  • Bruschetta with Pita Crisps
    Appetittzer: serves: lots of hotties Prep:ur a total:10 min
    Ingridents:
    2-3 Tomataties (4c fresh chopped tomatoes )(they dont have to be pretty just bite size)
    ½ red or yellow onion, roughly chopped
    Garlic (as much as your comfortable with) i used about 5-6 cloves, minced
    1 tsp Garlic powder (bc more and why not)
    1 tsp dried oregano
    1 tsp granulated sugar
    A heavy pinch of kosher salt
    1-2 tbsp extra virgin Olive oil (Dealers choice)
    1 tbsp Red wine vinegar or balsamic vinegar (you can probably use apple cider or white in a pinch)
    1-2 handfuls of fresh basil ( dont skip this) chiffonade-ished
    Balsamic glaze for drizzling
    1 bag of parmesan garlic pita chips
    Optional 1/2c shredded parmesan cheese - (I added cheese to this later because I used this for Nachos! ) (1 video ago)
    Tip: I made this “dairy free” by not adding cheese but I 100% usually always add parm to this it doesnt look quite as appealing with cheese in it but its delish.
    To a large bowl, add all of the ingredients and mix serve with chips or toasty carbs. Drizzle with balsamic glaze and enjoy!, the longer it marinades the more flavorful, so it you make a batch of this, let it sit in the the liquid over night for best flavorful results but it may not be as fresh looking because it absorbs all the liquids but its HELLA good. You can also eat it right away, I love using this in pasta sauces, as a chunky salad dressing, I also used this in the Italian Nachos recipe (This also lasts up to a week covered in the fridge!)
