He's doing much worse than i expected
He stayed alive so in that sense he surpassed my expectations. I predicted Kamala president by the end of 2021.
That's still outperforming expectations. Just in the wrong direction.
Personally he's excited my expectations. I heard he said a sense that was completely coherent admittedly this was off cue cards and said period at the end.

I can see where he is coming from though. It worked for Obama, the media was happy to say he was doing an "outstanding job" simply because Obama said so, even if everything was falling apart. So it makes sense that Biden would assume he simply had to say he was doing a great job, and the media would parrot it and have people believe it.

Can you imagine the stress levels of the young staffers tasked with preparing him for these disastrous interactions? They're probably cringing a decade and a half of their lives away as cortisol blasts through their bodies.

My dad is 91 and has suffered severe cognitive decline in recent years. In Biden I recognise the same symptoms: rambling confusion, outbursts of anger, childishness, wheedling, moments of charm, fire getting key information, inappropriate comments. It’s sad and distressing in a family member, shocking and frightening in a world leader. His family would intervene if they really cared about him.
