Hi friends! It's Tracey! I get to stuff my side hustle money!!! Side hustle money includes pay from UA-cam and from my Etsy shop. This video will show what I made for the month of February 2024. I will also go over how I am breaking those checks down to categories that are important to me. This has been such an amazing experience surrounded by the most supportive and amazing community! Debt Free Jessie on UA-cam has started on a CD Ladder journey and I have been so intrigued. I love the cd ladder process and I am eager to open my next one. I officially started my CD ladder last month. Right now I'm just putting $50 into it. But I plan to add more once my debt is paid off.

Love the idea of you CD ladder binder. I have two emergency funds as well. I have a 3 - 6 month living expenses (my goal is 12 months) and I have another emergency fund that goes up to $3K, just in case something other than job loss happens. Love the video😊

I’m going through that right now! I’ve not worked sense January due to breaking my elbow. Short Term can’t get there self straight so it’s only my hobbies money until I get back to work. The saving challenges has helped, but running thin.
I’m gonna check into the CD Ladder when I get back to work.

Omg!!! I have never heard on 12 month cd ladder. I have heard of 5 year or 3 year ones. Omg. I think I’m going to give this a go. Just finished paying my car off so I can use that $420 for this. ❤❤❤

@@GoldenGirlBudgets I have been researching it nonstop since watching this. Making monthly envelopes for them already. This has me so motivated to pay my car off next month just so I can start. Think I’m going to do Marcus minimum is $500 but it’s also where I keep my abundance fund (emergency funds). I have Ally for the buckets. lol. There’s way too many options to go wrong.

Since $1K is your first big goal for your cd, when you add up if it's more than 1k will you go over or roll that extra to the next month to get that month to 1k?
The plan is to just put the money in the month earned and work toward the next goal of 2k. I don’t plan to carry over money to the next month until maybe at the end when the final goal is met! At least that is what I am planning now 😂
I know that you are looking to get a thousand dollars into each month cd ladder. Are you going to count the interest that you accrued for the year towards your 1000 each month or just the amount of what you are depositing?
I will definitely add the interest into the amount. As it gets larger, that should work in my favor to get closer to my goals. Love the question!
