Is the Bible we have what the original authors even wrote?

- Joe Rogan, David Cross, even Bart Ehrman, all accuse the biblical text of being a "translation of a translation of a translation." Is this an accurate critique? I tackled that question recently while speaking at Briercrest University.

Most underrated Christian YT channel. I pray more people watch your content and reap the benefits for benefiting the Kingdom! God bless you Wes! ❤✝️
I love the closing and conclusion... spot on!! May God bless you more in this ministry!
This is such a great presentation Wes! Thanks for putting it on your channel!
A couple of great recently published books on this topic:
* Can We Trust the Gospels? (Peter Wililams)
* Scribes and Scripture: The Amazing Story of How We Got the Bible (John Meade & Peter Gurry)
to be honest I didn't think this was going to keep me engaged for 30mins but here we are 😂. This was amazing Wes 👍
Facts 😂😂
Amazing! Love your work. Thank you so much for sharing. This was so well done and put together, even to the last second.
Are there any recommended books that would elaborate on this presentation? To prepare for defenses of the Bible’s reliability.

@@WesHuff thank you!🙏🏻
Hi Wes. Thank you for this historical overview showing the accuracy of the Bible! The Bible confirms the Bible when you have all the pieces and take verses in context across the books! It all points to Jesus. He wrote it of Himself! (John 1:1-5)
Thank you for an awesome video! May the Lord continue to bless your work, and your studies. Thank you for sharing such great content and most importantly, confirming the truth, accuracy, reliability, and verifiability of the Bible. Thank you for sharing the Gospel message, the only message with the power to transform lives, from the God who revealed Himself in the pages of the most important book ever written. Indeed, the greatest story ever told. Praying for you and your ministry, brother Wes. 🙏📖
The witness that is most important is the one that comes from within when the Spirit confirms things in your heart.
Fantastic info!!
Man! This was awesome!! Thanks Wes for sharing this.
Wes, I LOVE your method of apologetics, brother! Great presentation! You remind me of how John Ankerberg of the John Ankerberg Show dealt with answering these narratives about the history of the Bible. He had professional guests on such as yourself to debunk those fallacious narratives about how inaccurate the Bible has been for almost 2,000 years. God has given you a true gift of evangelism and defense of the faith. I do the dame thing on my UA-cam channel here in my on the street evangelism Encounters and open air preaching at University of Arizona. I also debunk these common misperceptions about the Bible's accuracy because students are taught these same things that they never really researched into...
By the way, I emailed you on August 31st, Ddid you ever get it?
Question, when you translated P 66, the English translation is exactly like the ESV however, when I look at different translations, they’re all slightly different, but mean the same thing can you please give more of an exact English translation or is that the exact English translation that you had up on the screen? Thank you.
You can walk through the first 14 verses of P66 with me in this video ua-cam.com/video/umG-tHW9OM0/v-deo.htmlsi=W0AnzwfLdVmmbXzx
Freakin awesome! Praise God!
Can we all stop and take a sec to recognize how jacked Wes is?? I had to stop watching what I was already watching, bc I saw the thumbnail and couldn’t believe it, so I clicked to verify that he’s actually that huge 😅🎉😂
Someone out here's gotta put the "man" back in "manuscripts."
@@WesHuff LOL
A big problem Religion has is that everyone thinks the Bible is about El (Deus) when it's actually about Elohim (Deities).
Keep in mind the Hebrews syncretized the titles of God to all just mean "God". Those titles are El, Elah and Elohim.
To get some context on the meaning of El, Elah and Elohim we can use the Latin counterparts of Deus "God", Dea "Goddess" and Dei which has two uses one plural "gods" and one possessive "God's" based on context.
Genesis 1 Elohim (Deity) is possessive context.
(God's Son)
Genesis 2 Yahweh Elohim (deities) is plural context.
(adopted idiot)
Try the NOG translation on Bible Gateway. Doesn't remove God's titles. Does remove a metric 💩-ton of contradictions.
Religious Dogmatics call the entire Bible "Good" and that generates sooo many biblical contradictions. The Bible is about knowing Good from Evil, not about knowing Good and lying about the Evil (apologetics).
Mark, Matthew and Luke are the NT versions of Yahwist, Priestly and Deuteronomist from OT. It's no wonder everyone is drawn to John (Elohist).
I know it makes atheists mad when Christians want to just read John and choice other parts of the NT haha. That's the Good parts though. It isn't all Evil. Just the Yahweh Elohim (false Elohim from Genesis 2) parts...which is 3/4 of the OT and NT canon.
Book of Acts is heavy duty Yahwism.
Quran is heavy duty Yahwism. Now he blasphemes Elah (God's feminine title) by taking the twisted version Allah (Thegod).
Nobody else on earth thinks Yahweh Elohim from Genesis 2 is a fucking clown? Help me help you, people.
With all due respect, your lack of knowledge and comprehension of Hebrew is showing. Elohim is a concretized abstract plural - a plural word that is used in a singular sense. I appreciate your attempt to try and clarify, however, as someone who does the majority of their teaching and study from the original languages I find a good portion of what you’re saying a little bit silly. A lot of what you’ve said only reveals your lack of actually knowing and understanding the biblical languages.
I doubt you want to “help” us. Pride is a tough thing to self-identify, but the Holy Spirit is here to help us eliminate the need to seek self-worth from other people. Especially pride coming from praise for intelligence and knowledge. Christ gives us our worth and that’s all we need.
