Well she's 43 and she only lived about 10 years of her life in Australia. She was probably more comfortable with English when she was younger but then stopped using it after moving back to Korea. Her English is actually pretty good - definitely not native, but proficient. She just doesn't sound very confident using it.

When you work with somebody with this kind of English on daily basis, you will be annoyed and consider her English is not really good. I have been there. Every native speakers firstly praise my English for it being at native level, then after sometime they start to make jokes on my grammar and accent.
@@Strollerist she doesn't even make that many mistakes. it wasn't her first language, she lived there for eight years, hasn't lived there for over two decades and she probably doesn't use it that much. her english is more than fine, much better than most of her peers.
