- I spent one week in Yangshuo (Guilin, Guangxi China) and saw some of the most stunning views in the world. It is famous for its fabulous Karst formations and the Li River with the cormorant fishermen. I have tried to capture its beauty in this short film and hope you enjoy it!

I spent about a week there too and the place is the one to beat. I've never spent as much time looking out a window as when I was there. I remember renting a scooter for most of the time I was there, but had to stop every other 5 minutes to actually absorb it's beauty. I know it's sounds cheesy, but this is how it really felt.
We are chao theus (chu tian) comiunity from north east Assam, India, came from yangshuo before 4000 years ago. We are really connected yangshuo people. And we are same boat brother. In Assam their are30 lacks chao theus people living in Assam,,,, love you

Heel mooi gedaan Daan! Ik heb een half jaar in Xi’an gestudeerd in 2015, erna een zomer rondgereisd. China heeft de mooist natuur die ik in mijn leven heb gezien, en specifiek Yangshuo en XingPing zijn plekken die ik me nog herinner als de dag van gister. Adembenemend mooi, overal verborgen uitzichten, grotten en natuurlijke bergformaties. Dit is ontzettend mooi gemaakt en precies zoals ik mij het daar herinnerde.

Dit zijn echt ontzettend mooie beelden Daan. En wat een geweldige edit. Knap dat je zo dicht bij mensen durft te komen met zo'n grote gimbal en zoveel mooie dingen hebt bezocht daar. Ik denk dat je best wat uurtjes hebt rondgelopen daar. Dit is echt prachtig, en de dronebeelden zijn ook heel mooi uit de edit gekomen.
Mooi stukje China dit...Als reisleider in China was ik hier regelmatig. Wel zou ik goed kijken in welk seizoen men gaat. Dit gedeelte van China heeft een groot deel van het jaar een sub-tropisch klimaat (en zware regens kunnen je parten spelen). De cruise van Guilin naar Yangshou is zeker een aanrader. Weststreet is altijd buzzing veelal met Chinese toeristen. 'The Giggling Tree', waar een Nederlands echtpaar de scepter zwaait is een overnachting waard. Verder is het leuk om een fietstochtje te maken door de rijstvelden met de uitstekende punt-karstgebergte. Overige leuke uitstapjes zijn: soft rafting op de Yulong river en een bezoekje aan de machtige show 'Impression Sanjie Liu'....Ach, je verveelt je hier niet...Aanrader dus als je China bezoekt. Een mogelijke route kan zijn: van Xi'an naar Guilin met het vliegtuig, overnachten in het 'Guilin Bravo Hotel' -staf spreekt redelijk goed Engels- twee dagen rondkijken daar en dan met een cruise over de Li river naar Yangshou...! Bedankt voor de mooie shots...Heb je ook nog met een 'slider' gewerkt? Daan?

Incredible video. Anyone else notice the swastikas near the end? Of course it has a very different meaning in China, but still very shocking to see on a banner.
Its not just a different meaning, rather its a whole different symbol all together. The Nazi symbol is tilted and the arms are pointing the other way.
