  • Every Sunday we'll drop another video as a part of a "day by day" series from the trip Joe Rotter @ Red's recently hosted in Patagonia. It's raw, real, and a fishing-focused documentary of a week at Cinco Rios and Estancia Del Zorro Lodges where we love fishing and host trips.
This is a 7-day series and you'll see lakes, small rivers, big rivers, and spring creeks. Filmed daily and all in a single week of fishing. Day 2 we drove to a lake in the mountains and used beetle flies to imitate the large Cantaria Beetles that inhabit the shoreline!

Patagonia is definitely trout capital. I think if you guys out west would fish here in West Virginia on our small creeks you’d be amazed at the wild trout population. The creeks either hold browns or bows and sometimes both. Some of our brown trout creeks hold 20 -27 “ trout. It still blows my mind of the abundance of big wild trout in some of our creeks. Crazy good video, thanks!!!!!

While I couldn’t agree more, they can stay out there and leave WV alone lol

Thanks, really just a pristine environment with the added bonus of dry fly fishing for Brown trout. Really cool region.

@1:02, I broke a Scott rod in that Jackalope tube. I had four rods in it and the only one that broke was the Scott. I had that tube with me the whole time on my way back from a trip. It was in the overhead compartment. I have no idea how this could have happened but I was pissed! I am now very skeptical to use it again.

Oh I think its' fun and ok if guests have bugs they love to fish, or tied themselves. It's good energy rarely "standoff'ish". They figure it out eventually haha. You know it's more than just about catching fish out there of course! :)
