  • The first ever english speaking Breslov Yeshiva opens this Elul!
Throughout the world, there are countless bachurim who are connecting to the teachings of Rebbe Nachman and finding new inspiration in avodas Hashem. These amazing neshamos yearn to grow in Torah, Tefillah, and Emunah. They want to live a life of fulfillment and happiness - with the strength to overcome the tests of this world.
The purpose of our yeshiva is to provide a home for these bachurim. In this home, bachurim can deepen their knowledge of Mishnah, Gemara, and Halachah. We have a dedicated and supportive staff and a tailor-made curriculum to help bachurim acquire Smichah, Shas, and a true connection to the Torah.
In addition, we have a garden where bachurim can discover insight and understanding in Likutei Mohoran and the ways of chassidus, and receive the amazing spiritual inheritance of Rebbe Nachman, as it has been passed down from generation to generation.
Rav Kalmus, studied at Yeshivas Nosson Meir in Queens, NY, where he received Semicha from Rav Aharon Walkin, zt”l. R’ Kalmus spent a number of years learning in Rav Walkin’s kollel, gaining proficiency and expertise in fundamental areas of halacha such as kashrus and hilchos
Shabbos. R’ Kalmus is currently a talmid of Rav Nissan Dovid Kivak, shlita. In 2020, R’ Kalmus founded the organization “Tzion Breslov Project,” which has been disseminating the transformative wisdom of Rebbe Nachman to Jews of all backgrounds throughout the English speaking world via online chaburos, live shiurim, weekly newsletters, and a diverse host of technological platforms. Additionally, R’ Kalmus has given thousands of shiurim on the teachings of Breslov.

Such a beautiful thing..I’m shocked that all of these years they’ve never had an English speaking place to learn the Teachings of Breslov
With so many people coming back to Yiddishkeit!!! Y’all should be Motzliach in this journey..

      From Wikipedia:
Nathan of Breslov (January 22, 1780 - December 20, 1844), also known as Reb Noson, born Nathan Sternhartz, was the chief disciple and scribe of Rebbe Nachman of Breslov, founder of the Breslov Hasidic dynasty. Reb Noson is credited with preserving, promoting and expanding the Breslov movement after the Rebbe's death. Rebbe Nachman himself said, "Were it not for Reb Noson, not a page of my writings would have remained."

Rebbetzin Estelle this was the most inspiring interview, I think that inspiration for the nation gave!! A woman who is 93 years old and is still as brilliant and on the ball and funny, is just amazing.
Your relationship with Hashem and how you’re so devoted to keeping Mitzvos is “inspiring”
And something we can all learn from !!
    Thank you

Friends of mine went there for yeshiva.. it is located in Meah Shearim I believe.. the Rosh yeshiva is Rabbi Ehrman… I am pretty sure they consider themselves a “Breslov yeshiva” but I could be wrong… and also Yeshiva Shalom Rav rabbi Weingot in Tzfat.. I am sure this new yeshiva is coming to bring something new but I am sure one can claim the first and only…

Having the people who are involved in a Yeshiva be very into Breslov Chassidus or even to have the name of a Yeshiva be based on an explicit lesson of Likutey Moharan is not the same as being a Breslov Yeshiva which is fully and exclusively dedicated to teaching, learning, practicing, and living with the unique spiritual path of Rebbe Nachman of Breslov Zt”l. The other Yeshivas mentioned in the above posts could very well be highly inspired and positively influenced by the teachings of Breslov Chassidus, but these institutions are not solely dedicated to the task of creating an entire Yeshiva structure, schedule, staff, trip itinerary, learning environment, and learning seder based entirely on the time honored traditions of Breslov Chassidus and Rebbe Nachman of Breslov Zt”l with the focused and clear intention of cultivating within the students the capacity to live a life fully and authentically based on the wisdom, advice, and exhortations of Rebbe Nachman of Breslov Zt”l. B”H, many individuals in our generation are very much interested and personally invested in Breslov Chassidus and some of these people even become the leaders of learning institutions or places of social gathering, but it doesn’t mean that the institution they are involved with or represent is exclusively dedicated to the spiritual path of Rebbe Nachman of Breslov Zt”l.
