@@UG3DBoss-54blender is not the best 3D software. Softwares shouldn’t be rated in general. You can say for you, blender is the best for your work. I would also say, Houdini is best and you might disagree. I per say use C4D as my main 3D program, Houdini for sims but since I am compositor by trade, I use NukeX for comping so please blender is not the best. Blender is very good but it’s not there yet. And if you ask me, I think making your program to do be able to do everything and not specialize in one field is already a fail for standardization in my opinion. Houdini can do all things but it specializes in simulations, C4D is a master in Motion Graphics world, Maya in best in Animation, and the list goes on. So I suggest Blender should find its straight and be known for that and I promise you, it will be added to the standard Industry programs
@@earthmatters2869Blender community really blows my mind. This is why blender could be one of the best thing to learn from UA-cam alone. There are many tutorials for basics, intermediate advanced, separate for niches as well. Well done community
Thank you! I remember that train video blowing my mind because I usually model in CAD (right now Fusion 360, looking to buy a Plasticity license when I have the money) and then do procedural textures in Blender. This technique is so helpful for additional assets!
The problem with projection mapping is that they don't do well with the lighting of your environment if they don't match the source image. But for background with zdepht and fog/blur which hide the details, it looks decent. Yet for close up it looks like a miniature cardboard with stickers that has a different tone of lighting.
The problem is that many artist cannot do it properly - they learn and use these cheap tricks and then they wonder why it doesn't look good enough. Or worse they believe they have mastered the art of modelling and texturing, when in truth they are just hacks. "Learn the rules before you break them" is one of the most important lessons in many artistic disciplines.
Man it's a long story but long story short, it's not always the case, huge(to near monopoly) publishers selling ultra realistic AAA games are expected to follow those picky nuances. While smaller can get away with it, Ultra HD realistic graphics is only for trailers, content creators if not streamers, everyone dials it down until they see some significant difference.
Heya, thanks. This texture projection method reminds me of chilla arts games. On stylized option, it also creates a sense of uncanny, and I mean they literally slap a whole texture of a man on top of 60 tris mesh.
choosing Texture projection will get a rough idea faster.. with ai generation applying texture makes it a bit more customizable+ hand painting so it's more unique than fully relying on ai generated or just outright google images... though I'm more of 3D model type of person but with help of procedural textures it makes texturing bit more customizable without the resolution sacrifice
How come you don’t do the videos for addons anymore? I like this content too but I really miss your addon review videos. ❤️❤️❤️ Great stuff otherwise! Edit: he literally just dropped a video 40 min after this comment ❤️❤️❤️
The amount of blender resources online is insane, everywhere someone has something new to learn
This is why Blender is one of the best 3d softwares, the community behind it is massive.
You are damn right no other 3d software communities making this level of ideas for free

Ideal method for use in films or as background assets in games, hacky in a good way

❤Good work nice job❤
Thank you! Cheers!
InspirationTuts can u pls make a video on how to invite your friends to blender so u guys can work on a project together
great video
I thinks with this technique, sometimes is just hard to make roughness, normal bump and displacement works properly
