Man, seeing you saying your welcome message at the beginning then jumping right into the focus of the video is very efficient and effective. LOL, there are some folks on YT that talk so much that they actually put a “lesson begins at X:XX” super on the vid so you can bypass all of the rhetoric. Keep up the great work Eric!!

Bro I've learned a ton from your videos and if someone needs to see your face they're watching for the wrong reason. These are tutorials not beauty contests lol....I can't believe how much you know about all of the different types of music but especially funk and R&B! Hi Eric I agree with not showing a face for a guitar lesson and instead focusing on the guitar. I don't make guitar videos but I do make gaming, computer tutorial and Music videos on 3 UA-cam channels, I have about 200 videos and I have never shown my face but that's because I am a very private person and I am concerned with the erosion of privacy in the modern world.

Sir glad you don't show your face because I get sidetracked when people are talking to me I look at their face instead of what we're focusing on
I don't show my face during a lesson because unlike some UA-camrs, I don't want this to be about me. I only want folks to learn and enjoy playing. When I first started on UA-cam I did not show my face at all. I went right into the lessons. I had a lot of viewers complain about not being able to attach a face to the lessons, so eventually the EricBlackmonMusic intro was created. Folks seemed to like it so it is still here today.
@@EricBlackmonGuitar I wasn't being mean I just a lot of his other people will stop start talking to you right now over the lesson and I just totally really focused I don't know if it's just me or everybody else I just watched the hands and listened to the instructions and it works out fine I appreciate it☝️😎🤙
