New subscriber looking forward to your videos ☺️I’m currently looking into programs and I can’t decide if I should do a lpn to rn program ,Asn or Bsn .I’m interested in working as a travel nurse and if I had to be stationed I’d want to be in the emergency room or ICU .I also am located in Atlanta and im having a hard time finding a program .What would you suggest ?

i’m not too familiar with asn or lpn programs but i’ve heard they help save money and that a lot of hospitals will pay for your bsn program afterwards! i went straight for my bsn at my state university (GSU). the tuition is great as an in state student, but the program is VERY competitive. i’d look at GSU (both state & southern), KSU, Augusta if you’d be okay with that drive or South College for ASN & BSN. 🩷

if you have the drive for it, there’s a lot of work involved but I wouldn’t say it’s necessarily difficult. The first 2 years of prerequisites are definitely more challenging than actual nursing school!
