    The weather there in Korea seems very similar to our Midwest weather here in the States. It's nice, crisp and colorful here as well. My very favorite time of year. Thanks for sharing another informative video, Limpeh. Peace

    Yes i agree with you, Hotteok is good to eat in the cold season. Ive ate hotteok twice in my trip to Korea. 1 in Jeju and 1 in Nami Island. Its really warm and toasty!

      Every year is slightly different, weather do not run on clockwork, it's best to plan at least a one month trip

    Hi! Good day! I saw your post about the Autumn in Korea and I find your vlog very nice and helpful. I just want to know if when was the picture taken? I really like to experience the foliage in Korea but I don’t know when is the best time. For me to be able to know I need to ask from you guys since you’ve been there already. I’m planning to book October 24-29, October 29-Nov 3 or Nov. 5-10. Which dates you think is the best for mo to see the foliage . Pls help me. Thank you :)

      Thank you for finding the video useful! :) Autumn foliage is a tricky thing because it just takes one rainy night and its all gone so the best bet is to stay for a month around that period. :) I would do Oct 24 to Nov 10 if you really wanna see foliage.

My sister is going to Korea for some work so I tagged along coz why not it's the land of Kpop and Kdrama that I love so much ^_^ And it was actually great to find out through your video that November was the best month!       Lucky? not at all! I knew this was the kind of life I wanted since young so I made sure I learn about and went into the only career that allows me to do that; Options Trading. Been a professional options trader and hedge fund manager for 16 years.

    My friend just came back from Korea on Tuesday and she says it was so cold especially at night! I was in Korea from mid to end october and the temps were between 10-20 and it drops especially at night. I Wished i have stayed longer in korea so that I could see all the trees in orange! Cos when I left in end october (which is last sunday), the trees in Nami were mostly yellow and not all the trees in Seoul have changed colour yet. I am definitely coming back to Seoul next year, most prolly in spring. Hope to meet u then!

    We will visiting Seoul on this coming Nov22-27 as well. Have the same question, will it still be nice autumn to visit place like Seoraksan National Park, Garden of Morning Calm and Nami Island ?

      Its VERY RARE to be snowing at that time. For best chance, I recommend January.

      its hard to say... these things are not machines that work on a schedule. Towards mid Nov its very iffy. One night's rain and its all gone so its up to whether you come before or after that night.

      Tall call... final week of Nov is a bad bad time to come... low chance of seeing both autumn foliage or snow.

      its hard to say. These things are not machines and don't work on a schedule. 15 Nov is very very luck based I would say. One night of rain and its all gone. That's all it takes to end the autumn foliage you see.

    I think it was 18 degrees the day you filmed it though although November average is around 12 degrees during the day and 2 degrees in the morning

      its hard to say as it varies from year to year. thats why I did a week to week tracking of the situation in my channel for 1 month prior to Nov this year so that people can plan their trip better.

    how about the weather around 20nov to 26nov? my friends suggested me to wear heat-tech + long john but some friends said just wear heat-tech will do so I'm so confused about it, please recommend some for me. Thanks~

      yes it does and when it does, the leaves disappear so its really a matter of luck

      Well, as you can see from the video, people wear very different things in November, you will have to judge for yourself if you are sensitive to cold...

      well, I have NEVER once worn long johns in my 16 years of living in 4 season countries... so i guess you will have to judge for yourself...

      I found that as long as you are warm on top, the bottom doesn't matter. That is why you see in Korea and Japan high school girls still in short skirt during winter while wearing very thick winter jacket on the top.

      but honestly, as you can see from my video, November isn't really that cold... you hardly see people in real winter paddings on the street.

      Its a risky period cos its typically towards the end of the cycle so you may or may not. You might wanna come earlier.

    Thank you for making this video! When I came in May last year, it was already a bit too cold for me, fingers feeling numb constantly when the wind comes! This time my hub is gg for biz trip and hearing that Nov is the most beautiful season in Seoul, I’ve decided to brave it and bring my three children along. They are 8, 5 and 3yo. I am pretty stressed out on how to dress them as we do not have experience with autumn!! Would you be able to help shed some light on how to dress up kiddos?? Thank you once again for this video!
