The role of Loki didn't become this way because of how it was written, it came about because Tom made it his. And that made it the iconic Loki we all know today.
It is the same for other iconic marvel characters. Marvel did a gamble but it paid off great.

Loki was written very well in Thor 1, they’re the guys who wanted to make him sympathetic. Mad respect to those writers, they’re the ones who wanted to make Loki an unsure youth and who gave us the Vault scene.

So glad Hiddleston is getting the recognition he deserves. He's been on the scene for a long time--more famous in England than here for all his work. The fact that he is such a good actor with all that training is why is is such an iconic super villain.

The 7 year old in all of us need these shows, especially in these trying times. Wanda vision was a masterpiece, paying homage to tv throughout the decades, Falcon and the Winter soldier was action packed and morality exploring. I’m very looking forward to Loki👍

When they first premiered that Marvel was going to make shows for Disney+ I was most looking forward to Wandavision. To its credit, Wandavision was amazing, but Loki, looks to take it up another notch. First episode was incredible.

I've had such unrealistically high expectations for this series and after watching episode 1, I must admit that I was still overwhelmed. I am so utterly impressed by this show so far and I cannot wait for the upcoming episodes.
Somebody needs to cast Tom Hiddleston and Michael Fassbender as enemies in a movie. It will be the movie of the year. Their chemistry would be perfect.
