The Cinebot 30's prop guard frame cracks if you hit something head on. You don't have to be going very fast (medium speed). I've noticed cracks in the frame where the camera cage meets the prop guards, and also, for some reason, just under the antenna mount in the back (also in the plastic, prop guard frame). The cracks are forming where the two camera cage screw holes are. The plastic is very thin there and is prone to easily breaking. If you've bumped into anything, check the frame for cracks. I've ordered a new frame to replace the cracked prop guard, but if the next frame cracks as fast as this one (I received mine about a week before Christmas), I'll probably shop around for a different cinewhoop. I'm new to FPV and have mostly just been flying over grass as I am still learning. I contacted GEPRC two days ago about the frame issue but haven't gotten a response yet. I absolutely love this quad and hope I just got one out of a bad batch. I just want to give a heads up since I haven't heard much in terms of frame problems.
I bought one myself and it arrived last week. It flies just great with a full gopro 10! Its obviously heavy and not good for freestyle but even with a huge 1400mah 6s battery, its great for slow cinematic shots. With all that weight, its very tame and controlable when indoors. Got 7-8 minutes with this setup. Also flown it with a gopro bones and the same big battery, got 9-10min flight times and very agile, even with this battery which is bigger than the one they recommend... but i really like heavy quads for indoor real estate and architecture tours, so even with a whoping 620g total weight with gopro10 + 1400mah 6s, i really enjoy flying it.

I am looking to order GEPRC CineBot 30 6S TBS Nano RX version and looking to order the TBX Tango 2 controller, I am seeing there are few options out there, including new one coming soon. I was wondering which is the best one for this set up. I am planning to use it with DJI Goggles Integra, not sure if I need to consider different Goggles option as well. Thanks in advance for your reply.
I do not own a TBS TANGO 2 Transmitter so can't comment on that. However, as long as you get the CINEBOT 30 with the DJI 03 Air unit, then your FPV Goggles will work fine. As for a receiver in the drone, if you do buy the TBS TANGO 2, then the receiver should be a TBS Nano.

Hi Steve What is the best battery for 6S FPV?? We are thinking about visiting Canada from Denmark.... Where do you recommend us to stay, we want to fly drones, but it also have to be kid-friendly!??
Battery size depends on the drone being flown. Canada is crazy large, so you'd have to be extremely specific as to what town or city you are staying/visiting. If I've been to the area you are travelling to, then I may have some info.

si estas volando estabilizado es normal que se mueva para algún lado si no esta bien calibrado en betaflight. Pero lo mejor es volarlo en Acro para sacarle su potencial (y ahi no se va a mover salvo que tú lo hagas)
Easy… no one in the FPV hobby will follow or care about remote ID rules because FPV drones are not consider a Spy drone or threat because they are all flown in small areas for the joy of freestyle and going through objects.

Im thinking on getting next a tx16 with the module or a tango 2 just asking to be shure. Thanks to anyone that can help
DJI FPV Controller 2 can only talk to a DJI FPV receiver. CROSS FIRE is a RECEIVER, so you need a CROSS FIRE Transmitter to talk to it. If you get a TX16S, you'll still need to buy the CROSS FIRE transmitter module to place on the back of it.
Hi, I purchased a cinebot 30 i was wondering how long your flights normally is? At the moment, i can only fly for 3min or so out of mine with a 6S 1050MAH. No gopro, just naked thank great video
3 minutes? You must be hard on the throttle. If you do freestyle continuously then flight time is half. If you add extra camera weight it lowers flight time as well. I was certainly getting much longer than 3 mins with my setup in the video.
@@zmonstar6421 ahh. All drones use the most power in hover and slow flight. Moving forward in Acro mode at a constant height uses the least amount of power.
Hi. I’m looking into getting one of these with the O3 air unit. I’m a bit sketched out though as upon reading comments on various reviews, people are saying that you can’t get to the sd card, and can’t put the Avata nd filter on it. Can you offer any insight into these issues as it’s kind of vital to put the card and filter in use for each flight. If this is correct then surely that’s a massive design flaw and something that a company like geprc should not have overlooked and surely should correct for future?
The unit in my review was not the DJI O3 version so I can’t provide comment on the micro SD card location and access. None of the filters from the Avata fit well on the O3 due to how the camera is designed. I expect companies like Freewell to offer such filters.
Hello capitan! I recently got my pavo 25 for my first fpv drone as you recommended. I think I'm ready to go for my next drone, do you think this could be a good idea or could I go for the nazgul5 evoque?
The CINEBOT30 would be a better choice for a beginner. The NAZGUL5 is great if you have a wide open space and don't fly near people, including yourself. 5" drones really hurt.

Hey Captain drone, nice review. Question for you, I am looking to get the cinebot 30 with the dji O3, I plan on using my dji goggle 2 and fpv controller, on geprc page, which receiver option should I pick? Appreciate your response in advance.
pick PNP. Then watch videos to learn how to set your Goggles for O3 and also learn how to bind and finally watch videos on how to setup a drone in BETAFLIGHT CONFIGURATOR.
Have you tried flying it with a full size gopro?
Nope, not with a full sized GoPro
Would you recommend this for real estate indoor
Only if a qualified pilot flies it.
So this is not a sub-250.... Thank you Captain for the thorough review! Does anyone have a suggestion for the best sub-250 with 03?
GEPRC makes a good one. Check out my review of the Cinelog 20.
@@CAPTAINDRONE798 oh! Ok I will thank you! 😊 peace and love to you and yours from Rhode Island
Hi Steve
What is the best battery for 6S FPV??
We are thinking about visiting Canada from Denmark....
Where do you recommend us to stay, we want to fly drones, but it also have to be kid-friendly!??
Battery size depends on the drone being flown.
Canada is crazy large, so you'd have to be extremely specific as to what town or city you are staying/visiting. If I've been to the area you are travelling to, then I may have some info.
Great video 🎉
Thank you 😁
How would you compare it to it’s brothers the cinelog30/cinelog35 (and cinelog35 performance)?
The cinebot30 is a more modern design. The 35 is definitely faster.
Why cineBOT and how does it compare with cineLOG?
Can you explain to me the setting of how to turn the LED on and off from the remote control? thanks
Go into the MODES tab of BETAFLIGHT CONFIGURATOR and you'll see the option. Assign it to a switch.
@@CAPTAINDRONE798 thanks for the reply but i don't understand...so i put the bec of the cinebot 30 leds, and i put the third wire on the uart number 5 tx, now i have to go into mode, can you tell me more precisely how to do it? Can you give me a more detailed answer? thank you
Thank you for your kind review. Could you share your thoughts about the noise level of this drone compared to cinelog30? In the video it sounds little bit louder than cinelog30, does it? Thanks!
All of these FPV cine drones sound like a vacuum cleaner at various volumes.
I just got mine! How did you configure your LED toggle switch?
In betaflight configurator. I just went into the MODES tab and assigned a switch
If I get the Cinebot 30 with the DJI air 03 unit, do I still need a camera as well? I'm new to this.
No camera needed
Which do you think is better cineLog 30 or cinebot 30?
Both are great. I think most would go for the Cinebot due to the flight time & lights.
I have the Dji Integra goggles and Dji controller 2. Will this combo work with the Cinebot 30?
Yes, but you really need to understand what you're doing.... Watch this first: ua-cam.com/video/zPf9b-X6cFw/v-deo.htmlsi=cW_pdb6i8fA9d16B
@@CAPTAINDRONE798 Thanks, I really needed to know that, much appreciated
Nice review. Just pulled the trigger on the new version with the DJI 03 camera! How did you get the LED's to work with a switch?
When you go into Betaflight under MODES, you’ll see the option to assign a switch to the LED lights.
@@CAPTAINDRONE798 Thank you so much. Did you have to do anything with the LED strip tab? I assigned it a channel and added the Mode, but still permanently on. Thanks again.
@@DG-tv5ic I just set mine up very simply in Betaflight Configurator
Hi this one louder cinelog30 or not? Thanks
Hard to tell. FPV drones that are cinewhoops are all rather noisy
I bought this drone based on your recommendation. How do you install the tubes without breaking it?
Tubes? This is an old comment so I'm sure you have resolved the issue by now.
What's it's weight the way you were flying it. Under the .55 Lbs for the US. What happens when the USA Requires Remote ID?
Easy… no one in the FPV hobby will follow or care about remote ID rules because FPV drones are not consider a Spy drone or threat because they are all flown in small areas for the joy of freestyle and going through objects.
@@CAPTAINDRONE798 Hope you are Right. What are Planes doing below 1000' AGL except when on Base and final or an instrument approach? There is no problem if we stay out of their way.
@@HoundDogMech Those are RC planes
How about a video showing how to get this thing set up to fly rite out of the box? Binding procedure with Goggles 2 and binding to the radio using a Crossfire module in a TX16. Please and Thank you.
Have a look at my FPV FOR BEGINNERS video which will get you started: There are two episodes, one DIGITAL and one ANALOG. Both older videos, but you'll get the idea of what needs to be done:
ua-cam.com/video/LW7JzNQ7P7E/v-deo.html
ua-cam.com/video/twPV6SEwZhI/v-deo.html
would this work with the cetus pro goggles and controller
Only the Analog version would work with those goggles. The controller will not work.
@@CAPTAINDRONE798 ok thanks for telling me
Can you do a flight without the prop guards or would you need spacers to keep the drone intact?
Prop guards are part of the frame. If you remove them you’d have to 3D print something
great video, I have a question about the receivers, If I have a dji controller 2 I know Im good with taking the pnp version with the O3, but if I choose the tbs nano just to have the option in the future to change controller do my dji controller work to or I will need another controller.
Does the DJI action 2 record well at night?
If you are someone who knows how to use a camera well, then the answer is no.
@@CAPTAINDRONE798 do you have a recommendation for a camera that does?
Hi, I purchased a cinebot 30 i was wondering how long your flights normally is? At the moment, i can only fly for 3min or so out of mine with a 6S 1050MAH. No gopro, just naked
thank great video
3 minutes? You must be hard on the throttle. If you do freestyle continuously then flight time is half. If you add extra camera weight it lowers flight time as well. I was certainly getting much longer than 3 mins with my setup in the video.
@@CAPTAINDRONE798 actually i am new to drone flying, so the most i do is hover and move forward and back.
Thank you
@@zmonstar6421 ahh. All drones use the most power in hover and slow flight. Moving forward in Acro mode at a constant height uses the least amount of power.
@@CAPTAINDRONE798 Thank you for your help, i will run more test
Very cool 🤝😎
What controller are you using and do you have a link?
DJI FPV controller (black in color)
Hello capitan! I recently got my pavo 25 for my first fpv drone as you recommended. I think I'm ready to go for my next drone, do you think this could be a good idea or could I go for the nazgul5 evoque?
The CINEBOT30 would be a better choice for a beginner. The NAZGUL5 is great if you have a wide open space and don't fly near people, including yourself. 5" drones really hurt.
Would this be OK using 6s 1300mah battery
Oh yes, it could lift that
