Excellent footage of the ocelet Jason - I can see why you were so excited 😊 and thank you for providing the names of the various animal species, that enhances the enjoyment of watching your videos when the viewer knows what they are looking at 😊
That is one of the things I love about Arizona. The incredible diversity of life. Both animal and and plant life. In addition, the different eco zones. I have lived in AZ for over 50 years and I will never get tired of it or fail to be amazed.
Hi Jason!!! So thrilled to see you getting the recognition and popularity you deserve! You put in so much good and thoughtful work into capturing the great animals here in Arizona!!! Thanks for posting!!!
Your recent videos seem to be "spot-on" in the last few months! Great captures! Your hard work is paying off, and it really isn't hard at all when you love what you are doing! You've been rewarded richly and I am happy for you. My sisters are now enjoying your AZ videos too!
what a magnificent cat and thank you very much for sharing. you are doing a great job and i enjoy watching your footage, of because the animals we don't have in europe. wonderful to see how animals are coming back. finally, after 50 years, the anatolian leopard has been sighted in turkey again. unfortunately, there is no significant population left and the trophy hunters are not afraid to kill even the last ones. what pathetic creatures humans are. greetings from switzerland and i watch regularly! it's so beautiful.
Loved your video 🥰 so wonderful to see these animals and thank you for naming them for those of us who aren't familiar with them... live in Australia 😉
That’s amazing. Such a beautiful cat. I have 2 trail cameras set up in my neighborhood green belt in San Antonio. Amazing how much wildlife I capture. I look forward to checking the cameras weekly to see what I got.
Is this not the best!! Enjoyed all of this footage. How awesome to see an ocelot, period, much less rubbing its face/glands. Also, the sunlight hitting the golden grass and bear's coat as it came through is beautiful. Happy for your camera catches!
I saw one in east Texas , near Nacogdoches, in 87 , it was about 11 pm I was driving home from fishing, and was down in the bottoms, nothing but woods around for miles. it crossed the road on front of me at about 100 feet.
Wow, that ocelot certainly announced his presence with authority, he really gave that log some special treatment. Beautiful animal, glad they are around in remote areas.
I really enjoy your videos. Especially liked seeing the turkeys. We used to watch them while camping in Nebraska years ago. Thank you for your posts. Looking forward to more.
Jason you picked a great spot for that trail cam. The footage from the Ocelot was great. I grew up in Bisbee and roamed that countryside countless times through the years capturing visuals of Mountain Lion, Couse Deer, Cooties etc. First time seeing an Ocelot there. Would be interested in knowing just where this is located. Fine work Sir.
Awesome thanks for posting! I knew there are a couple of jaguar up there, I had seen a video of long ago that there was a new one spotted up there. Thank you for not disclosing the place where your cam was! It's so exciting! I can see it on your face too! I'll keep following you now that you came up in my feed!
Howdy Jason glad to see the ocelot is still around. As of 2023 a friend said there are two male jaguars in that area , hopefully they will lure in a female. Enjoyed watching thanks.
@@JasonMillerOutdoors yeah definitely 💯, y’all got one of the males on camera so far, so hopefully he’ll show his buddy the camera 😂 👍. There territory used to stretch all the way up to the Carolinas on the northeast side. But hunting and habitat loss forced them back into Mexico and thankfully they are now rediscovering their old stomping grounds in Arizona. I’m hoping they will make a comeback.
That really is something. I never thought to consider whether ocelots would be found as far north as into the United States. What I looked up says that there are some still only in southern Texas, whatever that means. Another article talks about seeing one in Arizona about a year before the one you have on camera. Who knows, maybe next you'll see a margay, which reportedly hasn't been seen in the United States since the 1850s.
😮 wow! I recently moved to Arizona and have seen some wild turkeys, mule deer, a raccoon sitting on my wall out back, roadrunners, 2 owls in the same tree (up in the Santa Rita mountains) at Madera Canyon..some mule deers, javalinas and coyotes of course 😂and 2 rattlesnakes (also of course 😬) and I literally walked right under a tree with a mountain lion sitting on the top! ( O had gone on FB live and it was pointed out to me After the fact!😬😆) but I haven’t seen a Cotamundi or bears yet lol 😆 ..Anyway I just subscribed to your very interesting channel. I’m in GV near Madera Canyon and just wondering 🤔 what part of Southern Arizona are you seeing these fascinating critters at??? Thanks so much for sharing these! I may be watching your channel for awhile tonight! 😂

It's hard to believe these animals are only a few minutes away from my house! Amazing!

There have been some ocelot sightings at the Laguna Atascosa Preserve in far south Texas.
Thank you so much for sharing this amazing footage Jason :) beautiful animals and you definitely picked the right trail to put the camera on.
Thank you so much, Rose!

Most of my footage is in the mountains south of Tucson.
@@JasonMillerOutdoors I was thinking that may be where you are. Such a BEAUTIFUL area!!! 😊

🎉
Good stuff Jason!
Thank you!
With all of these trail cameras in the wild I wonder why no one has got a Bigfoot video?
Right!
You in southern AZ?
Yes
Seemed to me it's a female and she is in heat.
It is a male
