Silvio is doing impressions of Michael Corleone from part 3 of The Godfather. From the audience standpoint they are bad impressions which is funny but it's even funnier that the guys genuinely think they are good.
Yes, this season also has 13 episodes. Seasons 1-5 have 13, but season 6 is split into 2 parts and is often considered separate seasons. 6A has 12 episodes and 6B has 9. The cast typically refers to 6B as season 7. It's more like a Kill Bill Vol. 1 and 2 scenario, where it's one overall vision or story but it just feels right to classify them separately. For future reference, this is my ranking of the seasons: Season 6B (2007) - 10/10 Season 5 (2004) - 10/10 Season 3 (2001) - 10/10 Season 2 (2000) - 9.5/10 Season 4 (2002) - 9.5/10 Season 1 (1999) - 9/10 Season 6A (2006) - 9/10
I was like where is 6B? and then I realize it’s the first one and I totally agree. Yeah that season is pretty dark, but I think top notch cinema, acting, story it’s the best for last!
I like how you identified Adriana's mess-up of talking about Chris' drug-use and even making that malicious "junkie" comment before he slapped her. Of course it's no excuse or justification for that sort of physical contact - of course - but at least you recognized her wrongdoing & instigation towards him which is what caused & resulted in Chris' response in the first place.
30:49 Tony likes to think he’s a devote Catholic, but he’s a mobster, which is pretty contradicting he likes to use religion when it suits him and you’ll see
The first season of the show is the weakest (and it's still good), everything just gets better and better from now on! Looking forward to watching your guys' reactions to this masterpiece. Subscribed!
Yeah, don't read too much into people's opinions about Janice. I'll just say people who have a high opinion of Tony but a low opinion of Janice frustrate me. I love Janice for various reasons but a lot because Tony gets apoplectic. We're getting closer but this episode introduced two characters which helped me form my cinematic theory of Chris. And the season will introduce one more that's central to it.
Janice is indeed the older sister and the girl in the flashback.
