Unfortunately, I'm still having issues with one hub in particular (the Razer headset stand/USB hub) when the PC restarts unexpectedly (such as after a power outage). I'll have to shut down, unplug it, restart, and then plug it back I'm after boot is complete.

Method 2 fixed my problem, and so far file explorer recognizes and can open the usb, (honestly I had no hope of being able to fix it, because I had pulled out my usb when it was still flashing. I figured that it'd be fine because I'd done the whole "eject usb disk" thingamajig, but I was sorely mistaken), and again, thank you, you saved a good couple of artworks and songs I've made and saved on my usb. I've already tried methods 1 to 5 and sadly it dosen't solve my problem... I wanted to try method 6 however I don't know much about BIOS so I don't wanna risk it. My problem here is that whenever I tried connecting my flash drive to the usb port it kept disconnecting and reconnecting... My flash drives are working fine when connecting to other devices. I have 4 usb ports behind my unit and 2 of them are used for my mouse and keyboard (the port works perfectly fine) I connect my flash drive on to the empty slots and the result was that it kept disconnecting and reconnecting my flash drive... i tried switching my mouse and keyboard to the empty usb slots and again, it works perfectly fine... i tried my flash drive connecting to the usb port where my mouse and keyboard is previously connected... and well it kept connecting, disconnecting again... I really don't know what's the problem here... I've already updated all the usb ports... Sorry since its quarantine here at my place I don't know where else i can find help beside youtube and the internet ;_; send help please.

@@sachinsharma8750 Really not sure if our issues are similar, yet we recently triggered 'Code43' while plugging the USB cord we've always used into our device. The cord side damaged the device USB plug-in port. Possibly there-in lies your cause. Bad cord, a bad port on device? The reason I suggest this is because these solutions also failed to help our dilemma as well. Good Luck!

3:39 The driver reinstallation is most likely the same thing that happens when you "scan for hardware changes" (I'll check this momentarily). No need to reboot the machine in this case, just delete the driver then scan for hardware changes.
I flashed my Redmi 9i with MediaTek Bootloader Unlock tool, it worked on my POCO M2 Device but this error came to my Redmi 9i , It did run some commands , then my Redmi 9i device just went black. Now I connect the device to USB Port then this error is coming.

Jan 22 2023: In my case only Method 4 worked (powering off the pc, waiting 30 seconds, then restarting)! I would not have thought about doing this which is not described as a fix anywhere else on the net (all other methods I had tried before, except updating the bios) Was sure either drivers were corrupted or 3 of the USB A ports and a USB C port were fried. Thankfully that was not the case, now all is fixed, THANKS to you! I am using Windows 11.

For who ever is reading this and has tried all 4 methods and none has worked with them then let me tell you that I have experienced the same thing until getting to the 5th solution. what I basically did for my Dell laptop was to just literally 1) hold down the off/on button, forcing the laptop to shut down. 2) then I turned it on and as soon as it turned on I restarted. 3) After the restart I unplugged and plugged my device to see if it would get recognized... and voila! My dualshock 4 device got recognized and when I open the device manager I no longer see an unrecognized device. now I can play on my pcsx2 emulator without an issue! Thanks again uploader!
@@ArtCulturZ power supply (in my case which was a laptop) was my charger, if you have a Desktop PC then it would be your power supply, which is the same thing to connect after PC restarts. But try the preceding methods before you get to solution number 5, I recommend that.

Yes, Method 3 worked! Do you know I had literally wasted hours for figuring out what actually happned. And this is not for the first time that it happened. Previously, when I used to connect my vivo phone to my pc the same thing happened, and nothing actually worked but after I did a factory reset which uninstalled the updates on my phone, then it ran smoothly! For those who didnt fix this problem with method 1 to 6...dont be sad, do method 7 (BIOS UPDATE) or even better get someone who knows what he is doing if you dont know how to use BIOS settings and such! Upadating BIOS should fix problems like this immediately. But...in case if that doesnt help maybe you damaged the USB port or what i saw couple of times there is always some dirt, spider webbing or even candy (YES CANDY) and stuff like that preventing PC and hardware to properly communicate. Try to clean it as careful as possible!!!

But...in case if that doesnt help maybe you damaged the USB port or what i saw couple of times there is always some dirt, spider webbing or even candy (YES CANDY) and stuff like that preventing PC and hardware to properly communicate. Try to clean it as careful as possible!!!
Sir i have first connected a data external drive then after that whaterver am connecting via usb ports its telling device not recognised
Bro, all my other devices are connecting except my tablet
and in troubleshooting, there is no option to configure device
If your device not fixed after the video then throw it in dustbin
