I tried the " Argan Rain shampoo" and after just one wash my hair is soft to the touch with some body and shine. My hair also tangles easily, especially at the roots and ends, and after using the argan rain shampoo I can actually run my fingers right through my hair from roots to tips. The smell is also very light and pleasant. I work out everyday and while I don't sweat a river, I need to wash my hair with something that won't dry it out and this shampoo will be perfect for that
I love your channel and especially videos like this. You do such a fantastic job here. Thanks for adding the text on the screen to inform me that you've got a Korean shopping haul video available too. I bet I've already watched it and forgotten but I'm still going to go to your channel home page to check it out. Brilliant stuff, so much fun. Love to see what people buy and what they recommend. Also, I really appreciate insiders travel tips and recommendations/things to avoid or not bother with. 😊👍
I'm back with a shopping video! This time I'm showing you my top 10 picks of what to buy in Korea. Honestly I can't stop myself from buying everything I see when I go to Korea, it's difficult to hold back :P I'll try to upload more regularly from now on, things have been hectic in the past couple of months because of work/sickness/errands, but I have SO MANY videos planned. Stayed tuned for Korea Haul, Japanese spring must-haves and Uniqlo top 10 videos coming up soon!
I would like to see how's the experience of going through the checkout. How do cashiers treat their customers??? Is it polite, friendly??? Do they make small talk with their customers, anything like that????
Great video! I just came back from Seoul Korea - OMG so so many mask places! I actually came home with over 100 masks for gifts....a crazy place to visit but also so so awesome for shopping.
Awesome! If you need help with planning, check out my Seoul travel videos from a while back and I'll be posting a Busan travel tip video in the future :D
Ohhh~ Those are great recommendations, and also, thanks for including the prices in the description. Anyway, is that morning rice drink at the background? Haha
Very well done! As I'm trying to reduce plastic, but I'll go to Korea in May, it will probably difficult to not buy things which are wrapped in plastic. Anyway nice video, especially the face masks make a great present i think :)
Hi, I have a trip book to Seoul and planning to get some watercolor brands from South Korea do you have any recommendation for cheap/affordable stores where I can buy art supplies?
Love the informative video as always :) Just wondering, for the hair tools, is the voltage fixed? If I remember correctly, Korea voltage is higher than North America & Japan.
The ones I bought are fixed but you can find USB powered ones too. Also it doesn't need high wattage so a relatively small and cheap transformer will do - they were just so freaking adorable and unique, I felt it was worth the hassle. Also if you live in the US, some US apartments or hotels actually have 220v plugs
Wow never knew the existence of the cute hair curlers😍 I want them!😭 Sorry, I didn't catch the location to find that item..I wonder where I could find them if I'm there.
Hello yuyu! I will travel to Korea for the first time in next month! and Im really excited about it >_< But I wanna ask where can I buy modern casual hanbok in cheaper price?? and what is the average price range for modern hanbok? Thanks!
I think generally it's about $100USD per outfit (that's what I paid for a couple of years ago, so maybe it's more or less expensive now). I'm not sure if you can find anything cheaper because of the material and it's kind of a trendy thing to buy these days, especially among younger generation. Check Ssamzigil mall, I bought mine there at a popup shop but otherwise you can probably find around Insadong in general and near Hanok village area
Where did you find that purple variant of shampoo?? That's the volumizing one, right? When I went to Korea, only the red variant was available in all the Olive Young and other groceries that I went to. Thank you!!
The purple one is anti-hair loss. They might have it at big Lotte Mart branches, or bigger markets. I found it at a grocery store right down the street from the airbnb I stayed at in Hongdae. It's at the big intersection to the right side of Hongdae Station Exit 4 (Turn right after you come out of Exit 4, cross the big intersection and you should see it, there's a GS25 on the right of it and a small uphill road on the left).
Hi, how easy/expensive would it be to post a box of these goodies from Korea back to your home country? I am sure that I would fill my suitcase in one day and airlines can be restrictive with some items. I love your idea of hosting a noodle challenge using authentic utensils for my friends and family when I get back from my trip. We could also have a face mask party.
You could ship by surface mail which takes a while but is pretty cheap. If you don't mind getting your stuff a month or so later, then it's a great option because it would be much cheaper than shipping by air
Somehow your comment was held for review so I hope you can see this before your trip! The shop is in Hongdae. There are many shops like that so just check out the general area, you'll see many similar shops :)
Also perfect timing, I’m in Korea today and I’m going shopping tomorrow !!!
I always love your suggestions!! I end up buying a majority of the things you mention! 🧡

Do you have any recommendations on the best Korean body wash?

With my husband this year, but I've been there with my mom and friends too! Each time a different experience!
thanks for your recommendations but I think its better if you also include the price range of each item.
