@@WarPaintCustom that's a great compliment, since I don't feel like I'm super super confident with this sort of thing, nor very mechanically inclined. The reason I try to do these videos, and not cut out my mistakes, is so that anyone can understand they can do it too!
I'm looking to get the scout bobber sixty however I really like the black cap on the regular bobber. Is it possible to install the black headlight cap on the bobber sixty? I really don't want to pay 3k more just to get that black cap
Plenty of people have done that conversion! It is technically called a nacelle, and I believe you need a different headlight mounting bracket as well, but it's totally possible!
@@crash9706 I would search the Facebook groups for info. Some people are saying you also need the headlight bucket/bezel from the 69 as well. Others are saying you just need to drill a hole in the bottom of the nacelle for it to fit without any other modification.
Is called a gremlin bell. It's a superstitious belief that it wards off gremlins who make trouble, put things in the road, and try to wreck you! They hear the bell coming and get scared away. The bell is supposed to be given as a gift or it doesn't work. It was given to me, so I had to install it!

hey another question. you showed the day time running lamps, low beam, and high beam. how is it set up that the drl and low beam are separate? I thought the head light switch only had low beam and high beam? how do you turn the low beam off?
Good question! When you turn the key to the accessory position, it leaves only the DRL on without the low beam, but you can't operate the bike with only the DRLs
@@Jimbobbington well thank you so much for the reply I managed to get the light working the half Halos were working at first but now they don't turn on anymore not sure what to do
@@Jimbobbington actually the kit that I ordered came with three spade connectors so I just used a spade connector to attach to the female ends on both the light and the bike.
thanks dude! I just ordered one. haven't even got my bike yet. shipped on 7/8.
An LED Headlight, and GP Shortys were both sitting in my garage waiting before I took delivery of my bike.
You make it look way to easy. Something I still need to do on mine. Waiting to get ship notification on the Memphis shades then ill order my led.

How long have you waited for your bike? Ordered mine in may, still nothing :/
@@4244john I have another video about my buying experience. I think the average wait time is around 2 months
Thanks very helpful 🙏🏻
Thank you!

Thanks brother
You bet! Ride safe!
Btw I’m watching this video so that when my bike arrives, I’ll know how to switch out the headlight!
Awesome lol, first mod I did as well!
Any reliability issues with the mondeview long term?
Not that I know! I actually sold it a while back and the new owner is still rocking it. Looks great with the 1920 fly screen too!
@@Jimbobbington Thanks!
@@Jimbobbington Which headlight are you running now? Im leaning towards eagle lights as the Halo and all that is prewired.
What is that bell behind the light? never seen that before

what about the black wire?
There are two blacks, a positive and negative, iirc you only need the positive lead.

Just saying, that bell is supposed to hang from the lowest part of the bike, around the cross frame area, it’s just tradition.
Haha I know, this was just the most central place my OCD would allow me to place it
