Building community is HARD but not impossible. We are in the era of people watching the IG stories but no engaging at all. Surveillance is NOT support. 🫠

@18:00 so glad Dav checked the dude saying ego is a black issue. I lived in that city for 7 years and there's always some events happening. I miss that aspect of that city. You have to come out of the house and STAY plugged-in and go support even in WINTER.

As a whole black people do gatekeep from each other. The people on the panel have skill sets that people have to pay for to have access to. It’s the same thing. It’s very tiring because a lot of people do have ego issues. That’s just the reality. You get tired of being told no, or people not showing up.
