      Yes, the modern ones estheticians use with an argon attachment have an anti-bacterial effect on the skin. I have a modern high frequency machine and I used it once to alleviate extreme pain I was having due to improper stitching after some dental work. It was late at night and had to wait to morning to get to my dentist for help. Well, I couldnt wait and followed my intuition to glide the wand over the skin (my cheek) where the pain was throbbing. I did so for just 3 minutes. You shouldn't go over 3 min. per section. And when I turned off the machine. I felt an oozing in my mouth and when I opened my mouth, I spit out the liquid. Gross, I know! It was from the abscess that was forming, the release of the bacteria. It got rid of the pain that quickly ! I fell asleep with no pain. When I saw my orthodontist in the morning so he could stich me up again, I woke up with no pain. I have never tried it on muscle pain but it does work on bacteria that is why it is good for acne since acne is a small open wound with bacteria.

    Not a bad description and intro to violet rays. After being struck by a car, Tesla healed his contusions and broken bones without any medical attention by frequent application of the high frequency rays from his Tesla coils . Years later Tesla and Dr. Paul Oudin (an electrotherapist), got together in Paris around 1893? to invent an affordable unit to be used for medical purposes. They shared the technology with the world.
    I have owned and used eight of these vintage ones over the years including the Renu Life model R like yours. it is one of the best.
    As a long time student of the Edgar Cayce Readings;, 900 readings recommended them for specific conditions especially for the eye problems. Note: There was/ is a stern Cayce warning to never use the violet ray within 24 hours of drinking; to do so will burn internal tissues.
    The vintage ones can be destroyed by leaving them plugged in longer than 10 minutes at a time, which is the max recommended treatment time per day anyway.
    I have found them to be usually effective on myself, wife, friends. painful joints, They are known to oxygenating the blood and increasing blood flow and lymph flow. Also a tiny amount of ozone is generated which is anti-bacterial. There are many many testimonials of people with eye problems greatly improved glaucoma and blindness using violet ray devices.
    There is a line of thinking that the medical establishment was favorable for the use of them for decades until about 1950, and they disliked the home use of the VR because they worked to well and limited business.
    You can find the vintage ones on EBAY or buy newly built. There is a man in California who restores them and makes them electrically safer.

    I am an esthetician and use this to treat acne and other skin problems. We have to put our finger on the glass probe before we put it on clients’ skin. Remove the probe from skin in the same manner. Lifting up the probe without having finger touching will create a spark like it was shown in the video. You don’t want to do that too much because it can cause damage to skin. Max time to use is about 5 min.

    There is also a metal bar you insert, hold on to the bar, turn the unit on, now there is alternating current going to every cell in your body to charge your batteries, the mitochondria, it tales 10 minutes to charge your body, doing this twice a day keeps your spark plugs active. I love my Violet Ray and help my friends to reduce inflammation on an any area of the body, it also keeps wrinkles at bay. 🙏🏻

      did you ever find any research papers describing those effects. I have 2 of these old machines but never really tried using it actively. I used it a few short moments for testing purposes but always was a bit wary if it actually isn't bad instead for me producing all this ozone gas.

    • @dresdenvisage
      @dresdenvisage 2 місяці тому

      I also insert a metal bar (well, a cable with metal ends) and hold the other end. I do this because it allows me to shock people (consenting adults) with my hands. I'm sorry, but it doesn't go to every cell of or your body, or charge your batteries. It's a shell effect. It only penetrates skin deep. If it went any deeper, it would disrupt your heart and brain.

    I have a very similar device that we call The Healing Bulb. I made it from some schematic drawings that I got from a long deceased Doctor friend . It uses an old automotive spark coil, some basic electronic parts, with a length of insulated Romex cable in a hose leading to a clear lightbulb. It does give some noticeable relief for sprains, muscle aches, strains, etc. I mounted all the parts in an old plastic drill box, with a cord to plug it in to a wall socket.

    I believe part of the potential attributed to this device is that it is generates a powerful, negative ion, pulsed plasma stream. And because our red blood cells are iron based ( Hemoglobin ) a strong negative ion or magnetic field can affect circulation and / or magnetic alignment of the human cells at an atomic level. So based on that action it may provide some benefit for many, but not all, of the aliments that the early models were said to cure.

    They were always called Violet Ray back then. Violet Wand is the modern term used by those who use these as BDSM devices; I know of no old ads which used that term. They're wonderfully cool, and they're still used in some European beauty spas for flushing the skin, which as you said, they will do. The information booklets explained exactly where, how long and with which electrode to treat pages and pages of conditions, including cancer. The attached wand in your RenuLife is original; the separate one with the faceted tip was sold by Shelton Electric, and yours is the far-less-common marbled color.
    The tube electrode you have isn't one of the dreaded "orificial" ones. You'd hold that in your hand, the idea being that it'd charge your entire body. The older 'tonic electrodes' were metal, but often the 110v mains voltage would get through along with the high-frequency, so touching something grounded could give you a potentially-deadly shock. The European ones only used glass for this, but often with a metal coil inside for extra oomph. Scope out the old European sets, which sometimes had 20+ electrodes (mine has 28, and I've seen a few that had even more). It has some designed to go IN the body, too (ouch!) There's also a very rare electrode that generates low-power x-rays; I know of one example to exist.
    The one that was donated, with its metal tip, was designed for leak-finding in neon sign shops.

    • @JonasClark
      @JonasClark 6 днів тому

      @@patryklaskowski269 Violet Rays will not treat cancer, or any other disease. They will not treat inflammation. If you really must try anyway, I'll say the following:
      The modern units (as opposed to vintage/antique ones) are sold through beauty supply companies, their sparks aresharper and nastier somehow, and the new glass electrodes are junk. And no matter what unit it is, it should never be operated for longer than five minutes before letting it cool down. There's much talk in the BDSM community of new ones built for that purpose having a different "core," "without wax," that will run for longer. It won't. It's BS. It needs a cooling period after five minutes or it can get damaged over time and quit working.
      If you tell me what, exactly, you're trying to treat, I'll tell you what my 1930s Master Violet Ray booklet says about that. But again, testing as shown that increasing temporary bloodflow to a small area of the skin WILL NOT treat disease. But cancer MUST be treatwed by a doctor; people often get very sick or even die from homeopathic cancr treatment because it simply doesn't work (or in some cases, can actually harm you-- see also treatments such as colloidal silver and the infamous Jilly Juice).

Was 40 miles up a river, no hospital any where even down stream at the nearest village where one could get a warm beer. After being on site for two weeks, one morning at the village where i was staying (about 35 people) there was a commotion early in the morning. Went outside to find someone had shot a water moccasin in the river where we bathed each day. Next trip down river at the larger village, i found some missionaries who lived there and spoke English. I asked what did the locals do for snake bite. The missionary explained that they had a stun gun, and they would zap the bitten area. The voltage would convert the venom into a harmless liquid. And that was it. Living in Az my whole life, no one had ever heard of this? Instead victims pay thousands of dollars for the anti-venom...

      I just use a smaller machine that does the same it cost around 30 or 40 bucks, is called Pain Away it shots a jolt of electricity to removed join pain, but... Get this, it removes not just pain but I discover that also removes things like mosquito bites, but is sold as a pain remover, well I am a 60 year old evangelical rebel investigator push to the limits type of Minister, and I discover that, call it wherever you want, "entities" that get attach to the flesh don't like to be zapped, I saw many times while using the pain away, small dark energies leaving the part is my body that I was treating, and I saw the same happening in other people's bodies, I also many times got rid of strange sensations manifesting in different ways from pains to just not feeling right, no, they don't like to be zapped, they leave right away👍 it makes sense to me, they are energy, with no body to rest but the one they get attach to, when you zap them they feel it and don't like it, don't believe it? Wonder why the Greeks in ancient times use to get in some kind of water buckets with electric eels to get rid of maladies, and also in Latin America my great gran father use to jolt the whole family to get rid of maladies as well. These are classic kicking coil,(not a relay!), driven Oudin coils. The modern unit is actually a vacuum leak tester from Electro-Technics. Notice the insulating gap on the modern unit electrode, as the glass electrodes, it isolates line voltage from the HV/HF side.
    The insulation on the old unit is probably a mixture of beeswax and rosin which was very common. I think that the capacitor in the antique is not original, it may have been a repair.

      Yes, exactly this. I noted that it's more professionally known as an Oudin coil in a pre-release teaser that Jay put out. You can still buy new ones as a vacuum leak tester, or pay MUCH more for the same item with a few reproduction glass tubes from China thrown into a fancy velvet lined box, as sold by entrepreneurs to the adult 'toy' market. Not surprisingly, they tend to be vague or insist that their violet wand is somehow different, or exclusively made for them if you question them about it. Nope - unless you count sticking a fancy label to the housing!

    These are Oudin coils (see Google) and are still available on Amazon. TV repair shops in the vacuum tube era used these for clearing arcs in rebuilt CRTs (picture tubes). We had one we called the 'Cattle Prod'. If the rebuilt CRT contained any loose dust/debris, it would sometimes arc internally after installation. To clear it, we would hold the Cattle Prod directly to the CRT's base, and any loose junk inside would incandesce and fly around until it stuck somewhere, thereby preventing future arcing. (Our Cattle Prod's output probe was direct, like the ones on Amazon, not thru any glass attachments).

    Awesome that you discovered the violet wand.
    Interestingly they were purported to work back in the day. They became popular because they worked. Then when AC power was introduced the effectiveness went away. Back in 1920 there was still 110V D.C. Edison power.
    To simulate the old Edison power I just added a full wave bridge and power the violet ray with DC like they were designed to do. The pulsed DC has a medicinal effect.

    That was pretty awesome. I love the build quality of old devices like that. I wonder how long a relay would last in that type of application though. Does the modern one use a transistor instead?

    • @PlasmaChannel
      @PlasmaChannel  4 роки тому +19

      Hey Nigel! Glad you thought so. The coolest part is just the instant access to 50,000 volts. The sparks are really powerful. As for the relays, it still works on the 1920 one!! But, there is a bad short between the low voltage and high voltage coil...and it self destructs every time you turn it on. If it were not for that, the relay still works. Pretty crazy right?
      They still make relay versions, but many companies now use a transistorized circuit. Pretty boring if you ask me.

    Egypt had forest in past because of the equinox and the 12 astrological ages, their was warming and cooling and polar pole movements over time. As the earth rotated through the stars, its axis moves in smaller and larger rotational cycles, like winter like summer. Overtime the flow of the dipole field or axis within earth would move around as well. Causing the earth to go through reorientation as the poles move to readjust to the new dipole field or axis. This is why Antarctica use to have forest as well in past.
