This podcast is exactly what we all need!! Not only during this pandemic, but during our entire life!! My husband and I were youth directors for years when we first got married 21 years ago. Unfortunately our church closed.. Those were the best times of our lives, although the devil came after us from every angle!!! I am just so grateful to have been apart of planting seeds for the younger generation. I jokingly mentioned coming to y'all's church to meet all of y'all, I don't think he knows how to make that happen for me, but maybe the Lord will make a way for that to come to pass!! I know that Phil, Jase and Al don't see these comments, but I want to share that they have converted me to the faith. I struggle with anger management, and a fowl mouth, but everyday i pray for forgiveness. I listen while I am at work on my slow days, and sometimes at home.

I LOVE THIS PODCAST! I am so encouraged. It is helping me understand how to be myself and share the hope in Jesus. In the past I felt intimidated. These guys are masters at being themselves, loving Jesus and sharing the hope in Him.
There should be warning labels on movies and t.v. shows that we may potentially buy that has lgbtq themes in it. We don't want to watch two people of the same sex kissing. It's our choice to not want to view it in our home. Movies and shows should come with a lgbtq sticker ( parental advisory ) if it contains such material. Common sense.

@@NugicusStreetPhotography It's false advertising, it's dishonest buying a movie or show and it turns out to contain something you didn't want to view. It's like buying the latest IPhone, getting it home, opening up the box only to find a flip phone. We have freedom in this country and that also means that we have the freedom to not view things that we don't want to. Lgbtq themed movies and shows should come with a warning label just as R and X movies do. I for one am tired of buying a movie and it is full of that stuff though it was not even listed in the back of the dvd case. It's like stealing our money, false advertising. We just end up throwing them away after viewing for a few minutes.

I was saddened when the show ended and I've been watching all of the past episodes over again here on UA-cam.. there's never been another show that made me feel as good as duck dynasty did and I especially loved the prayer at the end of every episode! As a youngster of the late 60's a friend and I attempted to build our own transporter in the basement from discarded electronic components, and used tv and radio tubes. We tried it multiple times and we're fairly certain it was almost fully operational, but we were slightly underpowered as we could only scrounge up a few D cell batteries from flash lights.

What i like is their conversations are natural and always gravitate towards God's Word. Day to day issues can be related to God's Word. And these guys know their way around their Bibles.
The Star Trek tv show in 1968 is what I remember. My then boyfriend loved it, so watched it with him, but usually daydreamed during the episodes. We celebrate our 51st Wedding Anniversary in April!! We married young! Still love each other like crazy.

God friended me was a great show!
TL;DR: Jase called the New Age Mormon Glenn Beck his ‘brother in Christ’ but Mormonism is a non-Christian cult that teaches numerous damnable heresies that lead only to Hades.
Like many I loved the Duck Dynasty show. It was extremely funny in the first few seasons, before the tv crew started coming up with outlines and basic scripts that the guys would roll with, and it was virtually the only wholesome show on television and it was absolutely the only show where the name of Jesus was welcomed, praised, and blessed.
So when I saw that these guys were starting a podcast that was supposed to be a Bible study podcast I was all over it like syrup on pancakes. But in one of the first episodes, perhaps even the first, I heard Jase Robertson say that Glenn Beck ‘loved the LORD’ and was his ‘brother in Christ’. I was excited for a moment - I thought that perhaps Beck had finally repented and came to Christ. I used the ol’ Google to search but discovered that Beck had done no such thing.
Honestly, I was shocked. How could Jason be so far off on something like that? Glenn Beck is not and never has been (but hopefully one day will, I pray) our brother in Christ. Beck is a Mormon, which is a New Age non-Christian cult.
Mormons believe that God was once a man on another planet who was a good little Mormon and was promoted to deity over earth, along with his wife, and they had lots of cosmic booty to create humanity here on earth, and that if you are a good little moron too then you and your wife/wives will, after you and she die, be promoted to godhood and get to have lots of cosmic booty and populate a planet and rule over it as a god. That is just one of the absolute Damnable Heresies that they believe in.
They also believe that Jesus, who is the Second Person of the Godhead, is not God the Son but that He is actually the Archangel Michael and that He and Lucifer are BROTHERS. That’s another Damnable Heresy. Do not pass ‘Go’, do not collect $200, go directly to Hell to await the day that you are thrown into the Lake of Fire for all of eternity.
Magic underwear is 110% real. While it’s a joke to us it’s not a joke to them.
Brothers, Sisters - do not ever fall for Mormonism. Mormons are not Christians and their names are not written in the Lamb’s Book of Life. That’s heartbreaking but it’s true. That Jase does not know something so obvious as that made me question what he believes in at all so I looked into his church, and discovered that his church, while not a cult, does have some cult-like beliefs such as you MUST be baptized to be saved (so I guess Jesus lied to the thief on the cross next to him when He said ‘Today you shall be with me in Paradise’? OF COURSE HE DID NOT LIE!!) and that their church elders are able to ‘interpret Scripture’ and that you should believe what they tell you about a verse. Nah, sorry dawg - it doesn’t matter one little bit what you *think* a verse means; IT ONLY MATTERS WHAT THE VERSES MEANS. But these things are a matter of disagreement and not damnable heresies, so we can agree to disagree about such things; however, you cannot believe anything that Mormonism teaches and be saved and your sins forgiven.
It’s not enough to believe in a Jesus; you must believe in the REAL Jesus. God the Father, God the Son, and God the Holy Spirit are co-equal, co-existing Persons of the Triune Godhead. They are ONE God, not three separate gods. Jesus was not ‘adopted’ by God. He did not ‘swoon’ upon the cross, and Allah did not magically place the face of Jesus on another man and that man died in place of Jesus. He was born to a virgin (sorry Catholics, but Mary was not born to a virgin mother herself and she is not our intercession-er to Jesus), He lived a sinless life as 100% God and 100% Man, He sacrificed Himself to be the perfect and final blood sacrifice for our sins, He died, He was buried, and He rose again three days later. He now reigns at the right hand of the Father in Heaven (and He still has His human body, by the way - He is the first to have the perfect, glorified body that all believers will have one day), and He. Is. God.
The Gospel is 1st Corinthians 15:1-4; please read it.
I’m not trying to ‘be mean’ to Mormons or to Jason Robertson, nor to his father Phil or to any of Jason’s brothers, but loving your neighbor as yourself demands that you tell them the TRUTH in love, and Mormonism is completely and utterly false. It was created by a conman who was a violent, drunken confidence man that prayed upon gullible people for financial gain. He used a simple trick to fool people into believing his nonsense - that of asking you to ask the LORD if his babbling is somehow true by putting a fire in your chest when you read it. That’s one of the oldest tricks in the book. Don’t believe me? Then go back to the top of this really long comment and pray that if this be true that you feel a warming feeling in your chest. While everything that I am saying is 110,000% true, you’ll feel that warmth even if I were lying my butt off - it’s a simple con; you’ve planted the thought into your mind when you read it and so your body obliges you by making your chest feel warm on the inside.
There’s as much truth in Mormonism as there is in Islam, Hinduism, Scientology (and honestly, Mormonism is almost as crazy as Scientology), Wicca, Norse Paganism, LaVey Satanism, and all of the other cults. Please, please, please, I beg of you - if you are trapped in such a cult get yourself a real Bible like the KJV and read it. You must come to a saving faith in the blood of the real Jesus Christ before it is too late for you.

ROBERTSONS stay away from the "God Friended Me," show. They mix theology in that show. They mix different aspects of Christianity, Islam, Buddhism and such and blur the lines as if they are all worshipping the same God.

Great men of God.! Loved the show , and I feel comforted by " good ol boys" like me aren't afraid to speak up for God, and also share the love of the outdoors. Christ asked Peter, the same question, "Who do people say that I am?", and then He asked a more important question, "Who do YOU say that I am?", because Who Christ is to you, determines where you will spend all eternity.
I'm always saying, "I hope God has a sense of humor!", or "I wonder if God has a sense of humor?", and what Phil says, regarding the "Why do the Nations rage, and the people plot a vain thing" verse, in which God is laughing at them in derision... I've pondered this before, asking myself, "Does God laugh, why does God laugh, and why do WE laugh?", obviously not for the same reasons. God laughs because HE KNOWS, while we laugh at that which we do NOT KNOW, and that's what makes something funny to us, is when we can not predict an answer. A magic trick, to the magician is not magic, because he knows the trick, so in order for God to laugh as we do, would only be possible if God were not privy to the outcome, and that would require a level of "surprise". God can not be surprised.
Can you imagine playing a game of chess against God, who knows the outcome of every move you will make, before you've made your first move, He has already finished the game before it has begun.
Here is a verse, relevant to your discussion, with regards to persecution of Christians. We've seen it in the past, with Saul, believing that he was doing the right thing, and we will continue to see, this ever so growing "feeling" in which people will be lead to believe that it's alright to persecute those that Believe a particular way, that runs contrary to what the consensus believes to be true; they will feel justified, as if to say, that whatever we believe is true, and therefor what is true is accepted by God, the problem with this is that their version of "good" is not in alignment with God's Word.

Remember, God's Word also says, there is a way that "seems" right unto man, the end of which leads to destruction.

It is truly amazing of what people believe in and yet won’t even bring up God are anything to do with him are the Bible and on the cancel part is we’ve all just sat back sat back sat back and let them do whatever they want and we shrug shoulders and move on not saying violence but enough is enough

Jesus quoted Psalm 22:1 which begins with, “My God, My God, why have you forsaken Me?” Jesus quoted this Psalm in order to draw attention to it and the fact that He was fulfilling it there on the cross. But the only thing Jesus ever cursed was the fig tree.
