I love how most pick glamorous world-class players like Ronaldinho, Zidane, Messi, Silva, and Vardy picks David Hirst. Good for him.
Yeah, i had to google who he was
Each to his own.
Maximan picked Robinho

@@EdgeSoloBeats also David Hirst played for Sheffield Wednesday for almost a decade,Vardy grew up supporting Wednesday, lmao
This video shows just how amazing Ronaldinho was. Everybody loves his passion for the game, how he smiled all the time he spent on the pitch. Fantastic player in terms of ability. The flair player of all flair players.
He's, of course, my favourite player of all time, too.
it’s cuz most of the players who said it is in the age of 27-31 of course they growing up idolising ronaldinho
The said Zinedine Zidane also very often :)))

Ronaldinho's impact in the modern game is unimaginable. An era with so many legends and he tops it
Ronaldinho is undoubtedly one of the greatest footballers ever and easily the most skillful player ever. If ur talking about aesthetic football and just to enjoy the beauty of the game, Ronaldinho is number 1.

Salah: Totti.
Kinda figured he would say that for his fellow Roman Alumnus. But really Totti was underrated and literally more loyal to his club than anyone else back there.
Its not because Totti is his Roman Alumnus, Salah has said the same in interviews even before he joined Roma.
Makes senses Italy’s the closest big European football nation to Egypt .
@@jacobrobsolino5666 yh some Italian players have Egyptian decent, such as el sharrawry
Yet that loyalty got him nothing. Just 1 league title to show for it. At least he gave a good lesson to guys like Kane.
what?u mean he was overrated? he such an average player, squad player is what i thou plus his bad behaviour attitude
Ronaldinho had a short prime (2002-2006) but made such a big impact. Signings like Eto'o, Deco, Giuly and him changed the course of Barcelona's history and paved the way for the later successes of the club.
Yet with that short prime he was able to win every major trophy with his club and national team and was an integral part in each one of them, what a legend!
It's not that he had a short prime. Ronaldinho partied his career away. He was responsible for his downfall. As great he was he is not really a great idol given what he did. Youngsters should not follow what he did, he became unprofessional, came to training late and drunk.

Ronaldinho the legend. Effortless skill
Ronaldinho changed the way I watch football forever. Before that, I watched the game only for result. He was a first player that I have seen who actually played football for fun. I don't think he was trying to compete with anyone. He always smiling even when he got red card. He played the game to enjoy. My favorites are - R9, Zidane, R10, Iniesta, Messi, Neymar. These players made the football look easy and made fans enjoy the game, not just the goals.
Today people are generally divided over who the best player is. But there is this unanimous agreement on the greatness of that legend who is Ronaldinho. The joy he exudes on the field was infectious, the first time I could appreciate the beauty of this game was when I'd see his footballing magic. Truly one of kind who has inspired countless fans of the game. Literally happiness personified

Read the first line of my comment.
Big shout for Totti from Salah. Love that. Such an overlooked player when we talk about some of the greatest to ever do it. Only 1 league title with Roma. But we forget how much teams like Real and Chelsea were salivating over his signature. And let’s not forget he’s a World Cup winner, and a stand out player from that legendary 06 squad
I remember in the school grounds everyone would shout Ronaldinhos name if they pulled off a piece of skill. Favourite answer of the lot though is Son picking Park. National idol of the past and national idol of the present 🇰🇷
The level of impact Ronaldinho had on our childhood is just astonishing! He might not be the best player to have existed but he was our favourite that's for sure ❤️🙌
I mean a prime Ronaldinho is arguably among the 5 best players ever (with Messi, Zidane, Maradona and R9 for me, just looking at their prime level and achievements). The guy could do everything (scoring, passing, dribbling, long range, free kicks) with speed, strength and above all: Magic. He just falls short compared to the other legends of the game cause of how short his prime was (2003-07).
Vardy’s favourite player being David Hirst is so nice considering Hirst’s son is a Leicester player
Wish they asked more of the older players, just to get some more interesting answers like Vardy's and Schmiechel's

Miss that 2002-2007 period with Ronaldhino, Henry, Zidane and Kaka. The pre messi/ronaldo era, probably a more enjoyable era as well from a footballing perspective.
Maybe. But having seen both eras, I enjoyed both. Never seen two players play astronomically for a whole decade.
