This deck is by far my favorite deck to play. It's ridiculously fun AND effective for climbing without making you feel like you didn't deserve it, like some meta decks *cough*kinkouelusives*cough* do. It's always a great feeling when you beat down on some meta abuser with it, especially considering how underrated Katarina is. One of my favorite things to do is combo Katarina with Fae, her quick attack into recall into empowering Fae's damage has gotten me so many clutch trades and wins that I'm positive left my opponent confused haha. I've commented before but I'll say it again, I absolutely love your content, please keep doing what you do, you're my favorite UA-camr for this game!

Just won a game with your yasuo/katarina deck against ez controll (pre patch). after recalling yasuo with shadow shift and recall to save him from mystic shot and get excited i stayed healthy enough to survive the first ezreal. I also cleared a 5pull troop of elnuks with roar... it felt just sooooooooo good. Thx for all the decks adn inspirations, keep it up.
Hi, Mogwai! I used to watch your videos back when you played Gwent. I stopped playing it soon after the Homecoming, didn't like the changes. I tried different card games and recently started playing LoR, which I really enjoy. It seems like a combination of the best things from other games. Spells similar to instants and sorcery from MTG, mana without the awful land system - more like in Hearthstone, but improved (I love spell mana), simultaneous turns like in Artifact... Then I rediscovered your channel and now I watch your videos daily. You're very funny, positive, 'screaming' type of guy (TEEMO, NO!), but on the other side also capable of analytical thinking; explaining your decisions. Watching you is both entertaining and educational. Thank you for great content!

Hey man, have been making the switch from MTG to Runeterra with you and am absolutely loving it. Your great energy and creative deck building have been a big part of that. This deck is one my favorites and I have been flying through plat and now diamond with it. One of the most difficult questions for me currently is: when to go for Katarina the first time? Currently I'd say: 1. The more controlling the opponent, the more she's needed lvled up for the pressure to close out later. 2. Check how my hand stacks up against the answers they might have, e.g. mystic shots, avalance, creatures they might drop, etc. and try to play around those. That's why at 6:40 I'd usually have gone for kata, but the elixers of wrath/twin disciplines should have changed my mind of course. Would love to hear more of your thoughts on answers to this question.
This is the first deck I made in runeterra and still play it everyday as it is my favorite deck in the game currently so far and am grinding to masters with it and am loving every moment. Thanks for the amazing deck mogwai I love it

I tried a Mageseekers deck today, and those Turn 4 6/5 Mageseeker Inciters after a Turn 3 Remembrance or Unlicensed Innovation is pretty hard to deal with. But I don't think this type of deck is really my speed. I'm more interested in how you'll make Kalista work. Never missed a video so keep it up Mogwai 👍

hi I really like your videos, and if it's true you read all the comments, I would highly suggest building a Yeti Deck. They are pretty underestimated, and would love to see your take on it, I think you can come up with something better than what I have, something more competitive. BUT, buffing them on time when you know the 1 mana 5:5 is coming with the +3+3 overwhelm, and it is really satisfying having an 8:8 overwhelm for 1 mana is insane value, then you can also counterfeit copies of it and GG ;-)

Hey man, been a fan for a while, and just wanted to suggest a funny deck idea. I have been having success ( was in top 20 recently) with a darius and elise control list. I only run one elise (so that people mulligan incorrectly) and I run darius like old hecarim. basically you just darius, rekindle, ledros, harrowing. Nobody has their anti-control cards because they thought you were aggro. You can bait insane ruination value or use glory seekers as surprise. It is really funny.
I was a little disappointed that this video is still about an old patch. But that first win was so clean and decisive that I am no longer upset. Go Mogwai!

You should try Anivia/Lux Mageseekers. It worked well for me last patch and it still does this new patch. I’m still sad I wasn’t able to show how great it worked last patch.

I love this deck. I’ve been on it for about 2 weeks and it is great. Patience with Katarina is the key. Thanks for giving me a hope into meta decks.

Hey man, been a fan for a while, and just wanted to suggest a funny deck idea. I have been having success ( was in top 20 recently) with a darius and elise control list. I only run one elise (so that people mulligan incorrectly) and I run darius like old hecarim. basically you just darius, rekindle, ledros, harrowing. Nobody has their anti-control cards because they thought you were aggro. You can bait insane ruination value or use glory seekers as surprise. It is really funny.

You should try Anivia/Lux Mageseekers. It worked well for me last patch and it still does this new patch. I’m still sad I wasn’t able to show how great it worked last patch.
