    The first video you did was so good that I never looked back. And now an even better one? Kelly, you are amazing!

      I had some complaints that the other one was out of focus. I'm happy with the quality of this one 😀

    I’m so glad to finally see how to deal with the last set of warps to wrap around. I finally started doing a lock stitch, so I’m glad I’m doing that correctly! I’ve watched a lot of videos and everyone shows how to start but never how to finish. Thanks!

    Beautifully filmed Kelly. I did learn to hemstitch from your earlier video, though must say that this one is much better for those of us with older eyes. Thank you for your thoughtfulness.

    This was very clear and easy to understand. I watched it and immediately went in to do the end hemstitch on a just finished scarf on my. I've done hemstitching before, but this method results in a firmly anchored hem that looks very nice. I did a 3/3 hemstitch using exactly the same method as your 4/1. My scarf yarns are finer, so the 3/3 which is what I did at the beginning.

    Your last video was super helpful, this one is very clear thank you for making it I do have a question for you when you’re making kitchen towels or dish towels do you hemstitch each towel? Typically warp enough working threads to be able to leave for towels so I’m trying to figure out if I should be hemstitching each towel as I leave them

      @KellyCasanova  4 роки тому

      I don't actually don't hemstitch kitchen or dish towels, I always machine hem them.

      It's overshot, I have two classes on it.
      This one is for rigid heddle loom weavers-

    Hi Kelly: I have a question regarding the Overshot Lesson. If I purchase it, can I access it more than once? I have something on my loom right now, and since it is only my second project, I'm sure I'm not ready to weave an overshot pattern. Is this done with one heddle? I have an 12.5, a 10, and a 7.5 reed (as you can see I jump in with both feet. Can I find our what I need (type of yarn, etc.) before I sign up?

    • @KellyCasanova
      @KellyCasanova  3 роки тому

      Yes, if you purchase a class you have permanent access to it. It is a 2 heddle project. You can read more about it here - kelly-casanova-weaving-lessons.teachable.com/p/overshot-on-a-rigid-heddle-loom/?preview=logged_out

      Most of the time, but that's just the way I like it to look. You can certainly experiment with the numbers.

    Is the hemstitch enough to hold it together on it's own?

  • @kellyfazekas7831

    Is a 4:1 what you usually recommend?

    • @KellyCasanova
      @KellyCasanova  4 роки тому +2

      It is my favourite, but I do take the yarn thickness and type of project into account. I seem to do 4/1 most of the time, I'm a creature of habit I guess 😁
