- The next remaster of my original tutorial videos. I get the feeling I will have to redo this one again, but it was still nice to get a head start. It now includes Interact, Release, Reactions, Aid, natural cover, and the rules for death and dying.
REUPLOAD: Thanks to @deep_one_raft6223 for the Lesser Cover correction!

The DC for Aid was dropped to 15 in the remaster for anyone who feels like 20 is too high
Thanks for the remaster. Now it looks even better.
Can you do a full video on cheese? Its mechanics are a bit hard to understand.
Positive comment!
After remaster, *Vitality comment.

Best 2E breakdowns I've found, after five years of 5e I'm making the switch.
Remaster Aid Other is DC 15.
One of the reasons I love the BellFlower Archtype is because it lets me use my reaction every turn for Aid since I dont need to use an action to prepare it
you could just get 'give advice feat' its a +2 wighout roll contest....(edit) in fact i recomend that for every ranged combatant since if you stay still you can just buff other people while attacking
I love all King Oogatonton videos!
great video for introducing new players to more tactical combat, thank you !
1:58 ish - remaster has the Aid DC set to 15!
These are absurdly high quality
This is the single most important PF2e video on the internet! 🎉Thank you!
I keep trying to find this cheese item - you keep bringing it up so it must be some important item in the meta - but i cannot find it in the book. Can you give me a page #?
"Fliiiimsy object" 😂 you crack me up Mr tonton ❤
Playing my first Pathfinder campaign soon and your videos have been really helpful and fun. Could anyone answer this question: If I am a Goblin summoner with Burn It! do those numbers apply to an eidolon's fire attacks? Thanks!
Old comment, but I figured I can answer this one for future readers. All of the effects of Burn It! refer to "you". That means your PC. The effects of the eidolon are spelled out at length at the beginning of the summoner class. You and your eidolon share HP, share actions and multiple attack penalty, there are some unique things with saving throws, unique actions that you can take, etc. Nowhere does it say that your eidolon counts as "you" for feats which refer to your PC, which is what would be needed for that feat to work equally for your eidolon. Summoners are tricky lol. I still see a fire loving goblin with fire eidolon being a super fun character to play 😆
Great stuff!
Remasters are important to keep rules nice and clear. Now where are the rules for all this cheese and how does it stack up to items like cooperative waffles?
So, you can Take Cover even with no cover nearby to increase your no cover to cover???
Sorry it wasn't clear, but you need something that you can theoretically take cover behind! For example a tree or refrigerator.
@@KingOogaTonTon Even if it's not technically between you and your target?
@@theadventuresguild6514 The idea is that your character positions themselves in their square to either stand near or make themselves less of a target, so yes. If there's a rock to my left and im not behind the rock, I can hug the surface of the rock to make myself less of a target to an Archer for example.
But you could just use your other hand and keep holding your sword.
I assume if an enemy's HP is brought to 0 they automatically are at "Dying 4" and are just dead. Right?
Yeah, it's suggested you do that for simplicity. The exception is for big, important enemies or NPCs but it's up to the GM.
reupload? Can't tell what changed
Basically nothing- just fixed that Lesser Cover doesn't give you +1 to stealth or saves.
Someone corrected him about Lesser Cover only giving +1 AC with no bonus to stealth nor reflex saves.
There's a small cut in the video where he talks about Lesser Cover.
@@KingOogaTonTon ah I see
You can't "TAKE COVER" with lesser or no cover.
Nope. The action is listed as such
Requirements You are benefiting from cover, *are near a feature that allows you to take cover* , or are prone.
You press yourself against a wall or duck behind an obstacle to take better advantage of cover. *If you would have standard cover* , you instead gain greater cover, which provides a +4 circumstance bonus to AC; to Reflex saves against area effects; and to Stealth checks to Hide, Sneak, or otherwise avoid detection. *Otherwise* , you gain the benefits of standard cover (a +2 circumstance bonus instead). This lasts until you move from your current space, use an attack action, become unconscious, or end this effect as a free action.
I highlighted the important parts.
The requirements show you don't need to have any kind of cover. Just be near to something that could reasonably give you some. Hell technically not even that if you just put your belly to the ground you can benefit from take cover.
And the reading of the action itself straight up says that you can have less than standard cover and it'll upgrade to standard.
And I agree that if your pressed up against an object or there is a special circumstance .. then yes lesser cover could be upgraded to standard cover (allowing you to hide) but that is a special ruling ontop of the general rule. The general rule states that you cannot hide under lesser cover. which is true.

This comment definitely is here for something that is not the video, Uhuh, yup.
