I appreciate how chill you are about it to, like I say to others, there's nothing easy about it, but make it look easy. I know all the dozens of extra hours put in every week, and all the nuances you learn and implement that others don't to be a high achiever.
Travis I gotta say that second part of the vid where you were talking about how far youve come and still staying humble, to enjoy what you have accomplished and not feel guilty about it but at the same time not count it towards how much you value yourself, really hits home and was well spoken. Thanks for being a great role model on youtube in the midst of stupid and crazy youtubers, you stand out as someone people can look up to, esp all the younger generations watching. 100% agree, this really hit home for me too. We moved to the US back in 1982 when I was only 3 years old. My mom raised me and my brother on $20K a year and we lived in a doublewide for 25 years on a mile long gravel road. Fast forward 20 years after college graduation, my wife and I have 2 beautiful kids, an almost paid off $850K house on 9 acres and have a new black 2022 RST on order coming in at the end of this month. I’m beyond grateful and thank God everyday. My mom had a $900 Mazda hatchback when we were growing up, and she’s since moved out of that doublewide too. She has a nice paid off two story home and just got a Lexus NX last year too.

Paycheck to paycheck hoping one day to own a house but not seeing any forseeable path to ever being a homeowner. It was rough but as a kid I never felt it, I never felt like we lived paycheck to paycheck and I was happy as a kid even as my parents were struggling. Fast forward to now my sister and I are college educated and have great careers to take care of ourselves. They had it rough so that we could have it easy.

You should get a good paint sealant on it while it’s still new. I just did my and my wife’s new vehicles with Turtle Wax Ice Seal and Shine. I highly recommend this brand if you decide to do it because it works great and it’s very user friendly.

I do plan on getting the z71 version of the Tahoe but I want the bench seat so I can just remove the third row

I love that quote, it encompasses the constant drive to be better but also be proud of where you've come from. To always keep working and be proud of the person you've become but never give up the drive.

Greg, you're killing me with these dark filters on the videos. The only time I can see Travis is when he is in the kitchen. Not to mention the dark overcast day, people don't want to watch a drab dark video.
I would strongly suggest a ceramic coating on the truck if you bought it and plan to keep it for 5 years. It’s about $1,000 but you will never have to wax your vehicle and it help protect the paint especially black 😱 That’s a whole lot of seats ! Looks like it may be time to start filling them lol 👶🏻
