Solid. Gathering fab ideas for my own table and this is rad. Either going 3/8 or 1/2 top and mag drilling holes similar to what you’ve done. This style clamp is perfect 🤟
Just a thought if you use a bolt on the end you could dual purpose the clamps or quadruple purpose by using a barrel nut you could make extension clamps with a pipe like a pipe vice. Flip the clamp around and And make a spreader
Great job. Hat off to you sir for the magnets. You had me wondering what it was all about but it all came together very well. You just need to create non magnetic spatter!!
Very stable design. If you have the standard (more or less) 5/8” holes though it’s obviously impractical. You’ve got me thinking how much.i like the stability of yours. At taller heights mine move off center quite a bit
Thank you. The holes are 10mm i guess its a 3/8 with a 12mm thread. My workshop is in the basement that why i needed a light #weldingtable. The baseblade is just 6mm thick.
hi, why did you make hole of 10mm instead of 20 mm? to be more efficient to attach other machines? thks and 2/ here why did you put "circles" on the big hole on the base blade instead of welding an squared iron plate? 6mm thick for the circle is that right ? thks a lot and GOOD GOOD JOB i'm dreaming on it to do the same but only one question : how i will do that to succeed like you ! :)
How come you don't use coolant or cutting grease @1:37 with the drill press machine? Is it because the bit is tungsten carbide and doesn't need it? I really love the portability of the drill.
WOW - what a brilliant idea. Very clever hook and magnet solution that immediately solves the drop-in clamp with a relatively thin table top (6mm). Another idea of yours that I need to implement. If you don't mind me asking, what size rod did you bend to make the hooks? Thank you ! Joel.....
What’s the name of that adjustable measuring tool you use a lot with a scribe please. It’s like a slide rule in a way. I’ve been trying to find one. Thanks

Three questions: how thick is your welding table, how large are the holes in it and what diameter rod did you make the clamp hooks from? Great idea and build!
Thank you 😊 The baseblade is 6mm thick the holes are 10mm with a 12mm tap in it. That I'm able to screw something in it. And the Hock is a 8mm rod but a harder alloy like regular steel.
