- Recently a line has been drawn between faith and science. But must we choose either one or the other in order to find answers to our deeply held questions? Together, faith and science can paint a more complete picture of all that God has made.

@@MrFossil367ab45gfyth They do not. It is not science to claim life came from rocks or that one kind becomes another. It is not science to claim that banana plants and whales are related.

Okay, I am currently learning about this in church,
And here’s what I have to say:
Evolution and the Bible cannot both be true,
Science and the Bible can.
God made science after all,
But he also tells us exactly how we were made.
We were made from the dust of the earth.
Not fish, or monkeys, or lizards.
And we were made in one day.
But again, God created science,
So of course the Bible and science work together,
They were both made by the same God. The only God.
Evolution, however, was specifically “made” ( I can’t think of
A better term ) so that man could live without God.
Before this, a lot of scientists were Christians!
Including ( but not limited to ): Galileo, and Issac Newton ( I’m sorry, these

What about microevolution vs macro evolution?
The Bible also tells us that the sun revolves around the Earth, and that Earth is a flat quadrilateral. Please be cautious about trying to interpret Genesis as a scientific/biological textbook, rather than ancient Jewish theology meant specifically to be an antithesis to surrounding cultures at the time which were polytheistic and pantheistic.

You have to have a reason to believe that evidential truth-claims are, as a category, reliable, and that reason can't be evidence, in the material sense of evidence (because that would be circular). Your claim about the respectability of acting like one knows truth without providing evidence, for example, is a philosophical, not evidential claim.
