Would be cool if you do Oakland area. It's such a viable alternative in this crazy crisis but since it's newly gentrified, I mean developed* there's very little reviews on it. Particularly the uptown area. Thx for reading!
@@cMontblanc I want to compare oakland vs the Mission!! Also, is it possible that due to more transportation available in the Mission, the crime rate is proportionally slightly up versus the other neighborhoods?
I lived in the Mission about 50 years ago. I made up a ditty: It's always sunny in the Mission. It's always sunny in my neighborhood. It's always sunny in the Mission. That's why everybody feels so good.
The mission has the most sun. It can be sunny when other parts of the city is not. Just above the mission is Noe Valley and that has less crime, and with that higher prices but easy access to Mission, plus 24th street and church with its own stores and easy access to Castro for those interested by a bus on Divisidero as well as acess by J Church train.
Dont waste your money especially not in the mission district, the mission district has several homecides, high crime rate and its home to the norteños and the sureños gangs and is full of garbage and broken glass
Your videos are awesome and I'm jelly. I wish you posted more. I've visited SF 3 times now. 3 awesome trips everytime. I'm studying CS so I can actually afford to live there in 3-4 years. I'm beyond excited
Like your SF vids. Basically you're the only SF vlogger that doesnt whinge or moan or speak with an incredible irritating valley girl accent. Right on.
LOL Back in 1985, Hayes Valley was such a ghetto that even the SFPD was reluctant to enter that 'hood. Now it's hip and chic; I think it was the 10/89 quake that damaged the Central Freeway and began Hayes Valley's gentrification.
Great videos of hiking and city exploring ,Rian. My girlfriend and I actually live right next to Devils Teeth Baking Company! Let me know if you guys ever need some city tour guides.
Im so glad I lived there in the 1980s when a high rent was $650 a month. I lived in the Tenderloin, when I first arrived, then Mission and finally Noe Valley... Hayes valley is just The Castro without all the madness, but when I heard $3550 a Month I really laughed.. are you folks insane.
Almost every bit of your "Lower Pacific Heights" footage was north of California street; i..e. in "Pacific Heights" itself - not lower pac heights at all.
You should do one on Soma district and it's nightlife since most of the good clubs are in that area. I lived in SF 14yrs ago in the Inner Sunset and then Lower Haight. Mission was not as safe for a white guy back then ,and neither was Tenderloin. I'll be visiting SF again in a month and will definitely be checking out Hayes area and maybe Mission since it's changed from what I remember. Thanks for the video
Dang! SF is expensive!!! No wonder making $117k is considered low income in SF. Eekk!!! Btw.... please more shots of Marianne and less of Rian. Thx! Lol.
I was born and raised in the Mission District. It pains me to see it so gentrified. The culture in SF is being destroyed. In 30 years SF will be nothing but tech nerds and hipsters.
Right why most had to move to Oakland makefire stole our building and .made me move after 8years new management came in and treated all us old tenants like trash and said the new common area was for tech kids only
Let me know if they're any other areas in San Francisco I should check out! Thanks for watching!

Hey please make more videos like this! I’m thinking of moving to SF, so I really appreciate it. Also, love the drone shots!

Thanks for the tip! The visual guide made for a chill night of research.

Alex Baber SF IS A SHITHOLE
Like your SF vids. Basically you're the only SF vlogger that doesnt whinge or moan or speak with an incredible irritating valley girl accent. Right on.
Lol, true that.
Yes, the whole UCSF Medical Center compound is EXTREMELY haunted and that ain't NO joke...

All San Fran was a ghetto. It was tech that did it.
@@joysoyo2416 So, in your mind, is tech a bad thing?
How are your videos not more popular?!
Two thumbs up. I mean you’re making me want to immediately hitchhike to San Fran
You always got a blow up mattress waiting for you at my place!
I'm moving there soon! Thanks for the video
I love the area! It's got pretty much everything I would want.
Bw don’t move here! You’ll become negative like the rest of us. Shit and needles everywhere. Worse than Bombay.
Great videos of hiking and city exploring ,Rian. My girlfriend and I actually live right next to Devils Teeth Baking Company! Let me know if you guys ever need some city tour guides.
Thanks, appreciate it! Yeah we're always looking for awesome new places to check out!
I LOVE your SF neighbourhood videos, but seems you only have 2? Lol. Please do more 😍
That camera angle at 3:15! That in itself has made it worth the subscribe!
Also, super informative video! That too...
Angles, angles, angles... That's what I always say! Haha. Thanks for watching, appreciate it!!
Enjoy your channel, Why did you stop posting?……did you move out of area.?.. Thank you best wishes, Jake

Nick Norton all lies tho. I was born and raised and still here in sf.

Sean McBride man idk ima kid and I gotta think about this tho. I would like to be a doctor
Shant P. How old are you

Асылан Искаков panhandle=shithole
Асылан Искаков NOB HILL= lots of rich muslims
The place in your thumbnail isn’t that right next to the icecream shop
Good eye! That is right next to Smitten!
@@RianSpaulding yup my father used to take me there every Sunday before the pandemic 😷
Edit: best icecream I ever had

@john Vonundzu Yeah! You can’t pull the wool over our eyes @rianspaulding
Since it's San Francisco what's the weather like in each area?
Jesus those prices. I’m from the bay but moved out after high school and this just confirmed that I will not be coming back.
Yeah it's crazy! But housing costs are actually not going up as fast now....still going up though unfortunately.
I like Hayes Valley a lot !! 😁😁😁but I like El Farolito....
Burritos🌯🌯 are always a smart bet.
At those prices ill stay here in NYC
No earthquakes to upset my glassware.
😂
Wow this is awesome 👌
Appreciate it!! Thanks for watching!
Lower Pac heights might be pretty cool too!!
It's pretty alright!! Thanks for watching!
I think technically speaking the SF area in general is known as Southern Portland Option. SoPoOp, if you will.
It's a real up and coming area!
For those prices it better be the cia guarding those apartments
I wouldn't consider any of those neighborhoods. I love the Upper Haight, especially Cole Valley.
Very nice!
I wonder how is it to use public transportation in SF....
It's pretty convienent! A little more expensive than I originally thought it would be though. Thanks for watching!
myrik baydala MUNI= 60% smelly homeless peple. Make u vonit

Heard that! Her face is way better than mine! Thanks for watching!!
SF IS VERY DIRTY TOO. EVERY INCH SMELLS LIKE HUMAN SHIT AND URINE.
Deez Vannnd still dumb. You can have 4 properties in Arizona for the “rent” payment of San Fran. I just don’t get!!
Then covid struck and everything in the city went to shit.
Yeah, I’d get the heck out of there @rianspaulding
Ha you should do it by $ :)
yk your a transplant when you call it “upper fillmore”

Sounds good to me. Every area changes, it’s time to move on to your next adventure. I’ll be moving to San Francisco, it’s my turn to enjoy the city.
Mr Gee - honest question here, no disrespect. What was the culture of the Mission District before it was so gentrified?
@@princessadora lmao how's daddy's money treating you in SF?
@@princessadora then covid struck....
You mean pacific whites
Walkability = anti car
This video is so fake. Fact: It’s foggy winter 11 months out of the year.
what you expect from el yupplito
I saw ALOT of your face and a little of the neighborhoods.
