what UA-cam was made for (and I have been on UA-cam since 2005).
I just realized in the "n" part, they were lower cased letters while in the other episode, they were upper cased. This means that "F" got evil after being exiled. And that the real villains were "o" and 'l"

I think my favorite part has to be V, due to how clever the bait-and-switch is, especially with the small details like "F"'s mouth being rounded, and in the close up they have eyelashes. It's stuff that you don't really notice on the first watch, but after rewatching it you see the clues. I like how you can interpret V's scared vibrating "Veee ;-;" as being scared of F... or concerned or disturbed by the state of P. Because remember, is it even confirmed V knows ANYTHING about what's happening? Maybe he just wants to know what happened to P, and in that sense it's clear this series wouldn't have been as good if we understood the letters. _Now, it's not peak cinema of course_ >3>; For one, since it wasn't planned from the start, there's so many missed opportunities for cool bits of foreshadowing that are frustrating but understandable. Also, back to V's part... _why_ was "F" black/in shadow there? V wasn't shaded, literally everything in this world except for F's mountain is lit up white? Pink isn't an easy color to mix up with Black and most excuses I can give like G.U.N.(or was it M.A.G.N.U.M.? Those are the left over letters working together after that scene even-) having tunnel vision or running on adrenaline feels weird to me. What also feels weird is that the one that becomes Ñ is an incompetent C.O.W.A.R.D. and L has a flamboyant voice but turns out to be a huge jerk? Not gonna """CaNCeL""" fawkin' letters, these are all just very small nitpicks because after rewatching it around 7 times so far I've been overthinking it. I know it wasn't planned from the beginning, but I wonder... If we watched each part one by one, taking into account the rules laid out about the series currently like there only being one of each letter and the letters F kidnaps being taken in order(excluding N which might be a problem...), I'm curious what kind of words that we could've guessed he was spelling in the cave. Was it gonna include himself(it did)? Was it a swear or something evil(nope)? Who knows? It might be a fun exercise to try. Anyways, awesome series, good job, and thanks for uploading it all in a compilation.
F spelled "friends" since F wanted to capture N but failed at that, he probably wanted N to team up with him, but why he caused chaos to do it is beyond me.
The three most tragic characters: F - He was bullied and stuck on a cave for years and just wanted to have friends again. Q - He knew literally everything that'll happen in the future, which is already enough to probably scar someone. But he tried to warn everyone but he was too slow. And when he did, it was far too late. Z - He is literally the entire planet. He saw every story, including this one. Imagine being immortal and not able to do anything.
I’d argue for the honorable mention of the tragic death of character P, they were trying to protect everyone and even was an emotional support to two characters, N and G. However, P was shot in the back by the ones they supported with both G and N forming a Gun after a case of mistaken identity from being mutilated from F.
I love how this turned from a silly gag with F just being weird, to a whole story with the backstory of almost every letter! Edit: I started chaos. How beautiful
This is unironically, one of the greatest things I’ve ever watched, it’s story is compelling, it’s funny, and it’s characters are all amazing, and it’s the alphabet we’re talking about
My mind is blown, that was actually a really good story. One that truly made me feel sorry for F by the end. And the art style was just super iconic. Bravo!

has to be one of the best story’s I have ever seen F’s story is so tragic and the backstory at the end has to be one of the saddest but awesome thing and Q holding the knowledge of the future but never able to tell them until it was to late We need season 2 with numbers.
Yeah and we could make 0 the villain who was ignored for being so useless but as the math becomes more complex 0 takes place in more and more details and 1 tries to bring him back, but 2 declines because 0 is a loser. 5 tries his best to gather everyone with his simple ways but 4 accuses 5 of making the math a whole lot harder and hateable which makes 6 sad. Eventually 1 and 2 get in an argument and want to be seperated from eachother, but 12, their mother, tells them how sad it would be and how history would change so much. 2 declares that 1 is useless and goes to fight 0 to death so 1 doesn't take hold of him and let him in the math world again. Meanwhile, 2 walks in on 0 in a lab, making a number creature. The creatures were - and another number. 2 tries to warn 0 on how this would mess up the math world, but 0 insisted it was the future. 2 didn't become convinced, and 0 strangled 2. But 2 survived, and got out of his lair. Before 2 could explain the dangers of 0, she couldn't find 1. She rushed to tell 12, but 12 told 2 that 1 was at 0's house. 2 broke down, and visited 4 for reassurance. After all, they were cousins. 2 cried in 4's arms, as 4 explained how bad 5 was. 2 didn't like 4's words, after all, they were wrong. 5 was kind and loved all numbers. 2 tried her best to convince 4 that 5 was innocent, but 4 insisted. 4 had locked 5 out of his dorm long ago, because 4 couldn't afford to have their places changed. 2 asked where 5 was, and, 4 said he was with 0. 2 had to go to 0 now, but before 2 knew it, 2 was too weak. New numbers were being invented, and, inevitably, 2 became weaker and weaker, till it was the 1st weakest number. 2 cried on how this could happen, and goes to 0's lab after days of walking. 0 explains to 2 that he has created the future. 2 didn't believe him. They were just single digits numbers, and this could be done by the weakest number ever. 0 tells 2 that this is the future again. "Don't deny it", he says. But 2 ultimately denies it, and destroys the lab, therefore cutting 0's experiments in half, creating fractions. 0 runs away and cries, wanting to be accepted, but 2 never let him. He'd change the world for the better if it weren't for that mere excuse of a number, however, 0 did not know 2's struggles on being weak. 2 wanted to be like 12, but 1 always told 2 they were useless beginners. 2 wanted to prove 1 wrong and change the math world, but 2 was indeed weak. Therefore, 2 would want to be stronger by destroying 0's lab. 1 and 5 hid in the lab, as they gossiped over how they've finally created their project, decimals. But 5 tells 1 that 2 has destroyed everything. 1 breaks down, knowing that if 2 had partnered with 0, they could easily create beautiful things. 2 finishes the destroying and makes a lair. 2 never wanted to be the villain. 2 just wanted to be the protagonist or the sidekick that gets a plushie and their own show. 2 walks through the hallway, crying over how she never wanted this. Meanwhile, 1 hears 2's cries. 0 and 1 partner to create a new code, binary, and that 2 could participate in it and become that cute sidekick. 0 and 1 knock on the door and tell 2 about the beautiful project they've made. 2 denies and thinks that she won't be able to do it. 0 and 1 mistook this for being simply mean and selfish, so they left 2 alone. 2 wanted revenge, even though 2 knew it was useless. They hadn't done anything..or did they? 2 lies in bed thinking of how 0 and 1 mocked 2 for being such a weird number. It was so long ago, but 2 was hurt. 2 decided to kill 0, his decimals, fractions and binary. 2 would finally put an end to this saga and euthanise the math world once and for all. 2 rushes to 0's lab, knowing it would take days for a weak number to reach the small distance. Crying, 2 pulls out a knife to kill 0, but she hears an unfamiliar voice. "X." The multiplication had been invented. 2 stood no chance against this lord, and thus agreed to be the double of any number in the world. It would make 2 that cute sidekick, once and for all. But what about 5? 4 held the knife to 5's heart, pinning him down, knowing it was wrong. 4 was jealous on how strong 5 was, although they were one apart. 4 shed a tear on how they've also become the antagonist. 4 wanted to be the cool protagonist. It's not fair. It isn't. But in the last moments of 4's grief, 5 stood up, held the knife to 4's heart and pinned him down. "Four..I loved you throughout all of my life, but we have come to an end." 5 stabbed 4 while sobbing. 4 was then associated with death. 7 opened the door to reveal something sinister. One of his dearest friends were killed by 5. 7 thought 4's rumours were real. 5 didn't have enough time to explain and 7 went insane, he had went to the athletic jock to the insane, crazy person he is now in a span of a few seconds. 7 hyperventilated, wanting to cope by something, but couldn't. They put him in an asylum, and 5 warned others to not visit him. 6, 8, and 9 refused to believe 5 because they had grown up with 7. 9 was the first to visit 7, and, a freak accident happened. I think we all know what happened. 7 ate 9. Blood was smeared all over the cell, as 6 watched in horror and feat. 8 could not fathom that his younger brother did something so cruel, 8 tried calling 0, 1, and 2, but nobody would respond. What happened to 3 and 10? 3 learnt that they were related to 1 and 2. 3 was happy because 1 and 2 were having a good time doing what they love today, unaware of 4's death. 10 and 12, 1 and 2's parents, accepted that 3 can stay with them, however, in a conversation, 3 learnt something. 3 learnt that 4 was dead, and sobbed. 10 took him out for ice-cream and helped him calm down. What about 0? 0 stayed in his lab and made a mini bedroom. He was glad that he was finally accepted into society again, and was working on algebra and calculus that night. - 4's Funeral - At 4's funeral, 5 read the obituary and set up the funeral. He apologized to everyone but explained 4's horrible tendencies. In the end, everyone apologized to 5 and 7 was told the news through a small paper but he was too lost to read it. 4 was a symbol of death ever since his murder, especially in Asia. This is true information, however it is not due to him dying. - 9's Funeral - 7 did not allow for 9 to have a funeral shortly after 9's funeral. 5 insisted and told 7 it won't be much but 8 told 5 that something terrible would happen. 5 declined and made the funeral. 8 and 6 did not attend because they didn't want to be reminded of their trauma. 12, 6's aunt stayed at 6's house to help him calm down. 10 had to take care of the house and therefore could also not attend the funeral. 0, 1, 2 and 3 were the only attendees. - 0, 1, and 2's grief - They were the last to know 9 and 4's deaths which took a big toll on them. 0 stopped making projects because he had to help 5 with the funerals. 2 grieved more than 1, because 2 had just started her new life. 1 also had to stop projects to help 2. - Why did 5 help with the funerals? - Because 5 killed 4 in self defense, he knew he would have to be responsible for the funeral if he wanted to be kind. 5 was also a bit responsible for 9's traumatizing death so he also had to take on the funeral. 9 and 4's parents neglected their children, which is also what caused these deaths in the first place and also why they would refuse the funeral. - The negative numbers - When 2 broke into the lab, the negative numbers broke. They were, however, reinvented after a few months. - Numeral racism - Numeral racism was when someone would discriminate against negative or decimal numbers. Luckily, it was only 7 who did this so it was stopped. - 8's future - 8 was also kept in an asylum because of 9's death. 6 didn't meet the same fate as 8 because 12 helped 6 through his grief. 16 was sadly on a business trip for 6 months and couldn't be there for 8. 8 was an introverted and shy person, so he refused help. - The End - Edit: Also I wanted to add that 2's villain side was inspired by Rob from gumball (especially that one line about being a sidekick was entirely from gumball) and that 7 eating 9 was a reference to the joke. Now I'll add 2's villain arc in another reply because I'm lagging.
2's Villain Arc: (2 was actually always a girl. Don't ask why because I don't know.) 2 walks through his lair with grief and disgust. This is not the way it should be. "Gosh, these stupid numbers. They never understand me. They never understand how hard I've tried and how much I've wanted." 2 gets her cape and covers herself with it. 1 and 0 knock on the door but the door denies them and pushes them into the floor. "They never understand..They never understand..THEY NEVER UNDERSTAND!" 2 floats in power as lightning strikes this world of misery. "I'LL PUT AN END TO YOU!" The voice can be heard, as 2 becomes 200,000, more powerful than ever before. "0, 5. I don't think we can do this." "1, I've surrendered. My inventions are no longer enough for 2. I miss the days were 2 wasn't like this. But, I must go." 0 walks away as 1 and 5 watch him fade from their battle. Infront of the lair, 5 wants to put up a fight with 2, but 1 declines, knowing with one hit, they'll be already dead. "Gosh, are you stupid? You're gonna die or become a minion." "It's n-not fair how I'm underestimated." 5 runs away and 1 watches him in fear. 1 chases him, but he doesn't get a chance. 1 opens the door of his house and explains to 5's parents the true danger of the situation, but he can't find them. He has been talking to air. 1 tries to unlock 5's room, but he can't. It's been locked. "Is anyone there?" "5..I know but- I LOVE YOU!" "I'm sorry 1, I can't feel the same way if it's my last moment." "5! WHAT ARE YOU DOING?! YOU CAN'T EJECT YOURSELF!" "I'm long gone." 1 starts hitting the door and crying on how much 5 meant to him. However, when 1 opened the door he knew 5 was dead. Long dead with no revival. Through these moments of pain 2 had already been prepared to destroy the world that brought her misery. The city's radios flood with the message that 2 will destroy the world. 1 runs out of 5's home and hears the message all over the city that once used to be his. He watches and hears people in misery as he runs up to his father and mother. He hugs them and sobs. 2 walks out of the lair as 200,000. "I will spare you all one message. By one person." 1 tries his best to be Infront of the crowd and say his last words to his sister, as his father, 10, pushes him to the front. 200,000 gives a microphone to 1. "Dear sister, You have won. In a far universe you have not. You have helpt us in our last moments in that uni-" 1 is shot by 200,000 for reminding her that she once used to be weak. She heads to the lair and the clouds turn black. Everything goes black, and the math world is finally euthanised just like how 200,000 wanted it to be. A flood of guilt fills her, but she ejects herself fast enough.
Spoilers ahead: When A, B, C, and D were introduced we had gotten a lot of their personality however it was short lived when we see F for the first time, this series antagonist. F brutally mauls D in E's face savagely. We then see his cave where he traps E and D. Major points in the series. We then meet our most important protagonist G. Who is attacked by F. By calling C, A and B they are able to form a Cab with the unity of G. They stroll for a while before we meet H the ghost which acts as a hiding place for F. Which was crucial since G plotted revenge. F then inhales and spits out H disrespectfully. We next see I whi gets Pixar'd by F. F then united with I and uses its powers to disintegrate J. Truly a sad death. K arrives to the scene however F uses K's power to fly around. G,A,B, and C finally meet F once more now with the powers of both I and K. After charging up a blast we meet the newest allies of the crew L,M,N,O and P. L using his curved shape to divert the aim of F and I's attack and M kick off K from the back of F. N pathetically is embarrassed by F. F is finally ready to commence in battle but first P arrives and G remembers his long lost love. When they meet once again their love reignited. Then we meet the wise Q who is very important to the plot. Q arrives to the fight when suddenly we find out that F is gone and stole N's power crystal. Truly a shock. This was also where we seen how sneaky F is. He snuck past A,B,C,G,L,M,N,O, and P all at once and stole one of the strongest items in all of Z. F then chains up I finding no more use in his power instead opting to harness the power of the power crystals. We meet R next and they are taken by R. After the protagonists argue O and L abandon N. But P helps up N building character development. P then separates A,B, and C from being a Cab. P then uses A and M to become a map. G uses the tracker on the map to find F's location which was a vital move. P proves to be an intelligent character throughout the story. Turning back into Cab, The group prepares to once again face off against F. We then cut to Q mourning the death of J just reminding us of how we lost a beloved character in the fandom. We then meet S who sadly fights F in their first scene and is sucked up by F. L finds F in a notable match. O then arrives but F uses N's power crystal of binding to apprehend them quickly. To believe that the 2 strongest members of LMNOP could be so easily defeated. They both had their crystals stolen by F. We meet 2 who doesn't stand much chance against F. T is hammered into the dirt. F spotted the protags and G is finally aware of how close they are to F. F uses L's powers and N hides behind G cowardly. MA and P split up to be of more use. M powers up preparing to carry. But is absorbed and pooped bout by F. F steals M's Crystal sadly after a long fought battle. P then uses her power of speed to absolutely destroy F but just when we think it's over F uses M's power. To little avail. P punches F with the strongest attack of theirs but F fires back with M's laser beam. P uses her powers to deflect though. This was incredibly shocking since we would soon find out that F was the creator of the crystals of punctuation he was the only one able to tap into its true potential. This is arguably more intense than the final fight arc. F forfeits and prepares to face G when suddenly F smells N's cowardice. C struggles to help but is bound by F using N's crystal to B. C bites F in the gluteus maximus the weak spot of any letter. F kills C in front of A who could only watch in horror since he was bound to T who was rooted into the earth. Definitely the worst death in the series P glares in shock and G tears up N watches in disbelief. F then attacks P to hurt G the most knowing they love each other. Taking her to his lair. The effects of F's crystals wear off from distance however the group is sad and everyone is more driven from C's death. B is left behind by the group from being put out of commission. The group mourns and a season of filler later we cut to our next new character, U. G and N had came up with a plan to unite with U after a season of filler of searching they had found them and made GUN. We meet V who is attacked by F when suddenly Gun aims saying the notorious quote "GG" before shooting straight through F. They separate and when they get closer they notice the pink hue. It wasn't F. It was P asking for help from V. Everyone who watched that scene screamed and burst into tears when they seen P die. G raged and vowed to kill F as F chewed the corpse of P. V joins the crew form van since both B and C cannot help form cab for fast transportation. A few eepisodes later we meet W in a memory of N's. N has been traumatized by F as they approach is cavern. We meet Q next seeing the approaching battle between X and F. Probably the best fight since P vs F. X was heavily brought up by the LMNOP squad as the strongest in all of Z so this battle was heavily awaited. X uses the power of his crystal to use Kage Bushin or Shadow Divide to buy time for the protags. F let's go of his crystals surprising X. X does the same. F fought harder and without the crystals X was nothing. F only tricked X to steal his crystal. F takes all of the crystals and enters his cave. Y, X's sidekick and comic relief was devastated after watching the entire fight. Yelling in sorrow of her beloved ally. F finally spits out S when suddenly the crew arrives at F's cave, AGNUV and M. N finds the trail of gems that F laid down as he stumbled through the cave. They explore around searching for F. N sees L's crystal and realizes what might've happened to them but takes the gem anyway trying to prove O and L wrong for abandoning him. F sees the glow from the crystal and spits out R out before grabbing M,A,G, and U . leaving N by himself, collecting the crystals. Using X's crystal, F creates an illusion forcing N into the same room with him. After a long Chase. N finally sees F once more. F drops X's crystal near N's. N seeing all of the corpses uses one of the Crystals power to bring his own crystal to him. With all of the powers combined he was able to turn into NU (a letter in the Greek alphabet related to N also representing the word N ultimate)N Ultimate uses all of the powers to onliterate F in one shot. All of the survived minor protags watch the rainbow of powers shoot through the sky. The effects of F wear out and the protags are released. Suddenly N notices that the letters F targeted spelled the word friends perfectly. Y arrives asking why F did this. Suddenly the legendary Q arrives and shows them his own crystal where the group sees back in time to when they were lowercase. Probably the saddest moment in media history. The letters F,R,I,E,N,D and S were just doing their little dancy dance when O and L prepare to shoot at the group. R,I,E, and D had already left. O and L aimed at N knocking them unconscious. Thousands of fans raged at the screen and suddenly were shocked by this, me included. F helps up N wanting to be friends. F, angry at O and L as they laugh at them. Grabs T,R and A to form the word fart to embarrass L. L coming from the Thicc lineage was the perfect target. The entire alphabet laughed at L as he sweat. H had smelled it and died hence why H is a ghost. Fart disessembles and O and L exact revenge by beating F up. F then cried solid tears which would soon turn into the power crystals. L then pushes F into R,I,C and K who is just in it's larval stage spelling frick. Out of context the alphabet assumes F made a nono word. R,I,C and K are angry at F for something he didn't do the entire alphabet beats the living feel out of F. F then trips over N thinking that N did that on purpose. L,M, and O ally with N against their will to stand against F. F makes the Q crystal from his tears then making the N crystal after N hides behind O. F vows to exact revenge one day and enters F mountain while accidently crashing into G and P smooching. P then aquires her crystal and so do the others. Q finds their crystal seeing the future events or in this case present events. Q tries to alert the alphabet but isn't the fastest. A sad rendition of the theme song "The Alphabet" was played which honestly made me tear up. N turns back once more as time passes though he is forgotten. causing Z to cry. Z was shown at the end being a large surprise character to the audience some making up his appearance in many ways or predicting the fabled Z which happened to be the planet as explained earlier.An amazing series finale...

Q is the BEST character. I know, this sounds like I'm joking. I know he says "KYOOOO", but listen here. Q wanted to warn the others of the future, but because of Q's speed, he got there when it was too late. If Q wasn't snail speed, he could have successfully warned everyone about what F was doing. This could have helped them! Q tried to warn them but did when it was too late. Q is the best, impossible to disagree with me. Edit: I just showed that lore can have lore.
A, B, C, D, E, F, G; H, I, J, K, LMNOP... Q, R, S; T, U, V; W, X; Y 'n' Z... So yeah, Q is a snail bcuz he is the first letter after an ellipsis "...", after L, M, N, O, P, being the fastest part in the alphabet. That's why L, M, N (aka Ñ), O, P are a superhero team.
Everyone is breaking down the story but, I’ve not seen a single person ever say anything about this 11:48 After this part, F seems like an even sadder antagonist, after F was outcasted and abandoned all they wanted were their friends back. It now makes sense why they only took R,I,E,D and S and tried to take N hostage. It’s because they just wanted to spell “Friends” and not be all alone for the rest of who knows how long anymore. Who knew a story about the alphabet could be so deep with story? Not me, that’s for sure
As you see, when they spell something they actually turn into what they've spelled. So it makes sense that he imprisoned those letters so that he could use them to spell "friends". He just wanted to create himself some friends :(
X having the asterisk is a double reference. Obviously he multiplies because X is frequently used as the multiplication symbol, but the asterisk is also used as a multiplication sign in algebra so the letter isn’t confused for a variable.

i love how F's backstory began when he was a little f and he was bullied and mistreated. he got back by spelling fart next to l, thinking it was funny, but was only mistreated once more. so to get back at them again, he spelt a "bad" word, "frick". because he spelt frick everybody thought he was a "bad letter" and he became an outcast, only to become later on, the monstrous F that died and lived as a "bad letter". edit: he didnt spell frick on purpose, he was pushed, and then made an outcast for it
And I love how most of us have the misconception that like "oh, F is the villain of the story because of the meme to press F to pay respects, so that's why he kills everyone". Then the whole background unfolds lol

N’s story is sad too. I think the implication is that N turned into Z. He was so sad about F’s death being his fault that he hunched over on his side, and stayed there until all the emotion drained from him, turning him white.

There’s so many little details in this, like the punctuation marks that have unique powers that reflect to the actual ones, G calling the letters in Morse Code, the word Coward when lowercase n zooms out towards f, the fact that LMNOP is a superhero team because it goes fast in the alphabet song, when N is a superhero he is Ñ, X having to multiply with an asterisk. It’s insane that a series with this many small details has so little views. Seriously underrated!

Z's Punctuation Mark is an Ellipsis "...", used for ominous tones or silence, and Zs are usually used ti depict the sound of snoring (idk why that was always written like that). So from what we can infer is that Z is the silent watcher, asleep yet awake to see the tragedy of this civilization unfurl into chaos and treachery.
And ñ is angry at all of them for forgetting they exist

I was expecting N to evolve into Z and kill F but they took it in a different and ultimately better direction where they humanized F and explained his actions, which also deepened the running theme of N's cowardice and gave an origin story for the punctuation marks, as well as explaining why Q was chasing them the entire time. Truly one of the masterpieces of our time.

He’s lived for thousands of years (hence the cracks, to show that he is an ancient entity) and has witnessed thousands of tales. He’s crying because despite being the most omnipotent being, he couldn’t interfere.

When I was a child (and still now) I would love to make stories out of basic things like colours or cards, but everytime I would get stuck on the origin or who their parents were, that would always mess with my brain and make me feel guilty that my stories didn't make sense. But after watching this video and how Z turned out to be the planet, I realised that it's not about the biology but about the creativity.

The music at the end, Y being used as a punch-line, the letters being able to form words, the backstory, the use of the punctuations as special gems, and how the lowercase and uppercase letters meaning age. Each letter is introduced in order, you never see them before their place in the song comes up! It's all, perfect! 10/10 would watch again, anytime.

I came to this thinking I'd see something stupid, and this is a true hidden gem. You made this so well done that it sends a great message about friendship and bullies. Z feels so bad for F in this situation, and he couldn't do snything about it since he holds all the other letters up. And F was blinded by revenge that N had to make the ultimate sacrifice and kill his only childhood friend who turned evil. Truly a masterpiece.
one thing that i don't see a lot of people talking about is that F still wanted to be friends with N because if you look when Q is about to spit out the ? it spells out "FRIENDS" on the wall, but everyone is dead meaning F was collecting those specific letters and planned to bring N all along just so he could be friends again

14:38 is the saddest part for me, let me explain
After mostly all the letters abandoning f, Q was the only one left behind, meaning they left him behind before, Q could never catch up with them ever since childhood, and finally got to tell them the truth using the question mark jewel but it was too late, finding everyone dead, q has the same expression on his face, tiredness, and sadness. Notice how Q, L, and O were one of the only main letters left behind, my theory is that F is going to come back from the jewel he used from X, cloning himself. And finally take revenge on L and O, possibly foreshadowing what they did to him, just like all the other letters. F pushes L and rolls over O or flattening O. But leaves Q unharmed, because Q never acted violent against F since he was too slow. Back to 14:38, you can see Q’s eyes shot up and moving a bit, showing he just saw trauma nobody wished they had, Q tries his hardest to try and get to the other letters, to warn them about impending doom, but he was always too slow. Also if you see it from F’s perspective you can see Q far behind and N hiding behind the formed word Coward, O was the only one in that word that bullied N, explaining why N is behind O and only O, also before that you get to see the form ABCDE but no F, meaning F is gone in the alphabet to them, and G couldn’t take F’s place since he was with P. Everyone forgot F and Q, and all Z can do is watch their life, while he can’t have a life. You truly did an amazing job getting emotional feeling into this story
F never did that to L or O.
But they might in alphabet lore 2.. if it ever comes out..

Q had such interesting character development, Q is seen to be this slow, snail-like character (because it's the letter after the fast l m n o p) but realizing how Q was following them and saying "Q" every time it shows up, come to find out that Q was trying to warn the other letters of the inevitable fate of all of the other letters, and every time it say "Q" it's calling out to the other letters, to warn them,
i love how x was used, it has an asterisk as their special gem and can multiply (and both the asterisk and x are used for multiplication) and then the reveal for Z, being the ground they were on the whole time,
I went into this video expecting some simple, funny stuff but nothing too much, in reality, i got a great story, great use for characters, with every little detail being intertwined with the letter. thank you Mike for blessing me with, truly, a work of art

I can't stop feeling emotional over this... it explains the effects of bullying perfectly. F was only trying to help n, but that same kindness caused him to turn into an alphabet killing machine. Q trying to warn them this whole time was really sad, because it was too late. F was killed by the one friend he loved and cared for the entire time. And Z having to watch all this helplessly made me cry along with him. :..( I felt super touched when the alphabet song started to play around the end of the video... A perfect story that should be turned into a movie some day!!!

The fact that F gets revenge on a lot of letters in the same ways they beat him up as a kid, like stomping on I, shooting something at J, and nailing T back into the ground, or how other parts are mirrored in that section, like C biting F, just adds even more to this. Okay, so, let's break some things down. Mainly, the stones
As everyone has probably figured out, each stone is a symbol of some sort. L gets a period, M gets a comma, N gets a semicolon, O gets a full colon, P gets an exclamation mark, X gets a multiplication sign (which is interesting not only because multiplication signs aren't commonly found in the English language, unlike the other stones, but also because sometimes x itself is used for multiplication), and F, or, better yet, Q, gets a question mark
And finally, there's Z, who gets an ellipse
Now, a more unknown fact might be that the power that the gems give are directly linked to their symbols
For example:
L's stone (the period) stops people in place, like how a period stops a sentence
M's stone (the comma) slows things down, like how a comma is used to slow down a sentence by taking a quick break
N's stone (the semicolon) attaches two things together, like how a semicolon attaches two sentences together
O's stone (the colon) can gravitate multiple people and attach them to one letter, like how a colon attaches multiple items to one list
P's stone (the exclamation mark) makes her incredibly fast, like how an exclamation mark is used in a sentence to emphasize a fast pace or excitement
X's stone (the multiplication sign) gives him the ability to multiply... do I even need to explain this one?
Q's stone (the question mark) gives a person full omniscience, and answers every question about life, which is, weirdly enough, the opposite of what a question mark does
And finally, there's Z, who has the ellipse stones, which signify a continuation, so, unless it gets canceled, I think a part 2 is definitely in the works
As to what that continuation is, who knows? My main guess would be that it's probably about numbers, since we now know that math exists in this universe (through X and his stone). Who knows? Maybe X will have a bigger part in this than we thought. I mean, it was a little weird how he got dispatched so easily, given that he's one of the very few characters who was gifted with a stone, and plus, while definitely painful, his wounds didn't seem all that fatal
I also feel like X and Y feel have a huge part to play in the continuation, if my theory of it being about numbers is correct, since X and Y are the main substitutes for when you don't know the value of a certain number
Plus, X and Y seem to have a deep relationship that was never really explored, introduced, or ever brought up again, so a part 2 with them getting a major role could explore that a little more.

summary:
Instead of killing all the letters, F’s main goal in the series was to kidnap all the letters in “friends” (possibly to spell the word). This is because F was friends with the letters in “friends” but it almost ended because of L & O’s bullying. Once they managed to hurt N, F got payback on L&O by spelling “fart” but that only started to make F the target for bullying. L then pushed F together with R I C and K to spell a (so-called) swear word with O getting everyone’s attention. This had made all the letters hate F and thus hurt him continuously. To me, N was just there when F tripped and didn’t mean to trip him but the problem was that he betrayed F because he was a “coward” (linking back to W’s introduction) this made F cry those Punctuation Gems and separate himself from the other letters. Lastly, when Q ate the question mark, he saw what had happened in the future and tried to warn the other letters but was just too slow.
Another thing to note:
Each of the Punctuation Gems have a superpower:
Period - Freezes Someone
Comma - Makes time slower
Colon&Semicolon - Forces letters together
Exclamation Point - Super Speed
Asterisk (*) - Duplication
Question Mark - Seeing the future

I keep wanting more. This story is incredible and tragic, and I can’t help but crave more from this world. The attention to detail is FANTASTIC. Upon rewatches you can see things such as how F shows immense disdain for L and O specifically, the fact that F puts the gem down instead of trying to fight N showing that they want something else, and how F kills J instantly because they broke F’s teeth. But honestly since F bumped into R, R should’ve been able to tell that it wasn’t intentional.
He was angry he was bitten in order to spell fart.

The thing that I love the most is that there's no dialogue yet it tells such a cool story and shows of so much personality in the characters. Obviously there's a few 'words' like why or gg, but these are just jokes and there's the spellings of coward and friends, but they wouldn't make sense without the context.
Why doesn't really count considering that its spelled y.
both gg and y while can be interpreted as word they are only implying them through the fact that saying g twice is the same as gg and saying y is the same as why.
Anyway all of this to say there was no dialogue in the sense that none of them spoke anything that could be understood as Information to us.
And obviously I am excluding the way u say a word Wich does tell the emotional state of the letter but it doesn't in my opinion count as dialogue or at least it is only a fraction of what makes dialogue.

This series was emotional and I’m not even lying. I genuinely started crying at the end. I was expecting some silly animations but instead I found a creative masterpiece. The fact that you took inspiration from something so simple as the alphabet and turned it into such a series with an awesome and deep lore is amazing! Did anyone think about the fact that "H" is a ghost. I know he died from smelling a bad fart, but can we talk about the fact that the letter "H" is usually silent in a word. such as honor, hour, honest, heir, vehicle, and vehement. My favorite thing about this is how, not only do each of the gems represent a form a punctuation, but they also all have powers relating to that.

This feels like something that would be made in 2010 or 2014 rather than 2022.
I know it must've been tragic for F and Q and even N but how about Z? Z had to sit through it all. Z witnessed everything but couldn't do anything to stop it. I think Z might have even had the most tragic story out of all of them. Z witnessed F getting bullied along with a couple other letters that didn't do anything about it. But Z didn't have a chance to do anything about it. The other letters did. Z is the only letter no one can blame yet, he had to watch it all. Z had no choice.

I feel bad for Q. His whole life he’s been slowly chasing everyone, but then they leave when Q is just out of reach, and he has to start all over again. You know I actually feel absolutely awful for F. Despite killing most of the other letter’s it’s shown in the flashback that all he wanted was just to have friends. But due to him accidentally spelling frick is what cause the other letters to cross the line on him. It’s also shown that L and O were possibly the true antagonists, even though as uppercase they were trying to help everyone Anime style try to remember that they were the ones that caused F’s violent behavior due to bullying him very badly. It’s also even more very sad with N since F just wanted to be friends with him which at first he was happy, but after the whole frick thing sadly was forced to abandon him with the other letters. So F was forced to live in a cave all alone for a long time and as he grew older knew he wanted to get revenge so decided to kill everyone that abused him after what happened in the past. Honestly I know he caused so much harm to the other letters you but can tell that all he wanted was to have a friend hence the letter F, but that abuse is what caused him to become the way he is now poor guy.
Dang, next time I see someone getting bullied, I'll just tell the people who are bullying this story.

I am firmly convinced this is one of the best examples of short-form, creative, and flat-out amazing pieces of storytelling. Characters are easily readable. The story evolves naturally and without filler. The art is creative, despite it being the literal alphabet. It even has good character development & callbacks! Bravo! This is what UA-cam was made for (and I have been on UA-cam since 2005).

I think my favorite part has to be V, due to how clever the bait-and-switch is, especially with the small details like "F"'s mouth being rounded, and in the close up they have eyelashes. It's stuff that you don't really notice on the first watch, but after rewatching it you see the clues. I like how you can interpret V's scared vibrating "Veee ;-;" as being scared of F... or concerned or disturbed by the state of P. Because remember, is it even confirmed V knows ANYTHING about what's happening? Maybe he just wants to know what happened to P, and in that sense it's clear this series wouldn't have been as good if we understood the letters.

For one, since it wasn't planned from the start, there's so many missed opportunities for cool bits of foreshadowing that are frustrating but understandable. Also, back to V's part... _why_ was "F" black/in shadow there? V wasn't shaded, literally everything in this world except for F's mountain is lit up white? Pink isn't an easy color to mix up with Black and most excuses I can give like G.U.N.(or was it M.A.G.N.U.M.? Those are the left over letters working together after that scene even-) having tunnel vision or running on adrenaline feels weird to me. What also feels weird is that the one that becomes Ñ is an incompetent C.O.W.A.R.D. and L has a flamboyant voice but turns out to be a huge jerk? Not gonna """CaNCeL""" fawkin' letters, these are all just very small nitpicks because after rewatching it around 7 times so far I've been overthinking it.

If we watched each part one by one, taking into account the rules laid out about the series currently like there only being one of each letter and the letters F kidnaps being taken in order(excluding N which might be a problem...), I'm curious what kind of words that we could've guessed he was spelling in the cave. Was it gonna include himself(it did)? Was it a swear or something evil(nope)? Who knows? It might be a fun exercise to try.

The three most tragic characters:
F - He was bullied and stuck on a cave for years and just wanted to have friends again.
Q - He knew literally everything that'll happen in the future, which is already enough to probably scar someone. But he tried to warn everyone but he was too slow. And when he did, it was far too late.
Z - He is literally the entire planet. He saw every story, including this one. Imagine being immortal and not able to do anything.

Yeah and we could make 0 the villain who was ignored for being so useless but as the math becomes more complex 0 takes place in more and more details and 1 tries to bring him back, but 2 declines because 0 is a loser. 5 tries his best to gather everyone with his simple ways but 4 accuses 5 of making the math a whole lot harder and hateable which makes 6 sad. Eventually 1 and 2 get in an argument and want to be seperated from eachother, but 12, their mother, tells them how sad it would be and how history would change so much. 2 declares that 1 is useless and goes to fight 0 to death so 1 doesn't take hold of him and let him in the math world again.
Meanwhile, 2 walks in on 0 in a lab, making a number creature. The creatures were - and another number. 2 tries to warn 0 on how this would mess up the math world, but 0 insisted it was the future. 2 didn't become convinced, and 0 strangled 2. But 2 survived, and got out of his lair. Before 2 could explain the dangers of 0, she couldn't find 1. She rushed to tell 12, but 12 told 2 that 1 was at 0's house. 2 broke down, and visited 4 for reassurance. After all, they were cousins.
2 cried in 4's arms, as 4 explained how bad 5 was. 2 didn't like 4's words, after all, they were wrong. 5 was kind and loved all numbers. 2 tried her best to convince 4 that 5 was innocent, but 4 insisted. 4 had locked 5 out of his dorm long ago, because 4 couldn't afford to have their places changed. 2 asked where 5 was, and, 4 said he was with 0. 2 had to go to 0 now, but before 2 knew it, 2 was too weak. New numbers were being invented, and, inevitably, 2 became weaker and weaker, till it was the 1st weakest number. 2 cried on how this could happen, and goes to 0's lab after days of walking.
0 explains to 2 that he has created the future. 2 didn't believe him. They were just single digits numbers, and this could be done by the weakest number ever. 0 tells 2 that this is the future again.
"Don't deny it", he says. But 2 ultimately denies it, and destroys the lab, therefore cutting 0's experiments in half, creating fractions. 0 runs away and cries, wanting to be accepted, but 2 never let him. He'd change the world for the better if it weren't for that mere excuse of a number, however, 0 did not know 2's struggles on being weak. 2 wanted to be like 12, but 1 always told 2 they were useless beginners. 2 wanted to prove 1 wrong and change the math world, but 2 was indeed weak. Therefore, 2 would want to be stronger by destroying 0's lab.
1 and 5 hid in the lab, as they gossiped over how they've finally created their project, decimals. But 5 tells 1 that 2 has destroyed everything. 1 breaks down, knowing that if 2 had partnered with 0, they could easily create beautiful things. 2 finishes the destroying and makes a lair.
2 never wanted to be the villain. 2 just wanted to be the protagonist or the sidekick that gets a plushie and their own show. 2 walks through the hallway, crying over how she never wanted this.
Meanwhile, 1 hears 2's cries. 0 and 1 partner to create a new code, binary, and that 2 could participate in it and become that cute sidekick. 0 and 1 knock on the door and tell 2 about the beautiful project they've made. 2 denies and thinks that she won't be able to do it. 0 and 1 mistook this for being simply mean and selfish, so they left 2 alone.
2 wanted revenge, even though 2 knew it was useless. They hadn't done anything..or did they?
2 lies in bed thinking of how 0 and 1 mocked 2 for being such a weird number. It was so long ago, but 2 was hurt. 2 decided to kill 0, his decimals, fractions and binary. 2 would finally put an end to this saga and euthanise the math world once and for all.
2 rushes to 0's lab, knowing it would take days for a weak number to reach the small distance. Crying, 2 pulls out a knife to kill 0, but she hears an unfamiliar voice.
"X."
The multiplication had been invented. 2 stood no chance against this lord, and thus agreed to be the double of any number in the world. It would make 2 that cute sidekick, once and for all.
But what about 5?
4 held the knife to 5's heart, pinning him down, knowing it was wrong. 4 was jealous on how strong 5 was, although they were one apart.
4 shed a tear on how they've also become the antagonist. 4 wanted to be the cool protagonist. It's not fair. It isn't.
But in the last moments of 4's grief, 5 stood up, held the knife to 4's heart and pinned him down.
"Four..I loved you throughout all of my life, but we have come to an end."
5 stabbed 4 while sobbing. 4 was then associated with death.
7 opened the door to reveal something sinister.
One of his dearest friends were killed by 5. 7 thought 4's rumours were real. 5 didn't have enough time to explain and 7 went insane, he had went to the athletic jock to the insane, crazy person he is now in a span of a few seconds.
7 hyperventilated, wanting to cope by something, but couldn't. They put him in an asylum, and 5 warned others to not visit him. 6, 8, and 9 refused to believe 5 because they had grown up with 7. 9 was the first to visit 7, and, a freak accident happened. I think we all know what happened. 7 ate 9. Blood was smeared all over the cell, as 6 watched in horror and feat. 8 could not fathom that his younger brother did something so cruel, 8 tried calling 0, 1, and 2, but nobody would respond.
What happened to 3 and 10?
3 learnt that they were related to 1 and 2. 3 was happy because 1 and 2 were having a good time doing what they love today, unaware of 4's death. 10 and 12, 1 and 2's parents, accepted that 3 can stay with them, however, in a conversation, 3 learnt something.
3 learnt that 4 was dead, and sobbed. 10 took him out for ice-cream and helped him calm down.
What about 0?
0 stayed in his lab and made a mini bedroom. He was glad that he was finally accepted into society again, and was working on algebra and calculus that night.
- 4's Funeral -
At 4's funeral, 5 read the obituary and set up the funeral. He apologized to everyone but explained 4's horrible tendencies. In the end, everyone apologized to 5 and 7 was told the news through a small paper but he was too lost to read it.
4 was a symbol of death ever since his murder, especially in Asia. This is true information, however it is not due to him dying.
- 9's Funeral -
7 did not allow for 9 to have a funeral shortly after 9's funeral. 5 insisted and told 7 it won't be much but 8 told 5 that something terrible would happen. 5 declined and made the funeral.
8 and 6 did not attend because they didn't want to be reminded of their trauma. 12, 6's aunt stayed at 6's house to help him calm down. 10 had to take care of the house and therefore could also not attend the funeral. 0, 1, 2 and 3 were the only attendees.
- 0, 1, and 2's grief -
They were the last to know 9 and 4's deaths which took a big toll on them. 0 stopped making projects because he had to help 5 with the funerals. 2 grieved more than 1, because 2 had just started her new life. 1 also had to stop projects to help 2.
- Why did 5 help with the funerals? -
Because 5 killed 4 in self defense, he knew he would have to be responsible for the funeral if he wanted to be kind. 5 was also a bit responsible for 9's traumatizing death so he also had to take on the funeral. 9 and 4's parents neglected their children, which is also what caused these deaths in the first place and also why they would refuse the funeral.
- The negative numbers -
When 2 broke into the lab, the negative numbers broke. They were, however, reinvented after a few months.
- Numeral racism -
Numeral racism was when someone would discriminate against negative or decimal numbers. Luckily, it was only 7 who did this so it was stopped.
- 8's future -
8 was also kept in an asylum because of 9's death. 6 didn't meet the same fate as 8 because 12 helped 6 through his grief. 16 was sadly on a business trip for 6 months and couldn't be there for 8.
8 was an introverted and shy person, so he refused help.

Edit: Also I wanted to add that 2's villain side was inspired by Rob from gumball (especially that one line about being a sidekick was entirely from gumball) and that 7 eating 9 was a reference to the joke. Now I'll add 2's villain arc in another reply because I'm lagging.
2's Villain Arc:
(2 was actually always a girl. Don't ask why because I don't know.)
2 walks through his lair with grief and disgust. This is not the way it should be.
"Gosh, these stupid numbers. They never understand me. They never understand how hard I've tried and how much I've wanted."
2 gets her cape and covers herself with it. 1 and 0 knock on the door but the door denies them and pushes them into the floor.
"They never understand..They never understand..THEY NEVER UNDERSTAND!"
2 floats in power as lightning strikes this world of misery.
"I'LL PUT AN END TO YOU!"
The voice can be heard, as 2 becomes 200,000, more powerful than ever before.
"0, 5. I don't think we can do this."
"1, I've surrendered. My inventions are no longer enough for 2. I miss the days were 2 wasn't like this. But, I must go."
0 walks away as 1 and 5 watch him fade from their battle.
Infront of the lair, 5 wants to put up a fight with 2, but 1 declines, knowing with one hit, they'll be already dead.
"Gosh, are you stupid? You're gonna die or become a minion."
"It's n-not fair how I'm underestimated."
5 runs away and 1 watches him in fear.
1 chases him, but he doesn't get a chance. 1 opens the door of his house and explains to 5's parents the true danger of the situation, but he can't find them. He has been talking to air.
1 tries to unlock 5's room, but he can't. It's been locked.
"Is anyone there?"
"5..I know but- I LOVE YOU!"
"I'm sorry 1, I can't feel the same way if it's my last moment."
"5! WHAT ARE YOU DOING?! YOU CAN'T EJECT YOURSELF!"
"I'm long gone."
1 starts hitting the door and crying on how much 5 meant to him. However, when 1 opened the door he knew 5 was dead. Long dead with no revival. Through these moments of pain 2 had already been prepared to destroy the world that brought her misery. The city's radios flood with the message that 2 will destroy the world. 1 runs out of 5's home and hears the message all over the city that once used to be his. He watches and hears people in misery as he runs up to his father and mother.
He hugs them and sobs.
2 walks out of the lair as 200,000.
"I will spare you all one message. By one person."
1 tries his best to be Infront of the crowd and say his last words to his sister, as his father, 10, pushes him to the front.
200,000 gives a microphone to 1.
"Dear sister, You have won. In a far universe you have not. You have helpt us in our last moments in that uni-"
1 is shot by 200,000 for reminding her that she once used to be weak.
She heads to the lair and the clouds turn black.
Everything goes black, and the math world is finally euthanised just like how 200,000 wanted it to be.
A flood of guilt fills her, but she ejects herself fast enough.

Spoilers ahead:
When A, B, C, and D were introduced we had gotten a lot of their personality however it was short lived when we see F for the first time, this series antagonist. F brutally mauls D in E's face savagely. We then see his cave where he traps E and D. Major points in the series. We then meet our most important protagonist G. Who is attacked by F. By calling C, A and B they are able to form a Cab with the unity of G. They stroll for a while before we meet H the ghost which acts as a hiding place for F. Which was crucial since G plotted revenge. F then inhales and spits out H disrespectfully. We next see I whi gets Pixar'd by F. F then united with I and uses its powers to disintegrate J. Truly a sad death. K arrives to the scene however F uses K's power to fly around. G,A,B, and C finally meet F once more now with the powers of both I and K. After charging up a blast we meet the newest allies of the crew L,M,N,O and P. L using his curved shape to divert the aim of F and I's attack and M kick off K from the back of F. N pathetically is embarrassed by F. F is finally ready to commence in battle but first P arrives and G remembers his long lost love. When they meet once again their love reignited. Then we meet the wise Q who is very important to the plot. Q arrives to the fight when suddenly we find out that F is gone and stole N's power crystal. Truly a shock. This was also where we seen how sneaky F is. He snuck past A,B,C,G,L,M,N,O, and P all at once and stole one of the strongest items in all of Z. F then chains up I finding no more use in his power instead opting to harness the power of the power crystals. We meet R next and they are taken by R. After the protagonists argue O and L abandon N. But P helps up N building character development. P then separates A,B, and C from being a Cab. P then uses A and M to become a map. G uses the tracker on the map to find F's location which was a vital move. P proves to be an intelligent character throughout the story. Turning back into Cab, The group prepares to once again face off against F. We then cut to Q mourning the death of J just reminding us of how we lost a beloved character in the fandom. We then meet S who sadly fights F in their first scene and is sucked up by F. L finds F in a notable match. O then arrives but F uses N's power crystal of binding to apprehend them quickly. To believe that the 2 strongest members of LMNOP could be so easily defeated. They both had their crystals stolen by F. We meet 2 who doesn't stand much chance against F. T is hammered into the dirt. F spotted the protags and G is finally aware of how close they are to F. F uses L's powers and N hides behind G cowardly. MA and P split up to be of more use. M powers up preparing to carry. But is absorbed and pooped bout by F. F steals M's Crystal sadly after a long fought battle. P then uses her power of speed to absolutely destroy F but just when we think it's over F uses M's power. To little avail. P punches F with the strongest attack of theirs but F fires back with M's laser beam. P uses her powers to deflect though. This was incredibly shocking since we would soon find out that F was the creator of the crystals of punctuation he was the only one able to tap into its true potential. This is arguably more intense than the final fight arc. F forfeits and prepares to face G when suddenly F smells N's cowardice. C struggles to help but is bound by F using N's crystal to B. C bites F in the gluteus maximus the weak spot of any letter. F kills C in front of A who could only watch in horror since he was bound to T who was rooted into the earth. Definitely the worst death in the series P glares in shock and G tears up N watches in disbelief. F then attacks P to hurt G the most knowing they love each other. Taking her to his lair. The effects of F's crystals wear off from distance however the group is sad and everyone is more driven from C's death. B is left behind by the group from being put out of commission.
The group mourns and a season of filler later we cut to our next new character, U. G and N had came up with a plan to unite with U after a season of filler of searching they had found them and made GUN. We meet V who is attacked by F when suddenly Gun aims saying the notorious quote "GG" before shooting straight through F. They separate and when they get closer they notice the pink hue. It wasn't F. It was P asking for help from V. Everyone who watched that scene screamed and burst into tears when they seen P die. G raged and vowed to kill F as F chewed the corpse of P. V joins the crew form van since both B and C cannot help form cab for fast transportation. A few eepisodes later we meet W in a memory of N's. N has been traumatized by F as they approach is cavern. We meet Q next seeing the approaching battle between X and F. Probably the best fight since P vs F. X was heavily brought up by the LMNOP squad as the strongest in all of Z so this battle was heavily awaited. X uses the power of his crystal to use Kage Bushin or Shadow Divide to buy time for the protags. F let's go of his crystals surprising X. X does the same. F fought harder and without the crystals X was nothing. F only tricked X to steal his crystal. F takes all of the crystals and enters his cave. Y, X's sidekick and comic relief was devastated after watching the entire fight. Yelling in sorrow of her beloved ally. F finally spits out S when suddenly the crew arrives at F's cave, AGNUV and M. N finds the trail of gems that F laid down as he stumbled through the cave. They explore around searching for F. N sees L's crystal and realizes what might've happened to them but takes the gem anyway trying to prove O and L wrong for abandoning him. F sees the glow from the crystal and spits out R out before grabbing M,A,G, and U . leaving N by himself, collecting the crystals. Using X's crystal, F creates an illusion forcing N into the same room with him. After a long Chase. N finally sees F once more. F drops X's crystal near N's. N seeing all of the corpses uses one of the Crystals power to bring his own crystal to him. With all of the powers combined he was able to turn into NU (a letter in the Greek alphabet related to N also representing the word N ultimate)N Ultimate uses all of the powers to onliterate F in one shot. All of the survived minor protags watch the rainbow of powers shoot through the sky. The effects of F wear out and the protags are released. Suddenly N notices that the letters F targeted spelled the word friends perfectly. Y arrives asking why F did this. Suddenly the legendary Q arrives and shows them his own crystal where the group sees back in time to when they were lowercase. Probably the saddest moment in media history. The letters F,R,I,E,N,D and S were just doing their little dancy dance when O and L prepare to shoot at the group. R,I,E, and D had already left. O and L aimed at N knocking them unconscious. Thousands of fans raged at the screen and suddenly were shocked by this, me included. F helps up N wanting to be friends. F, angry at O and L as they laugh at them. Grabs T,R and A to form the word fart to embarrass L. L coming from the Thicc lineage was the perfect target. The entire alphabet laughed at L as he sweat. H had smelled it and died hence why H is a ghost. Fart disessembles and O and L exact revenge by beating F up. F then cried solid tears which would soon turn into the power crystals. L then pushes F into R,I,C and K who is just in it's larval stage spelling frick. Out of context the alphabet assumes F made a nono word. R,I,C and K are angry at F for something he didn't do the entire alphabet beats the living feel out of F. F then trips over N thinking that N did that on purpose. L,M, and O ally with N against their will to stand against F. F makes the Q crystal from his tears then making the N crystal after N hides behind O. F vows to exact revenge one day and enters F mountain while accidently crashing into G and P smooching. P then aquires her crystal and so do the others. Q finds their crystal seeing the future events or in this case present events. Q tries to alert the alphabet but isn't the fastest. A sad rendition of the theme song "The Alphabet" was played which honestly made me tear up. N turns back once more as time passes though he is forgotten. causing Z to cry. Z was shown at the end being a large surprise character to the audience some making up his appearance in many ways or predicting the fabled Z which happened to be the planet as explained earlier.An amazing series finale...

After this part, F seems like an even sadder antagonist, after F was outcasted and abandoned all they wanted were their friends back. It now makes sense why they only took R,I,E,D and S and tried to take N hostage. It’s because they just wanted to spell “Friends” and not be all alone for the rest of who knows how long anymore. Who knew a story about the alphabet could be so deep with story? Not me, that’s for sure

i love how F's backstory began when he was a little f and he was bullied and mistreated. he got back by spelling fart next to l, thinking it was funny, but was only mistreated once more. so to get back at them again, he spelt a "bad" word, "frick". because he spelt frick everybody thought he was a "bad letter" and he became an outcast, only to become later on, the monstrous F that died and lived as a "bad letter".
