I've been using and loving the seasonal version of Slightly Edited Portraits for the past few months. It's called Seasonal Characters Slightly Cuter Aesthetic, and it's those same portraits and sprites with great seasonal and festival outfits. (I do substitute Shane the Fashion Enthusiast into it though, cause I just love him and his outfits.) It's a go to pack for me, because of how much life the seasonal clothes bring to the characters. I've found that character portrait packs live and die by their Sam for me (because I've married Sam in every playthrough except my Shane save), and I'm really fussy about him. There's a fair number of packs on your list that I have and adore... including the Harvest Moon style one, which is Nyapu's Portraits inspired by Dong. And I found a couple great new ones through this video that I just downloaded like Leyalluna's and the Bunnerz update to the anime mod. Other packs not from the list that I really enjoy are StardewValley Anime Mods by OhoDavi, Zino's Vanilla Bachelor Portraits, Nayrie's Portrait Mod, SolaLuuka's HD Character Portraits, and Jier's HD Vanilla Portraits.
talkohlooeys + Slightly Edited are my two favorites. They are comprehensive and stylized nicely to give character. The rest are pretty meh and most of the others only do a few characters. :) Thanks so much for the video, it helped a lot. Edit: Woah... - "Seasonal Outfits - Slightly Cuter Aesthetic" is the improved version of "Slightly Edited" and includes sprites and seasonal variations. It's the perfect one for people who want the "basic game" feeling. And... - "1oxnes and talkohlooeys' Seasonal Portraits" is the improved version of talko, which includes seasonal variations and uses the cute sprites above. This is the one to pick for expressive characters. Now all I have to do is choose between these last 2. I decided to use talko's but the other one is great too.

That’s fair, no one is saying he didn’t do a great job - I mean a game made by one person is extraordinary on its own! If you don’t like the mods that’s fine, enjoy your game how you like playing it!
@@kitsugamess sure, no offense, u did a good job too and rightly said that any manual labor deserve a respect at least. Me, I'm just looking for mods which could bring xx live into my SV once I'll finish it as it was created/updated and you just saved some of my time, thx for that with 👍

@@kitsugamess Jier's Hd Portraits for SV snd SVE are my favourites. She hadn't made portraits for ridgeside So I downloaded the Ridgeside Anime HD portrait which looks gorgeous.
Then simply put it - it ain’t the mod for you! But saying someone’s art and design is a downgrade is not the vibe, especially when this is a super popular mod 💕
