Hate to be that guy, but big mergers tend to lead to smaller projects like this getting shuttered entirely and wider layoffs, so I don't think there's great odds of Microsoft hiring people on for this game

17:28 during that fight you had a -50 debuff to healing dont know where it came from but thats why you healed so little and die.
Of the three characters he's engaged with, only Lucio has a talent that reduces healing: The level 20 upgrade to High Five (ultimate) lets him use it to deal damage to an enemy and debuff the target with -50% healing for 3 seconds.
The rest of his team was busy fighting dehaka and diablo instead of who they actually should be killing.
Man, I miss the Alpha days with the Squadron. This was the ONLY MOBA ive ever played for any real duration. And it was all kuz of you, and the rest of the team. I miss all of you.
Fox plays a mean Zagara, great maws and great hero damage
I think the healing aspect of the locust vs rewind is if you're going to sprint or jog. if you are having quick decisive team fights then rewind will help a lot more. but it's very resource intensive on an already resource intensive char. Locust just works. no mana required. so you can poke more. have more back and forth in longer fights.

Anub’arak is one of my favorite Warcraft characters and my favorite HotS character. Super happy with how they did him

I always take traitor king on anub, just a wierd amount of tankiness. Also locust swarm is an insane amount of healing in waves if I recall.
You have to give your level 10 beetles time before they start returning health. It takes forever for them to travel. Also, the speed talent at level 4 helps a lot more than bed of spikes.
Ever since that tank rework they did like 8 years ago where they split tanks into armor vs spell armor Anub has lost almost all of his ability to scrap. Even going full durability Anub still feels like the squishiest tank and he really "tanks" by CC chaining the enemies so they can't hit him back and anything that gives him more CC, better CC or lower cooldowns is actually his effective durability talents. His single target lockdown is incredible and if you just need to kill 1 person he's an amazing tank but this Diablo like playstyle of scrapping and 1v5ing is just not how Anub works and even if you try to build him to do that he probably loses every 1v1 to every damage dealer character in the game.
I miss the gameplay tower ammo enabled even if it definitely needed tweaks
im kinda glad they got ride of the whole ammo thing for towers. yes it changed play styles but it seemed way to dirty for me at times haha

It got a patch last month. Just some hero fixes but at least its not dead.

I forget the group games you used to play with other streamers/UA-camrs, but I think it would be fun to do that again, if you feel like it. I wonder if it would be terrible to play a game with as many heroes that spawn minion as possible. Anub'arak, Xul, Abathur, Malfurion, Sylvanas maybe? Who am I missing? Anyway, keep up the great work. I love the channel as always.

The way to do it is with a Tyreal, he can use smite to give the summons movement and attackspeed plus the shielding ofcourse. Zagara Azmodan and Abathur is probably the best summoners, but Nazeboo has the tankiest summon with his ulti.

Wasn‘t there an interaction with beetles and Anub‘s cleave? Back in the day?
The learning curve between what you can heal through and not heal through with Anub is a thing. Heavy burst physical damage will melt Anub. But Anub can survive heavy burst magic damage because of beetles. Of course, it all depends on RNG.
With the level 1 spell armour the W can literally tank a pyroblast and still have shield left, it's hilarious.

Murky can either be a hard carry, or he will literally gift wrap the match and hand deliver it to the enemy team. P.S. please do more hots content. Baulders gate is great and all but please more hots.

Love this stupid big bug. Anub'arak was the first MOBA character that made me fall in love with CC heavy tanks and forever changed the way I play these games.
Unfortunately the only vaguely interesting talent Anub has on 20 is Rewind, although you could try UnderKing if you go all out trying to make your character as tanky as possible you are pretty unkillable into those 2 mage comps that quite often show up. They legitimately cannot deal with you at all. Still a quite aways off second place to rewind though.... Quadruple stun OP

While it did work out the Murky probably should have gone for March on such a map and against such a team.
I feel like 18:30 kind of highlights why I personally dislike beetle build. You healed about 500 health with your ult up over the last 3 seconds. A single W would have healed for the same amount every 4 seconds (with the CDR), with the benefit of giving additional armour as well.

HotS is just so watchable from an esports standpoint, I can never understand why Blizzard abandoned it. The skins are also amazing, they could have made bank by simply porting them over to Overwatch but instead they released the travesty that is Overwatch 2. Amazing how they killed Diablo IV as well, they really are useless anymore.
They just got sold to Microsoft. Maybe we'll see them revitalize the game. One can hope.
Anubarak just feels bad to me because he's has to be one of the most fragile tanks, he also is suppose to be a mage tank but did you see how badly Medivh was chunking Anubarak. . .
Anub has been horribly over-nerfed IMO. Not only was he nerfed directly, but the blanked removal of "passive armor" hurt him the most of any character.
What you said is basically what I'm always saying; he's incredibly fragile for a Tank. I'd put him on par with "Bruisers" at best.
Biggest issue is his whole kit says "dive", but he lacks the survivability to pull it off, so it just ends up being "feed" instead.
I mean, look at other dive tanks... Diablo, Malganis, Muradin... Anub's survivability doesn't even come close.
@@linearparadox9409 I agree with you, but I think it's because his CC is weighed so heavily. They looked at his ability to just constantly CC and decided he needed to be fragile to counterbalance it all, but I think they went a bit too far. He needs more HP, and more shielding on his W (or an even lower CD on it).
That's why I like his lvl 20 talent Traitor King which actually turns him into a tank. The problem is you have to wait until lvl 20 and also give up Rewind, which is a huge sacrifice.

Like... I know CC is strong but... look at the other examples; Diablo is a CC MACHINE and they have no problem giving him a massive health bar and self-healing. Same with Malganis.
I don't know why they were so conservative with Anub's power. I know for a while he was overturned and people complained he could bully squishies in a 1v1 too well but that's an easy fix. Just nerf his auto attack damage or something. Don't strip his ability to be a tank lol 😆
Artanis, a bruiser with arguably even higher damage output than Anub, is often tankier than a "tank". And no one's complaining about Art beating down squishies in 1v1s.
Just doesn't make sense lol.
Generally I feel like they balance fairly well, but Anub is just a major outlier IMO. Maybe he was due for a rework or something before they put the game on life-support :/

Beetle is great, but it doesn't come online until late game and feels very useless until that point.

Rewind may be optimal, but it’s so… boring. I really wish they’d killed off all of those generic talents that were simply better than the themed choices, ideally by buffing the themed choices, as opposed to the route they took…
Hive master is such a bad talent for level 20. It’s so weak. Rewind is way too good and enhances the strengths of anubarak too perfectly
Rewind make an mana intensive character even more mana intensive. A tank doesn't do any good if they have to go back for mana too often. The hivemind auto attack are still active with the activated swarm ability giving even more more healing and damge. Give me constant added damage and healing verses rewind extra ability activations which can be wasted by missing or being interrupted.
